Darn, I didn't even see Rath's vote on Drake... Based on CadCom's votecount: Rath (3) - Sart, Drake, DevotaryDrake (2) - Devotary, Rath, Fura, SartStick (0) - FuraSnipexe (2) - Stick, Fura Fura's D1 Village Core: Devotary Stick CadCom Drake - Drake was not on this list before now. I just reread him, and without my paranoid biases, I trust him. He is putting through effort, voting, prompting people, and changing his vote, prompting more. This is a good village D1 play-style, and one that few people on this forum (that I have seen) use. even if he is purely doing this to look like a villager, it's still benefiting the village, so I'm willing to not kill him D1. What about Drake seems off to you? My PoE says Snipexe is the person I should vote for today, and as he already has a vote, his lynch will be in contention too. Drake Snip

Um, lol? I tried to do math on how that game would turn out, but there are too many variable. idk how that would work xD Well, all roles right now are village... We could try a mass claim... : P He actually has posted, but it wasn't very substantial. Basically saying he wasn't going to vote D1. hahahahaha. I love how you say raps are village, then give him Neutral. : P Hahaha again. Anyways, I'm not certain if I can agree with you here about CadCom at least. I'm only suspicious of him from his going after Xino. Speaking of which: @Cadmium Compounder Why do you think lynching Xino to be okay this game? I'm normally not shy about lynching inactives, but with so few mislynches, I'm concerned that lynching him is just about the worst possible thing we can do. Especially as, given his history, he is likely village.

Ah, that sucks. Good luck with that! Ok, after Stick and Devotary posting again, I am reading Devotary as village due to tone... mostly gut... And Stick seems to be in her village meta. Out of my original list, that leaves: Xino Snip but right now I don't think Xino is evil either... I absolutely hate that this is a strategy, and wouldn't be opposed to lynching him because of it, but he puts in effort when evil. When he is a villager, his activity varies between minimally active to inactive. I also forgot, it's probably worth mentioning that people's playstyles will likely be "not" their normal elim game, due to it being a conversion. So... I've narrowed my list down to one person... This makes me really apprehensive. Especially since I cleared some people extremely easily... I'm considering pulling back my village reads of Drake, Rath, and Shane. Ninja'd by Devotary, Rath, and CadCom. Good, as I'm going to switch my vote. : P For the purpose of Wagonomics, I'm going to vote on Drake. I'm at work, but I should be available the whole time. Does anyone know what happens on a tied vote? Stick Drake

While I agree it's probably a bit early to go after people yet to post, I do want to point out that both Snip and Xino have been online since they were tagged. The most recent time I recall me posting something like this, was probably LG55 And I'll be 100% honest, I wanted to be the Inquisitor so bad this game. xD Oh, awesome! Idk how I messed that up. Let's see... Yes. Ok, so we need to kill the inquisitor first... If I was the Inquisitor, first thing would be to get Iron charged for a convert. Then, naturally, convert someone. After that, Atium should be charged asap as it can be reused and given different powers, it's the most valuable. But... If the elim team is playing to win, they'd probably pick Iron for that too, even though it's not the most exciting metal. If I assume they are playing to win: Need to lynch 6 times. (I)nquisitor: 3 innate lives, 1 extra. 4 total (C)onvert: 1 innate life, 1 extra, 2 total D1 Lynch C1: 12-1 C2: 10-1 (-mislynch, -kill) C3: 8-2 (-mislynch, -convert) C4: 7-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 3 lives left C5: 6-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 2 lives left C6: 5-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 1 lives left C7: 4-1 (-lynch, -kill) -I deaded C8: 3-1 (-lynch, -kill) -Lylo D1 No-Lynch C1: 12-1 C2: 11-1 (-kill) C3: 9-2 (-mislynch, -convert) C4: 8-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 3 lives left C5: 7-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 2 lives left C6: 6-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 1 lives left C7: 5-1 (-lynch, -kill) -I deaded C8: 4-1 (-lynch, -kill) -Mylo D1/D2 no-Lynch C1: 12-1 C2: 11-1 (-kill) C3: 10-2 (-convert) C4: 8-2 (-mislynch, -kill) C5: 7-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 3 lives left C6: 6-2 (-lynch, -kill) -I 2 lives left C7: 5-1 (-lynch, -kill) -I 1 lives left C8: 4-1 (-lynch, -kill) -I deaded C9: 3-1 (-lynch, -kill) -Lylo So if the elim team plays optimally, we get 1 mislynch with a no-lynch, and 2 with a lynch today. In most games, when you hit an elim, you gain an extra mislynch, as you are removing voting power from the elims, however in this game, it is difficult to make them lose voting power, as a new convert can just be created. So if C4 we hit the inquisitor, but then decide that it was a thug, and lynch a villager, I believe we lose if they have used both Iron and Atium. If someone wants to double check my math/predictions, it would be appreciated...

