  1. Oh my gosh, the internet would be filled to the brim with dislikespren.
  2. ^^ Happy?
  3. It would be awesome if Sanderson had a 'create an epic' competition, and winners had small background appearances in the movies.
  4. I still think having all the shards would give me the biggest potential.
  5. Um, so if atium and malatium don't act as the gateway for the power, where does the extra power come from when you compound? Does it magically open a gate to ruin/preservation when you compound with a god metal? Eg: The whole time Lord Ruler was using his atium to live longer, he was drawing the (extra) power from ruin? I assume that would have to be the case, because otherwise I don't see how any extra investiture could be obtained, to continue the compounding process. And does compounding atium draw from ruin or preservation?
  6. Ah, that would be unfortunate. I wonder how you could make use of all of that investiture, then.
  7. Could someone who can burn chromium leech off of nightblood? What would happen if one were to try? If someone who could burn steel were to swallow nightblood, could they burn him?
  8. Ah. I still think I would go with being all 16 shards. I get to meddle a bit before the personas take over completely, right?
  9. So, if i'm right, the reason compounding allows you to draw 10x the power of the metals you put in, is because in mistborn, the metals are the catalyst, not the power source. Kind of like how a hole twice as big in a bag of water will make more than twice the amount of water pour out. (Especially if the water is under high pressure.) So this is all fine for the base metals, but what about the god metals, where the metals are the power source, and not the catalyst? Does compounding work differently with god metals?
  10. I'm kind of confused, your comment, followed by Sanderson's comment seem to conflict. He doesn't seem paralysed to me. Actually, he seemed to be doing a better job than most shards. Harmony does nicely compared to when the shards were separate. Yeah, it's like you have all of these different things pulling you in all different directions, but in the end, it tends to be kind of balanced, and you can go your own way.
  11. Ok, good point. I choose Adonalsium, then. A nice combination of all 16 shards should balance out pretty evenly.
  12. Oh, I didn't know that. I mean, obviously if they took precharged crystals with them, it would be possible. (Haven't read about any hacks so far.) I thought only God metals could be burned in another planet. (But I haven't gotten far enough to find out about the other metals.) Meh, looking forward to it. I've reserved Oathbringer ^^
  13. If we're going by that limitation, then we couldn't use any investiture, (be a surgebinder mistborn, anything, because all of them need shard power, not just Elantris.) I would be a shard, for sure.
  14. And they are the coolest freaking pictures ever!
  15. I was in the library with my sister the other day, and she was taking to her friends. I said to one of them "do you like reading?" She walked out of the library that day with Steelheart. ^^
  16. Yeah, that makes alot more sense It'd be alot easier to encase them in aluminium, I guess
  17. So if you were to wear someone else's shardplate, your surges wouldn't pass as easily, like in the way of kings?
  18. I usually start with recommending Steelheart.
  19. So, according to my knowledge, shardblade is what a spren can turn into once a strong enough relationship is attained, or a spren that has died in sword form. As there are a relatively equal number of blades and plates, I was wondering if when a person dies in the same situation, they turn into shard plate.
  20. So would it be hard for an Elantrian to hold breaths, then?
  21. I love the idea of Goob being Nightblood!
  22. So, basically instead of trying to make something have two different types of investiture, it's just better to have more of one type of investiture?
  23. So, would an honour blade work, you reckon?
  24. I thought it would be like trying to awaken a dead person, (which you can do.)
  25. I would be Apathy.
