In a nutshell, it's a writing group to help you with your writing projects to make them better. The intro thread chaos will post will explain it better, but that's basically what it is. The specifics will be explained in chaos' thread, though, but that's basically what it is so you have an idea if it's something you want to participate in or not. C-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker!

i usually use those little fishtank glass beads/baubles because they're easy to get and inexpensive. You can get like hundreds from any pet shop for a few of bucks.

It's also worth noting that the passwords are only an issue if these following scenarios are true: 1. your password is the same on TWG as on your email 2. your password is a single, common dictionary word less than about 8 characters or so 3. any very common permutations there of (he110 for example) 4. Using standard or no casing as opposed to a random casing (He11o vs hE11o) 5. doesn't use extra random characters (&,^,%,#,$ for example) if any of these (well, mostly 1 and 2, less so 3 and 4) are false then you likely have nothing to worry about other than your email maybe getting a little more spam than usual since your address is posted publicly. If you would like help or suggestions for securing your password, feel free to hit me up via PM, and i can help you turn your password into something more secure (i promise i wont steal it or something )

Heh, i always thought that buffing tokens to be really powerful was a goofy idea. Especially if you don't have like "official" tokens or something, and you're just using like pennies or paper or something. "see this penny? It just wiped out everything you own in this card game."

i've never played gamma world, but i know of it. It was written by gary gygax at TSR back in the 1970's just like the original D&D. I'm surprised WOtC decided to continue it, since it was never stupid popular like D&D was. To my knowledge, they've always based the ruleset for it off of D&D. for some reason, your post made me think of a great tabletop, so i'm going to recommend it. You should try out sometime paranoia. It's a great (silly) game.

yeah, i'm honestly not surprised about the tablet/mobile phone part going down. Back in the day, i was a big palm guy (before all these here i-devices and androids) because for its time palmOS of was really advanced. However, webOS (which is what HP bought them out for) was a huge let down. It had some neat ideas (true multitasking, the card system, synergy, etc.) but the OS itself felt like it was only half finished and really buggy. This stuttered it with slow adoption which lead to slow developer acceptance. This in turn led to a low app count that barely went anywhere. They also had trouble coming up with a "killer device" for webOS. What i mean by that is all of the hardware they released it on was "meh" when it came out. But yeah, i'm honestly way more surprised about the "no more consumer PCs" thing.

and thus the stalking begins..... I as well am generally reachable over IM, mostly AIM though, but since you dont use it, and i rarely use skype.....

FYI to all those who dont own an android/i-device, this application was recently updated to be able to played through facebook, meaning if you have a facebook, then you're likely to be able to play with all of us who are currently playing it! I just figured i'd mention that so that all the rest of you slackers now know you have no more excuse to not be playing this!
