  1. First of all, Sorry @Lumgol. It sucks to die so early as an elim. Particularly when your death was due to a scan and had nothing to do with you. : / Let me stop you right there. She wasn't. She is evil. There is a 75% chance she is evil, due to voting numbers. She didn't claim to have bribed anyone, and even if she did, if she claimed to have Bribed Kidpen, one of her/Drake is evil. If she claimed to have Bribed Fifth, she is still probably evil, as there is no village reason (I can think of) to bribe him We can confirm she was scanned as she has a ledger in her inventory. While this can't technically make it 100% known she is evil, I'd give it a good 98.74% chance she is evil. Not completely certain what she is trying to say here. It seems like she is trying to go after Joe, while saying not to lynch Gaea or Wilson, but then says Gaea would be the better lynch between them. Reading this though, I'm not sure if Lum realized we can only lynch 2/3 of the constables. Attacks Striker. Doesn't really mean anything. Again, not certain what this post is intended for. Once I heard she was evil, I created a PM with her. But the fact she never responded makes me think she has been fairly busy lately. Super insane theory: Striker and Lum are both evil, but Lum didn't have time for the game, so the elims bussed her. Ok, that's probably not the case, but had to get it out there. Anyways, if she was busy, then likely she skimmed through the thread to look at the first two people she could. When I am rushed, I tend to avoid my teammates, as Rushed!Fura has in the past, outed their own teammates on accident while rushed. Soft village read on Elandera and Alv for this? This is throwing me off a bit. I think you are a villager right now, but just kind of feels strange to me. Honestly, I tempted to push for a Wilson lynch today. I think the elims were split C1 between Gaea and Joe. I really want to trust Drake, and we have been mindmelding a bit, but... Idk, I feel like something is off here. Looking at Drake, when i think of elim teams, he could fit in a team with most people... Araris/Striker - Not W/W Fifth/Striker - Not W/W
  2. Niroinim glanced at Palpatune and tried to repress a scowl. What was it with this man and music? There were better ways to spend your time! "Perhaps you think the opera is good, but it is just a place people go where they are allowed to be payed to scream all day. I'd much rather read a book" Niroinim did a double take, apparently he had misjudged some of the people in this room... "I mean, perhaps they do have their time and place..." He looked over Sheev's shoulder to see an order for execution. "Now Now, Sheev! We musn't resort to such violence! Then we would be no better than her! What we truly need, is to bring in the constabulary. We will throw her in prison, and interrogate her for additional info on her fellow traitors. There is no need for such drastic and medieval methods."
  3. Senator Ninoirim looked around at the chaos in the room. It was lovely to watch. Amid chaos, all one had to do was stand out as the sane. Unite everyone, and the best way, was to unite against another. There were several empty seats from Senators that never returned from the previous recess. How irresponsible! Ninoirim thought. How did any of these people get elected in the first place? He coughed to get people's attention... But no one heard. He coughed much louder, and his butler came running with a poorly structured and organized book. He quickly opened it to a page referencing remedies, but Ninoirim glared at the butler, who promptly realized he wasn't needed. Ninoirim was pulled to a corner of the room by Senator Uno, who urgently whispered he had discovered a corrupted senator. "Who else have you told?" Ninoirim demanded, this was an urgent matter. If the wrong people were included in this exposure... "Senator Glacior was the only one I told so far" replied Uno. Ninoirim breathed a sigh of relief, before Uno added, "and Glacior told another..." As Ninoirim turned to find Glacior in order to find out who the other person was, Doctor Heatherlocke stepped out of the crowd with an announcement. Ugh, of course it was him! Well, at least it wasn't Elentari. She is always getting in my way. As Heatherlocke made the announcement, people were quick to condemn Cinco. Ninoirim felt a pang of guilt for letting a close friend get caught, but sacrifices are sometimes necessary. Ninoirim walked over to his butler to explain the situation. Hopefully the focus on Cinco would distract everyone from himself.
