  1. Gladly! Tag me if you have any other questions and welcome to the Alleyverse! I'm looking forward to rp with you!
  2. Don't worry about the points. Just create your character, think about the background and who they are. The whole point part can easily be added in a second step. They are only there to have every character at about the same power level. If you need a charactersheet, there is one in the second post of the character thread, or you click the link in my signature and copy one of my characters and edit the content.
  3. Alright. That's easily possible. I'll just write the points down as well, to help you understand. At least I hope that it will help. So we've got 150 points, no need to use all of them. 100 can be spent for investiture. A Knight Radiant 1st oath is 85. If you want to start at an higher oath, that's possible as well, but I personally prefer to rp this development with my Radiants. Meaning we've got 65 left. So theoretically you've got some room for other skills like a weapon, assassination training, cooking, healing, or whatever else you'd like to have. Or you just leave that away. Every character has basic skills, like running. But if you want to be an expert climber, then you'd have to buy the skill.
  4. Don't worry about it. I'll gladly help. Do you know what kind of character you want to play? Investiture, background, maybe weaknesses?
  5. Sagitta nodded and limped over to the guard. She quickly removed the armor and raised an eyebrow at Price when he pushed the Tomahawk over. "That is a playtool fit for a child." Her foot touched the axe-like weapon. She was used to a sword about as long as she was tall, wielded with two hands, devastating because of its length and weigth. The tomahawk was short, light and intended to cut the enemy, not to smash their bones to pieces. While she donned the armor she considered to explain the fundamental difference between what she had trained with and the weapon he thought, that would be enough, but then just stayed quiet. She wrapped the man's belt around her hips and then hung the tomahawk into a leather strap that looked like it might be there for that reason. Only leather. She needed to keep in mind, that while it would help to avoid some cuts and it wasn't able to catch a part of the impact of a weapon. Returning to his side she picked up the branch again. As long as it was in one piece, she prefered it because of its range and the change to break some bones. She only needed to adapt her usual style slightly, and remember that it was a branch and no steel sword. She wasn't that trained when it came to moving quickly to get a chance to slash at your enemy. "That's the woman from earlier." She noted Zura running towards them. Running for her live. "Care to tell me, what that thing is?"
  6. =============== "My kitchen used to be in blues and whites. I' p planed to change it to a more mediteranean colour scheme for a while now. Orange and red, some broken white on the walls." Sitting down as well she sighed again. "A new kitchen is expensive, so I need to see when I can get that done. Looking at the building they will most likely have to break it down completely, so I'll probably look through, see what I can scavage and then move to our headquarters for a while." Her hands held on to each other when she imagined moving back to the headquarters. Too many ghosts there. "Maybe I can ask Althea if she still got her flat in Oasis and go there. I don't know. I'll care about that later. Once this is over." Sera appeared next for her and Zokora lifted a hand, felt her settle in her palm. She made her smile, always here, always with her. They would fina a place to sleep and then they would find a place to sleep well. =============== "On our way." Shortly afterwards two men with a strechter ran onto the roof, looked for Seom and headed over. "She is the injured one? Does she need to be restrained and you please judge how dangerous she is?"
  7. "What a mess." Shana grabbed a blanket and leaned against Ben, now that he was feeling better as well. "I looked forward to that night for weeks, and now I end up in a ruined dress in hospital." With a sigh she barely avoided Leone, when she flopped down on the couch as well. Good thing, they had a really large couch.
  8. Impressed Jessy observed how Cheh launched himself into the air, looked around. Then he started to fall. His scream surprised her, althought she knew, it shouldn't have. He'd told her, that he disliked air and flying. Quickly she created a violett glowing ball below him, slightly more than a body length above the ground. The sphere caught him, just as it had earlier, slowly dragged him towards its center. If there was someone close by, they would come now. They had to hurry. Even more than before. "Ready? I will catch you." She still gave him a chance to prepare, wished that he would simply stop screaming.
  9. Wes sat there, his face resting on his gun, doing nothing anymore. It hurt Mike, hurt him more than any blow from an enemy could. How had he missed this. Wes thought of him as his superior, he should have seen it, it was what he was supposed to do. But he was no leader. He was nothing but a fifteen year old boy, trapped in a war too huge for him to understand. "You're not a useless Underling." He insisted and sat down next to Wes, touched his shoulder. "If you insist to compare usefullness, then you are the one that had the idea with the gun, that built it, on a battlefield during a raging battle, while I vomited on the ground. I did nothing so far. I just change into animals and loose all control over my actions." Mike reached out for his shirt and pulled it up, showed Wes the spikes in his chest. Seven. And they all hurt. "Wolf. Porcupine. Squirrel. Salmon. Snake. Fox. Squid." He pointed at all of them. "And I got them, because I was stupid enough, to try to kill Ark. Because I misstook him, and thought he was someone else. And instead of questioning, why a murderer is in our training simulation I pulled a gun and tried to shoot him. And instead of killing me, that guy shoved me into an Alley, and here I am. A beautiful walking experiment. But you know what? If I had been clever, or good at the lessons, maybe someone would have had the mercy to simply kill me. But they all stayed quiet, they just let him decide. Some argued a bit, but none stopped him. Because I'm expendable. Because I'm useless." Heaving a deep breath he shook his head. Mr. Itiah had organized a healer, and GBWHIPS and stopped Ark at one point, had stopped the questions. "They assigned me to the hospital to keep track of the patients, to look for threats. They didn't care when I joined the gang. And I thought I'd found a place to stay, a place where I belong. But