Ok, 13 players. There will definitely be a kill tonight, with no kill either N2 or 3 for the convert. If we arnt going to have a D1 lynch, we also probably dont want a D2 lynch as the soonest there will be an elim team is D3. With D1 Lynch: C1: 12-1 C2: 10-1 (-lynch, -kill) C3: 8-2 (-lynch, convert) C4: 6-1 (-lynch, convert) C5: 4-2 (-lynch, convert) C6: 2-2 (-lynch, convert) -elim win ------------------ The inquisitor will likely use at least 1-2 spikes for conversion/fun stuff. However, if they leave 5 uncharged, that gives them 6 lives. Note: my table is done so everything under a given cycle, is how that cycle starts, meaning it is the result of the previous cycle. At the start of this cycle, there are all the players and roles, and no one has taken any actions, which is why it is like that in the table. Another Note: I normally do worst case scenario things, but if the inquisitor only charges Iron and Atium (with Iron powers), and then waits until the last couple cycles, and plants them both on a convert... I believe that is the worst case scenario, and if that happens, that may be an almost guaranteed elim win. So I'm not even going to bother looking at that scenario. So with a C1 lynch, we have to be hitting elims every cycle from C3 onward to not lose. This gives us 2-3 mis-lynches depending on how many spikes the Inquisitor uses. if they use only 1 spike, we have 2 mislynches before we lose, if they use more than 1 spike, I believe we have 3 mislynches... However, I have not factored in Atium and Iron, as they may make our mis-lynches go down. So with no lynch D1 and with a lynch D2, we get 1-2 mislynches... This is a little scary I think. Just a note, if the spike used to convert is Atium(Iron) or Iron, then any instance where we are in Lylo is an instant lose, and any where we are in Mylo is Lylo. Conclusion: I think we should lynch someone today. By lynching someone today, we get a bonus mislynch, which is about a 7.5% chance of catching the elim today. I'll put my vote on CadCom to add a bit of pressure. CadCom Edit: Um, nope, i don't like the CadCom lynch due to: inquisitor!CadCom might ask that question in thread, but being D1, this is enough to deter me from him. @Cicada- Neutral What would you do if you were an Inquisitor this game? @xinoehp512 - yet to post DrakeMarshmallow - Neutral, maybe Slight Village? I like what Drake is doing, and it is still providing info while advocating a No-Lynch. i want to give Drake a slight village read, but I think Elim!Drake would do the same thing... Stick - Neutral idk why, when skimming the thread, I keep coming back to reread Stick's post. it feels a little strange to me, but not enough to even be a gut read. Just... idk. I'd like to hear some more from Stick... Hopefully homework isn't too bad this early in the year? I hear that some schools give tons of homework right away, and some slowly ramp you up. Idk, I've always been homeschooled. : ) CadCom - Neutral, maybe Slight Village? I don't want to lynch D1, but after today, the quote above isn't much deterrence. Rathmaskal - Village Gut village read. Mostly from the rap. xD Just feels like village Rath to me. Shanerockes - Slight Village Lol, I can't even quote the Grammarly user. : P I'd have to look back on Shane's last elim game, which i think was LG52, but the attitude of "everyone should live a cycle" seems contrary (iirc) to his methodology of playing as an elim. Butt Ad Venture - Village Actually, there won't be 2 eliminators until D3 if I understand the rules correctly. I don't think Venture would say this as an elim. Also, this is paired with a mild village gut read from the tone of the post. Devotary - Neutral I always read Devotary as Neutral, and always just wait for PoE to say it is her to vote as I can never read her... But it always seems to bite me when I wait so long. Amanuensis - Village Honestly, while I might count not wanting a D1 vote against some people, I think this is totally a village!Aman thing. When village, he has had a streak of only voting on elims iirc, and a D1 vote is basically just chance, so it would be foolish to ruin that streak here. xD Oh, and being busy makes sense too. An elim could easily leave a vote on under the excuse of being busy. Sart - Village Village read for pushing a D1 lynch. @Snipexe - Yet to post For right now, I'll vote on Stick... I think she gets on before rollover... Just realized the thread has only been up 24 hours... So there is still time i think. So yes, I'll vote on Stick. _Stick_

