  1. What do you mean?
  2. I have come to the realisation (if someone already had the same idea, sorry) that each order represents the purpose or main feature of each order. Windrunners - They run across the sky, travelling but also free Skybreakers - They're the ones who break even a split vote or similar to adhere to the law Dustbringers - They bring dust/ destruction (don't know enough but following along with the theory) Edgedancers - The dance on edges, able to be nimble even in tight spots Truthwatchers - They watch for the truth and know the truth but also watch what they say in regard to it Lightweavers - They weave light, sound and other waves Elsecallers - (Idk how to describe this one) Willshapers - They shape what they want by their own will Stonewards - They act as wardens who are impossible to move like stone Bondsmiths - They smith bonds between people and objects Was this already a concept? If so please add to it.
  3. So cool dude! and very thought out. I don't think many people are Skybreakers or Dustbringers.
  4. I really hope not because becoming a shard doesn't usually end well ;-;
  5. I always thought that Storm Light will be the series that connects all the other's together (could be wrong), so what a cool way to show the connection between worlds then to have Zahel use those to demonstrate his power.
  6. So would it be possible to imply that each unmade manifests in a way that adheres to their "surges" essence? Could it be possible that the Unmade were normal Radiant spren but then were Unmade by Odium to learn how to use their surges? I know Knight Radiants have two surges but there is a WoB's out there saying one surge is easier for one order compared to the other. eg Shallan is good at illumination compared to soulcasting.
  7. This is a good theory and observation. It makes you wonder how intelligent spren are because they learnt how to bond with humans by watching the heralds do it (along with honour) and it was even stated that they did a better job at doing it compared to honour and the heralds. Also, were Void spren once normal spren who bonded with the Singers since they were the original people of the land or did they live in ignorance of the other?
  8. I shared awhile ago the concept that maybe Renarin can't use the illumination surge because of him being on the spectrum which makes it harder for to imagine something because people of the spectrum are more literal in thinking. That's why sarcasm and similar go over their heads. They usually can only see the literal thing and takes a lot of proactice to be able to imagine something completely in their own head.
  9. That sounds very sus though. Urithiru is probably something just as over the top just not in the flying type. It can teleport people different parts of Roshar, maybe it can teleport people to other planets....
  10. I wonder if Jasnah and Renarin are character foils? Because of the line where Jasnah said that people said the same things about her as they Renarin.
  11. It is exactly the case. The only reason why they both didn't go down the same path is Kaladin was brought up to help people even when they wanted to bring him or others around him down. Moash sounds like he didn't have that and was left to keep his anger festering
  12. He didn't finish. He had one more line, the journey before destination or he said almost that whole line. Same thing happened with Venli, she began glowing just before the last line too
  13. I always thought Elhokar wanted to become like Kaladin and believed him saving his kingdom was a way to prove to himself and others that he was worthy king. He didn't want to die because he tried to say the Oath but was killed half way through saying them. You could really see him changing into a better man in the writing so you knew he was going to die but the actual character didn't want to. That is why his death was so tragic because he hadn't accomplished his character arc.
  14. I totally agree with this. Though I will add something said in a fan fan fiction... bare with me... that argued that the line "don't trust people who can tell the future" was a loss in translation with the actual "quote/saying" being "don't trust the events people see of the future" or something like that. The reason was because the future can change so the person wasn't lying, they were saying what they saw but it can come off as lying, thus untruthful because what they see can change due to human choice.
  15. My favourite Radiant is Renarin (If that isn't obvious) The reason why is because he is different, an outsider to his own group, which is something deeply relate to. Along with his medical issues, I relate because I have seen how those can influence a person in who they are. Matala is a radiant I don't like because she seems so keen to just break things without thinking of the why, I don't hate her for her association with the diagram but I do hate her because of her attitude towards others
  16. Brothers in the non-blood sense?
  17. So I have been reading the forums, interested in other people's theories and ideas when something struck my attention. Shallan has been proven to have a feeling when something isn't right, the only example I have at the moment is the Unmade in Uritherial. She has been shown to be influenced by the Unmade which is seen in her drawings. Further someone said, and could be wrong, that Shallan drew Ash without knowing who she was. Just drew the event (prove me right or wrong) This could technically insinuate that Shallan is able to sense the future. Renarin on the other hand who we have talked a lot about sees the future in the form of mirrors. He also mentions to Shallan that he can feel the wrongness of the Unmade in Uritherial. So my question is, could Illumination the surge of manipulating sound and creating (making a lie as Shallan puts it), along with intelligence, make it possible to see or sense the future through educated guesses and illumination? This is similar to the idea about Mr T and the diagram being only educated guesses after being given the ability to see. I probably didn't explain this well but I hope it is understandable.
  18. Maybe they're brothers or related in some way? Shallan seems to be able to sense when things go wrong (does does Renarin in regards to the unmade in Urithrial, maybe Illumination thing?) So maybe she can sense a connection between Hoid and Mraize without realising it
  19. Granted you'll have any type of ice cream at any time but that is all you can eat and drink I wish I had a snickers bar
  20. Maybe... like Nale.... wants to return the land to the Singers.... then wanted to or thought he could dominate them...... Odium plays for both sides. I wouldn't be shocked if Gavilar thought he was protecting his family if he caused a peaceful desolation.
  21. I didn't know that. They made it very obvious so maybe he knows Hoid from that
  22. Well if it helps, Mraize in his room of treasures, he has stuff from other planets in the cosmere, he could be another worldhopper or he knows Hoid ect
  23. The amount of times people say Dalinar is going to descend, I have to disagree. Sanderson has already done that, if were to do it again, he would be repeating himself. I don't think Dalinar will become Honour or hold the shard or whatever. I believe something else will happen that we will have no way of guessing without more information
  24. From reading all this, I have come to the conclusion that Renarin is most likely the wild card which Cultivation/ Mr T couldn't account for. Not only to agree that Cultivation probably gave Mr T his boon or at least had some say but purposely gave false information to misdirect Odium. But she could do nothing in relation to Renarin so she couldn't steer Mr T either or way. Some of the diagram had to work otherwise Mr T will realise how much of a fraud he was
