    Looking back, I try to see that simple ‘hero's story’ but it isn’t. Kaladin is special. Odium didn’t (I wrote doesn’t and realized that didn’t fit as well anymore) have complete control over his forces. They have other motives, which end up working in Kaladin's favor. The heavenly ones particularly are very motivated by honor. If the windrunners follow their rules, then they will continue to meet them in 1v1 combat.

    I’m writing a speech based off this idea. I want to thank everyone who has posted, it's made my speech much better than if I had come up with all this myself. I’ll post it when I’m done. I will make sure I credit it to you wonderful people!

    I feel like I rushed through RoW fast enough I would find just as many things the next time I read it as I did the first time. (I’ll probably reread it before too long. I was putting off a Mistborn reread until after RoW) Aaaaanyways, welcome! I don’t think we have any chasmfiend rabbits, but there are a few hemalurgic animals running around, (Also, the ookla thing is a yearly celebration, so it's not always full of similar names.)