Wow, I havent been tagged for inactivity in a while... granted, it's still the first day so... : P @Lumgol @Coop772 to charge a spike, must the inquisitor be attempting to charge it, while killing an allomancer, or does it charge regardless of role? if the inquisitor gives themself an extra life via Iron, what happens if they get lynched? Do they loose their extra life, or a spike? If the inquisitor converts no one, do they have 7 extra lives? When a player is attacked and survives, are we told they were attacked? If we are told they are attacked and survived, does the writeup differentiate between surviving via Thug VS Lurcher? Can the Lurcher just target themselves every night the entire game? Can a coinshot redirect day actions, such as Soother and Rioter actions? If the inquisitor attacked Maill, and a Tineye scanned him, would they see the Inquisitor targetting Mail, or does it only work with allomantic targets? If someone is inherantly a misting, but then is spiked with something, will a Seeker see both metals, proving they were converted? Similarly, if the inquisitor spikes themselves twice or more, will all of those spikes show up on the scan? Can a smoker smoke 1 person total, or 1 person and/or themselves? Can a smoker be redirected by a coinshot? If an inquisitor spikes their convert with Iron on the same turn that convert is atta... oh wait, no vig this game. XD

Hmm, While I admit I'm not considering this from a logical standpoint, the "The rainbow robe" is what I find most interesting. Also, it's the only non-capitalized one. While I don't think Wyrm would have this mean anything, It draws me to the choice non-the-less. Next, I don't care as much about which activities we do in our free time, but Developing our religion seems like a fun choice. I'm not voting yet, as I am thinking that it'll be easier on Wyrm if I don't spread my votes out between 2-3 posts. : )

I love the Graphic Audio versions of his books, however I haven't got White Sand yet. I'm waiting for it all to come out so I can get it at a discount. I'm also trying to save my money sooooo.... : ) Which books have you read? Which is/are your favorite and why? Who is your favorite character? Which is your favorite magic system? If you were one of the Knights Radiant, which order would you be? ... ... Don't forget there are also lots of fun things to do on the forum as well, and it's an amazing community. We have a puzzle competition team for instance, led by MetaTerminal. There are also lots of games to play in the forum games section, and roleplaying in MBI and the Alleyverse. Then there is my personal favorite part of the forums, Sanderson Elimination. which is basically a combination of all of the above. It's basically a game of Mafia, but Sanderson themed. Currently there are 2 games with signups open, so if you are interested, feel free to head over there and sign up for a game, or read the rules. Both look quite fun. : ) I look forward to seeing you around!

Ooh, this looks fun! perhaps I should be checking this forum more often... No one else voted for a feminine appearance, so I thought instead of having to choose which of the three, I'd give this one it's first vote. : )

Welcome WishiWasStormBlessed! Who is your favorite character, and why? If you had to pick any 1 magic system that you could use, which would it be? Which order of Radiant would you be? Also, don't forget to check out the community section of the forums. There is lots of fun stuff there... Speaking of which... /************************************ Beginning of advertisement ************************************/ Do you like role-playing, games, or killing you friends having fun? If you said yes to any of those things, you might like Sanderson Elimination! Sanderson Elimination(SE) is basically a game of Mafia/Werewolf, but Sanderson themed! If you are interested, there will be signups for a game opening within the next couple days, or if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. : ) /************************************ End of advertisement ************************************/ Welcome again! Welcome Cicada! Have you read both era 1 and 2, era 1, or the first book (as it is actually titled "Mistborn")?