  4. In all honesty, if something happens in-thread, my self restrain will be non-existent... so There is no way I am actually going to hold long at 999 for long xD I will try though. : ) all you have to do is get one of the elims to claim their own alignment, and I'll come right back : P
  5. ...And we are still 2.33 hours from rollover xD edit: halp! Someone write my posts for me! Im too close to 1000!!!! Edit edit: if I hit 999, Im not going to post again until I get my thing written, so you'll have to contact me through PMs Edit edit edit: : )
  6. I did respond to it: Beyond that post, most of my response of this has happened in PMs over the past couple hours, as I was familiar with what was going on before it was posted. Striker(2): Fifth, Araris, Lum Lum(4): Striker, Drake, Devotary, ArkSnip(2): Alv, HaelArk(1): SnipGaea(1): Rae Wilson(0): Ark I don't think that's the correct vote count? edit: my computer didnt load the 5th page... *sigh*
  7. Any analysis to share? We have a 1v1 here, and the more info/analysis you/striker can provide on other players, the more confident I'll be in you being village. Edit: lum, right now, my vote would probably land on you. But you and Striker arent far apart.
  8. 1. Should have killed Alv instead of Burnt (no offence Alv. ) 2. Dont vote on Wilson, you are wasting your vote. Wilson will not be lynched today nor will any other constable.
  9. Wait what? They modkilled you or lynched you? Actually, when I played there, some people tried to lynch players like that, but there were too many, so the village gave up after C2.
  10. Um, it's still frowned upon... It's just that there are now several players here who have made it their normal playstyle. : /
  11. Lol. While your efforts are... interesting... There's still 8 hours to the cycle, and I can guarantee, I'm not ending a day without a vote on someone, and I'll do what I can to get that person lynched over anyone else. So you voting on yourself kind of gets in the way of that. Though... Who knows. I may just vote on you again later. : P Umm... Good point xD I mean, I wasn't 100% confident in Joe's alignment, but I was more than 99% confident. : P As for anything else... Oops xD
  12. Striker Oh, I also never actually removed my vote from Kidpen I don't think, so... Kidpen xD
  13. Yeah, I misunderstood the thing about the survivor. Also, my suspicion of you was overstated as a poke. You aren't a good lynch today. Thanks for responding though! I would lean that you are village at the moment. I'd like to note that those you are responding to, are the ones arguing for a player lynch today... Ah, that explains it. This was meant to be in my last post, but I forgot it. Is this your only reason for voting Bard? wouldn't Snip would be a better lynch than just this. Sure, it feels staged, but it's how many people write posts. It's worth calling him out on it (as I did in my analysis), but it's hardly worth lynching over. As both alignments, I will often just type down whatever i am thinking, and will contradict myself several times as my thoughts develop. I did that in this post: I nominated Drake because his post asking to be elected governor was the only one that I liked. I can't really remember why, though maybe I'll be able to point it out if I go back and reread it at some point. Also, not sure what those bolded sentences are trying to say.... Yeah, I almost nominated him too. I just wanted to see what you said. As for the bolded part, I am thinking from an elim mindset of why you would want to encourage the village to elect governors. In the end, I think the chance that an elim could be it, is worth the risk of harm the village could do. It's confusing because I switched from my PoV, to a specifically elim PoV but didn't transition into it at all. So that's my bad. So you are saying that the chance of getting the corrupt constable is worth losing both a lynch and our recurring items? Fair enough. And I look forward to it. : ) Striker's responses don't make me feel much better, but I am willing to look elsewhere for a lynch if I see something suspicious. I mean, I don't feel any more or less confident than usual, so idk. Are you saying I seem to confident in my alignment, or my ability to read other's alignments? Ninja'd 6 times, responded to everyone. Im ending this post now. Darn, I need to stop posting so much. I'm approaching 1000 posts far faster than I like...
  14. A snip lynch makes sense... but is based more on speculation than anything. I wouldn't Support a Hael lynch. I'm partially biased as I've never played with him before, but I don't think he has done enough to justify a lynch. Why do you suspect Rae? I don't understand your defense of Striker. (Yes, I know you said you were suspicious of him, but this is still a defense) I think Striker currently has the votes of Fifth, Araris, and myself. Fifth and I, as far as I can tell, are basically on the exact same page as to why we should lynch Striker. Araris' was less explained, but was basically as a "last straw" thing I think. Striker had said enough sus stuff, and Araris decided he was worth lynching. (Not trying to put words in anyone's mouth) In this situation, I am unsure of what the bolded words mean above.
  15. Forget what? : P @DrakeMarshmallow your vote on Bard is a poke, and while I would be more okay with lynching Bard than most other players, I still think Striker is the best lynch. Who do you think is better? If you don't want Striker lynched, a poke vote is not putting your money where your mouth is.
