  1. Interesting..... Musing to myself about the implications and possible abilities of this young girl, I consider my strategy momentarily. I'll come out swinging hard in Tactician, in hopes to gauge her abilities. If i need something more stout, I'll find somewhere to hide and swap to Champion. Glancing about, I take note of any possible hiding places. With that, I draw my hammer and shift into tactician form. Waving my hammer above my head to catch her attention, I call out to the young girl. "I wish you safety, and look forward to testing my abilities against you!" And with that, I rest my weapon at my side and await for the commencement of the match to be announced. In the back of my mind, I consider Jay'El in the other arena, and hope things are going well for him.
  2. Oh, i assumed it was like a gladiatorial arena where they have a "ready" area for the two fighters to come out when called/when the match starts. Is this an incorrect assumption? i.e. i assumed i was supposed to head to a ready/waiting area until they're all "In this corner, Eerongal!!" at which point I'm supposed to walk out or something along those lines. However, if the standard procedure is to be standing IN the arena before names are called out, then we can go ahead and say that's where I am. I just wanted to make sure of exactly my circumstances for meeting her.
  3. i dont think steam auto drops people from friends lists that I'm aware of (unless there's some sort of setting for it). I have a few people on my list who haven't logged on in years.
  4. so....the girl i see in the recent post. What are the circumstances? Like am i down in the arena and she's obviously my opponent, or is she on my way to the arena ready-area?
  5. we started at level 5 or so, and the campaign ended at level 8 or 9. Also, in that same campaign, we ended up breaking the story line and then fixing it on our own. I'm not entirely sure how, but somehow we misinterpreted clues that pointed to "get information from the thieves guild leader because he's the resistance leader you're looking for" as "murder the thieves guild leader". Which we did. Then we found out that we were supposed to HELP him, not KILL him as the rest of his men were coming. So our nixie rogue ended up bluffing and enchanting our way out of it, making them think that an assassin came and we were too late to stop him and we had a fight with him before he escaped and rallied the thieves guild to our side and led them on a charge against their oppressors, which we quietly slipped on them on before they realized our lies and the enchantments faded.
  6. in our D&D games we're notorious for recruiting NPC allies and using them as meat shields for us. In one campaign, we convinced the guard captain of a city to investigate some haunted ruins outside of his city with us (he brought a few troops and stuff) and we ended up finding a portal that we all got pulled through to another part of the world thats essentially nothing but an undead infested waste land. The guard captain was with us like 90% of the campaign (his lackies died real quick) and finally died as we were approaching the finality of the campaign. So instead of heading off an finishing our objective, we set off on a self selected side quest to go into the spiritual realm and got his spirit and found his spirit and put his soul into the body of a captive enemy necromancer we had captured. It was awesome.
  7. I played it for a while. But its been probably a year or two since ive even touched Favorite character: Gentlemen Cho'Gath.
  8. so.....speaking of squids from space.....did you name one of them Admiral Ackbar?
  9. Kandra. Nigh invincibility, long life, and shape shifting is awesome. PC or console? (gaming, obviously)
  10. Cephalopod. It seems google chrome doesn't like it either The recommendations: Cephalic. Hydrocephalus. Encephalitis. Encephalitic.
  11. Space squids, eh? That sounds like something science certainly NEEDS to pursue.
  12. ^ This ^
  13. Yeah, that's what i've heard from a few friends of mine, that cataclysm is a pretty big game changer. However, the reason i havent tried it out in any capacity is because my account apparently got hacked and banned when it was deactivated (it was actually associated to a different email when they upgraded to the new b.net system) and in order to get it working again, I have to like call up their support and fill out a form and mail it in (though, it's associated to my account correctly now), and my desire to play hasn't been great enough to overcome my laziness to not do that
  14. There's a donation button on the about page.
  15. Well, we're actually playing the MMO named "Dungeons and Dragons Online" Honestly, i really like how it works out, it's pretty unique as far as MMO's go. It follows 3/3.5 edition rules actually really closely with a few minor tweaks and additions (also: it's free2play) Honestly, i've been bored with WoW for like the past year and a half or so. So much so that even all the promised changes in cataclysm couldn't lure me back into it. However, i am all sorts of ready for SWTOR.
  16. Yeah, from what I know of it, it's been a combination of both time (to do the moving and conversion) and money (potential upgrading costs), really. I know Chaos has been working with what we have to minimize such occurrences, but there's only so much you can do when the physical hardware is an issue. I'm sure if it gets too bad we'll work something out.
  17. I went ahead and moved this to entertainment discussion. Seemed a bit more fitting here.
  18. Big crunch. It's a significantly more epic way for the universe to go out. Google or bing?
  19. Well, that was interesting As the match finishes, i immediately get up and head down to the arena's preparation area. I may as well be ready and on time, i suppose.
  20. I'll just leave this right here....
  21. So me and my friends have been playing a lot of Dungeons and Dragons online recently. I played a bit back when it first went free to play a year or two ago, but picked it back up again here in the past couple of weeks. We play on the Ghallanda server. Anyone else here play?
  22. Science! Obviously. Coke or pepsi
  23. Personally, i use B&N Nook's android app on occasion on both my phone and my tablet. However, i haven't used any of the others, so my opinion is skewed in favor of nook due to lack of experience here (i'm not a huge e-books guy ). I hear good things about kindle, though.
  24. False. Hill but not mountain

Wow, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. In slightly similar related news, since the last time we've really interacted i as well have moved, but not across country, just 500 miles or so.