He started with 25... I participated in... 3? 4 lynches? Something like that, and gained a total of ~13 boxings. Drake participated in almost every lynch, and only needed 15. So he likely would have had enough regardless. Beyond that, he made a deal with me were we would help the other reach the solo win should it become clear that one of us wouldn't be able to reach it. (which I hinted at in my RP). Had Drake asked, I would have given him my boxings. Soooooo... Yep. I'm pretty sure barring a Drake death, he would normally reach this point.

This was supposed to be my 1000th post... However I was planning originally to do more than just collect my previous articles... But dysgraphia is rusting frustrating to work with. What I will do, is edit this periodically to add more Memoirs or edit them or such. That way, instead of having a lot of work at once, I can spread it over time, which will help a bit. One day, I may even write a table of contents... : P (I'll also spoil some once it starts to get longer and I figure out the best way to do that) Memoirs of an Everyday Person: Article I We must begin by asking a very straightforward question. What is the purpose of life? This is quite a simple question to answer. The purpose of life, is naturally, to live. That being said, while that does answer the question, to truly understand the answer, we must create a definition of life... Memoirs of an Everyday Person: Article IV See, each deity seems to want to push for a certain concept or concepts: Alvron - Luck/Chaos Wilson - Intelligence/Understanding Orlok - Control Meta(bard/cog)nition - Honestly I have no idea. Creation or something? Fifth Scholar - Something between Democracy and Anarchy And what about Mailliw? You can get lucky, but what does it matter if you don't realize you are lucky? You can be intelligent, but what good is that intelligence doing for you if you are bored due to said intelligence? What is the point of having control if you can't enjoy said control? The most important thing in life, is being able to use and enjoy what you are given. These are the lessons Mailliw has taught me, and now I consider it my responsibility to share my enlightenment with the rest of you. According to Socrates, the "Supreme Good" for people is the act of pursuing happiness, as happiness is the only thing we strive for for the sake of itself, and not to gain another thing. For example: You don't want to be lucky to be lucky. You want to be lucky so that [insert good thing] happens to you. You don't want control for control's sake, you want it so you can either do or not do actions you do or don't like. The only thing you will strive for, for it's own sake, is happiness. And this is what Mailliw will teach you. As well as other things that may or may not be relevant to this discussion. So join me, and together we will conquer the world! find a way for everyone to get the fullest out of their circumstances! Memoirs of an Ordinary Person: Article VII Sometimes, when you get too involved in something, you miss the obvious. Like how when you can't find your keys when they are in your purse, when you can't find your glasses as they are on your head, or can't find your phone... mid-phone call... Totally never happened to me* Anyways, in these situations, it becomes incredibly important to take a step back, and try viewing the situation from "outside eyes". Memoirs of an Ordinary Person: Article XI Now, as there is an infinite amount of space, it follows there must be an I finite amount of planets. However, as very few of these planets are inhabited, there must be a finite amount of inhabited planets. As any finite number divided by infinity is basically nothing, there must be essentially 0 people in the universe. Memoirs of an Ordinary Person: Article LXXIV How to catch Spammers: If you are reading this, you obviously didnt read the previous article where I told you to skip this one. Go back to article 1 and start the book over. Memoirs of an Everyday PersonSpren: Article DCLXVI And I look to the sky, I see a golden light. I look down, and all I see is gold. A burning light. It speaks to me in a familiar voice. I realize, what is more fun than being evil? Nothing? I'm convinced!
-
Hmm... well, I had a dagger, and was considering killing you, but I interpreted our agreement as no stabbing each other as well. (I only rechecked the wording after Joe told me you stabbed me during roleover) And yeah. Like I said above, I was ready for the game to end. : ) Edit: @Devotary of Spontaneity I thought you were an elim, but I couldnt bring myself to come to the thread and vote for you... I also never realized you died... lol Rae also fit being evil the same way Fifth did, and Elandera did in the early game.
-
Well, you didnt betray me. We did agree to help each other do this if we ever had the option xD. I admit, my PM to you last turn had 2 purposes: 1. Gauging how many boxings you had and how close the game was to ending 2. Offering you my boxings should you need it. I didnt think the game was going to last more than another cycle or 2, so I had to offer then, and I was pretty sure you had more than me. I interpreted your response as having less than 20 though xD