  16. Um, wow. Ok. Might have been a better question to ask in your GM PM so that it's not public info but... ok then... That was an excellent question. I don't actually think that's what we saw this past cycle, but in future cycles, we likely will now. : )
  17. I second what Devotary said. She is very smart. Also, my previous post was ninjad about 5 times apparently. Strikers most recent posts are also suspicious, but I need to get back to work now as lunch is over.
  18. First of all, I'm going to look at those that voted on Joe. I am confident there is at least 1 elim among them. (This list is in order of the votes on Joe) Striker - Strong Elim Read First vote on Joe, and seems to have village reasons. I say that because I was typing up a post saying almost the exact same thing before I deleted that post and made a 180 to target Gaea. This post is a bit strange. How was Joe the obvious choice? To me, it seemed pretty clear it was a trap. You can argue that I had a 66% chance of being correct, and yeah, I did. But mechanically, it doesn't make sense for Joe to have been corrupt... Then nominates Drake as Governor. I don't think that was a bad choice, but... why? Drake wasn't the only one to nominate himself. I also think the elims are going to have more to gain from trying to get people to elect governors. When that person is village, then that sucks, but statistically, they are still more likely to get other villagers. In the hands of an elim, it is very powerful Are you completely disregarding the possibility of Wilson being corrupt? Oh Striker, I didn't realize you were such a PM activist! : P I don't recall you using PMs all that much in previous games though. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong though. I already got after you for this post, but one more thing: Complete reversal of what you say 2 posts ago where we would simply lynch Gaea. Bard - Slight Elim Read Would you vote for Gaea or Wilson now? I honestly don't see why you voted, and then changed your vote mid post. I mean, I do... But it makes it confusing. I don't like this post much. reads to me like hedging. That's all I got lol. My time is up. Spent too much time on Striker. The people I'll do once I get home are: Lumgol, Elandera, Rae, Kidpen, and Alv. I will also be voting on Striker this turn. We should NOT be voting on a gm this turn.
  19. Agreed. And while they then become a single use item, as far as the players are concerned, the items will always be a single use item. Therefore, they will likely be used the same amount. If I am not mistaken, this was the vote count EoD1: Joe (6): Striker, Bard, Lumgol, Elandera, Rae, Kidpen Gaea (4): Fifth, Drake, Devotary, Fura Wilson (2): Araris, Ark Burnt (1): Snipexe Fura (1): Elbereth Rath (1): Hael Vote count SoD2: (italicised names are ones that stayed consistent. Bolded names changed between the two counts) Joe(6): Striker, Bard, Lumgol, Elandera, Rae, Kidpen, Alvron Gaea(4): Fifth, Drake, Devotary, Fura, Kidpen Wilson(3): Araris, Ark, Fifth Burnt Spaghetti(1): Snipexe Furamirionind(1): Elbereth Rathmaskal(1): Haelbarde This is rather interesting, as Someone added Alv to Joe, Someone added Kidpen to Gaea, and someone added Fifth to Wilson. My guess was: Alv was added as someone felt like the Joe lynch wasn't secure enough. Kidpen was added to Gaea by someone trying to lynch Gaea Fifth was added to Wilson by... idk. An elim? It makes no sense to me.
  20. Hmm. While that is fair, @Alvron was arguing that lynching Gaea would turn off all items this game? or something like that. If we get rid of all items, now we can't kill, can scan, cant... do any of the other things items can do this game?? (Full disclosure, still haven't had time to read the rules. Hopefully I'll get to that over lunch, but my player analysis is higher priority I think)
  21. why? edit: I agree we should wait at least 1 cycle, but why Wilson? I am far more suspicious of Gaea. Speaking of who I am suspicious of, the GMs have taken up far too much of our discussion time. Time to start talking about players. I'm at work, but I'll write something up over lunch.
  22. You are sorely disappointed? The way I play this game revolves around PMs, and the first time i'm in a game with someone similar, they die C1. :sob: That was Ark's only post so far. Its not a bad post, and we have seen Ark become more active in recent games. He and Burnt have had no interactions. The only link between Ark and Burnt, is that Ark and Snipexe are both members of the alleyverse, and Snip voted on Burnt. However, I don't think it particularly likely that this link is relevant at all. Burnt never voted, but I don't think that is something Ark would care about. But I will say this, it would be very much like Ark to claim a name beforehand, and then follow through with that claim, even if it outs him. I definitely want to hear what Ark has to say about this...
