  1. The whole cosmere would be the best animated series ever. (Except for avatar the last airbender, of course.
  2. When you have a sandershelf.
  3. I think the only thing that changed was the language of the Elantrians. We find out that the dor is not only accessible with aons, but with other languages, too. It makes sense that the dor was accessed by Elantrians using a different language, then they built elantris, and the language changed.
  4. Our swords all bond with spren and become knights radiant by us commanding them with the oathes.
  5. No, don't worry. That doesn't happen. Actually, the whole cosmere is just a computer simulation for people who have their brains in jars.
  6. I was pretty confused when I read Oathbringer. Mind you, I've been confused whenever I've read sandernovels. I don't care when we have it, I'm mainly interested that we have one.
  7. Can we make a Brandon Sanderson day, or a happy cosmere day? We could make it 21-04 to commemorate the release of his first novel, Elantris, maybe.
  8. Yeah, delete that question. On another note, I wonder if another world is going to be added to the cosmere some time.
  9. It's the nature of the cosmere. You plan on overthrowing the government and you end up overthrowing God.
  10. Oh, ok. I thought it was more like this: Preservations power is sitting there, and someone burns some steel. It creates the gateway that allows them to push on metal. But, if the allomancer instead burns steel that has feruchemical investiture stored in it, preservations power thinks "Oh, I thought you wanted to push metal, but you actually want speed. Ok, here you go."
  11. None of the other God metals are regular metals. If anything, Adonalsiums God metal would be Adonalsium/Adonalsiumium
  12. But whyyyy. It doesn't make sense that allomancy and feruchemy are the only compoundable forms of investiture!! It would be nice to understand the origin of feruchemy better.
  13. No, haven't seen that. Thanks. I'll keep my opinions to myself in the future.
  14. Yeah, I know *sad face* I'll still keep the opinion that if you burn metal that's been awakened, and both the corresponding shards have power available, it allows you to compound the breath. It is my opinion, and I will keep this opinion until Sanderson fools me again.
  15. You're like a potato, a potato in a minefield. You're walking through a minefield and you step on something, and you look down in horror, but it's only a potato.
  16. Turning breath into stormlight would be cool, but not as useful as being able to turn stormlight into breath, because breath is permament.
  17. I share a hive coppermind with my fellows. Just kidding. ^^
  18. There's so many names and places in thre way of kings that I can't understand how you guys remember them all. I'll be reading a part of the story and be thinking "now I'm sure I've read about this character before. I just can't remember what they did."
  19. ontop of the giant water beasts.
  20. Ah well. Another wonderful theory down the drain.
  21. This is a theory that I have. In a thousand years, a good man can be corrupted by the shard he holds. In the same way, a good man holding a shard taints the shard with a little, tiny portion of his goodness. This isn't enough to change the intent of the shard, but if balanced, (such as harmony,) it makes it easier for the balanced god to do good things. Hoids role is to oversee the recreation of Adonalsium with shards that have been held by otherwise good people for thousands of years, so that the end result is a god who is a good man who finds it easier to do things for the benefit of people.
  22. When I had inquisitors first described to me, I imagined people impaled by 7-10 five foot long spikes. I also didn't imagine Kaladin with dark skin, just dark eyes.
  23. Nobody guessed it. Apparently after five clues, if nobody guesses it, you pass it on to the next person.
  24. Makes sense. So He basically assigns his investiture to keep doing what it was doing when he was alive.
  25. Ok, I don't know, then. I thought in dalinars visions of the past he saw more wood. That was just my (incorrect) theory.