-
Hahaha! Congrats @DrakeMarshmallow! You didnt even need my help! Edit: There isnt much I feel like addressing in the docs. The one thing though, is I want to reiterate why I was annoyed: I was bored. From my perspective, Elandera and I were the two putting in significant effort, with Drake and Striker not far behind. That is four players out of... was it 17 at the time? Something like that. Anyways, thats really bad activity levels. So, I said some things intending to provoke the thread. Everyone ignored me. So I said it again. I was ignored again. At this point, I am 1/4 out of the people putting effort into this game. Being inactive isnt fun for you, and isnt fun for me. If you dont plan on trying to enjoy a game, i ask that you dont do things that take away from everyone else's fun. At this point in the game, I started getting bored, and feeling ignored. So I started telling people what to do. I was frustrated, and wanted the game over with asap. That got the thread talking, which I was happy with, until it started uniting against me. I wont say that the posts against me were unjustified, but under the circumstances, I hardly think they were justified either. I'm not going to cater to the inactives. I will cater to the actives. This is why, you may notice, I responded much better to Elandera and Rae (to an extent) than i did to most others. Its 1 am for me, so i hope this makes sense. Edit again: and just so you all know, I specifically asked if I could target myself with a dagger. I really wanted to be dead. I started the game with a dagger I named, "Carver of Memoiries" (a name I am mildly proud of). Towards the end, I just couldnt make myself do any more analysis. I never even realized Elandera and Devotary were dead. Exit again: I'd like to note this upvote was placed before any edits, so they arent upvoting my actual content here.
-
Rath is at least semi active in the other game, and completely inactive here. Therefore, I doubt he is an elim. As for other inactives, HH and Shqueeves look far more likely to me. Granted, HH normally plays with similar levels of activity, and Shqueeves... idk him or how he plays very well. I am kind of wondering about Araris. If people we believe to be elims tried to bus him, I'd guess he is an elim. However, only Fifth has really gone after him from a quick skim, so idk. We have 11 people left. Assuming an elim got the dagger from the black market, and we do a 3-way tie between the inactives, that's 4 deaths. That brings us down to 7. List of believed elims: Lumgol Alv/El Rae Kidpen So... we should have 1-2 elims left. Though I won't rule out having 3, just because the elims seem seriously underpowered this game. We have quite a bit of time then, so i'm not concerned who we lynch really. Shqueeves Edit: Hmm, I think I'd need to relook at Rae. I'm least confident in her alignment.
-
I'm voting myself for governor. I understand some people saw using a ledger as NAI, but the fact of the matter is, it's not. It is AI. It is AI, because: why would an elim use a ledger? To get trusted Why would an elim not use a ledger? To keep it from village hands. There are good reasons both to, and not to use the ledger. Where villagers always use the ledger. So now we are left in a 2/3 chance Bard was village. He was also one of the few people posting this game. When making lynches, it is important not only to think, "who would be good to lynch?", but also, "is this the best person to lynch?". I admit Bard was a good information lynch, but he wasnt the best lynch. Fura edit, also, both ledgers, and a dagger are gone. edit again: I'd say we take out as many inactives as possible this turn, followed by active players at the moment. When I get to a computer, I'll do the math. edit again: it would seem 2 people git specific items, and 1 person got a random item.
-
He never needed to scan Striker in the first place, or claim he had a ledger, or whatever. He could have just kept it hidden to make certain fewer of them were in circulation. I also made a big deal about how I was going to scan Bard. My next most likely target based on what I said in-thread, from what I recall, was Elandera or Rae. It is just as likely an ikyk on one of them, as it is on Bard. This is kindof what I feel like we need to do. At worst, items might go to the black market, but unless the remaining elim(s) have been active in the lynch, they are likely low on boxings.
-
My action? Um... what makes you say that? Anyone feel like claiming who attacked Devotary? The dagger in the black market was probably used to kill her, not hoarded by her I think. Edit: both to Bard and fifth, I had a real reason for suspecting fifth, and fifth didnt address it at all. However, he now seems unlikely to be an elim.