instead, Bella belongs to those who attack the city. I never knew, but she does." Realizing he had been talking about a lot of things, but didn't even neared the point he shook his head. "You are not useless. You are no hero, but you will be. We can be. If we don't give up. And I care. I don't want you to die. So stop saying you're useless, and rust and ruin, stop calling me sir." ====================== That's a good idea, hopefully it will work. She looked down at the state of their troops. Bad. They had no chance against that man. Wordlessly she ordered a withdrawl. Secure those in hiding, don't attack anymore. Let's wait for Aylitha's reply, then you can tell the guy where to place it. Listening to his next words, she was glad, that she had adressed a vacation. If he'd really surprised her, she had to over her daily business, had to prepare for the journey. You know that surprising me, will only complicate things. I will need to cover my eyes and hair. Wear tinted contact lenses against the sunlight, although they aren't as effective as sunglasses, I doubt I can walk around in Roshar with sunglasses on my nose. We need to prepare fitting cloths, and we'll - Althea paused, considered his words again. It wasn't like Max to hi-jack her with something like that. He knew that she had no chance to leave suddenly. Cloths aside, the Ghostbloods took up the majority of her time. That was a joke? The surprising me part? ============= "Flat. I don't own the whole house, only rented two rooms below the roof." With a sigh she leaned against the remaining balustrade, looked to see if Lord Ajax would change the way he was going. Battle aside, Deteca was probably right. If the DA stepped in, they would only accidently squash their soldiers as well. Pulling out her device she saw, that Althea had already ordered a withdrawl. "We'll focus our troops on protecting the refugees. They can do nothing about him." She informed Deteca and then laughed. All the pressure and stress finding an outlet in a loud, almost crazy sounding laugh. "I wanted to change to colour of the walls in the kitchen anyway. I suppose, this is the perfect chance right now."
  10. Anthony screamed in pain, when both Kira's knife and Marcel's tool hit him. He tried to pull away, thinking about nothing but fleeing, running away. The boss could come himself and get rid of the body, he wouldn't risk his life for it. @I think I am here. @Hope Spren =========== Sam paused, laughed when he realized who he was facing. An allomancer. And the same metal he was. If he convinced him to join, the boss would be happy, really happy. Maybe he would even promote Sam. "Would you like to join? We're always looking for strong members." Anthony screamed somewhere behind him, but he dismissed it. That man was nothing but muscle and no brain anyway.
  11. "Just wrap something around it." Sagitta told the woman and quickly looked down. She'd ripped the stiches. If she continued like this, it would never heal soon. The woman only raised an eyebrow and shook her head. Quickly she replaced the ripped stiches with new ones and Sagitta had to grip the carriage with one hand to fight the pain. She knew about pain. But still, without the heat of battle it hurt. Paling she looked over, to where Zura had run, suspected that she was still there, watched, observed. A roar pierced the sky and she looked around, couldn't see the predator. Not yet, at least. If it smelled the blood. She winced when the woman wrapped a new bandage around her leg, pulled it tight. "I'd also take a short sword, against whatever that is." Her voice slightly pressed, she talked to Price again. "I doubt I can scare that thing away with a branch." The woman stood up and Sagitta bent down to pick up the knife. A knife. She hated fighting with a knife. Close ranged, quickly ended in a brawl. Like every soldier in her unit she had a shorter side weapon, she wielded alrightish, but the knife looked like you could use it to eat, nothing more. "And preferably some armour as well." She offered the knife to Price, if only to hold it, until she had her hands free again. Besides she doubted that he would be fine with her having an actual weapon.
  12. Here are my current characters I'd like to use next Era as well. Althea, Lena, Mike and surprisingly Zokora. Apart from Althea's 4th oath I didn't add any skill worth noting. I adapted the backstory, partially changed the description to reflect on the development that happened during this Era. Partially I added some weaknesses/ strengthened some, but as that only lowers the point count, that should be no problem. I will use all of them, depends a lot on the amount of threads we end up with. There will be another character (a Radiant as well), but as the backstory isn't finished yet, I will add that one to be looked over later. Althea Lena Mike Zokora
  13. Zokora took the hand and got to her feet. Her knees felt like jelly, but she still smiled gratefully. Elsecalling two people over that distance, it was something she'd never done before. "Yes. That was my flat." She pointed downwards. "That pile of rubble there was my kitchen." Turning around she looked out over the city, to where Lord Ajax was. They could see him more clearly now, him and the six standing by his side. "I don't know what we should do now." Shaking her head she took another sweater, smiled when she that it wasn't damaged, only to turn it around and see a large hole in its back. "I'm a first oath Radiant. that guy will eat me for dinner." @AonEne @xinoehp512
  14. I think that poll is already decided
  15. "We should wait for the others to arrive." Shana suggested, moved closer to Ben. He looked better now. Exhausted, but better. "What happened? I mean, what really happened, not the version for the police?" @I think I am here.
  16. Sagitta only readied her stance, didn't even try to hit her, while scrambling away. There was no honor to do so. Instead she changed her position slightly, made sure she covered the door and the way to Price. Couldn't hurt to have the one with Entropy in your back. Zura didn't trip, although she moved fast, and only now Sagitta understood who she was facing. Probability instinct. They were the hardest on the battlefield. Entropy was destructive, but Probability usually came as a surprise. A part of her wondered if Price had watched, if he had seen her use her instinct, really use it. No jumping from ladders, this was what she knew. Fighting. This was what she had trained, where she used her instinct. Who cared if she could jump down a ladder, when she managed to survive a deadly blow? Narrow minded, as it never hurt to learn all aspects of a weapon, but she'd never needed it, her skills with the long sword, more important than extending her skills aorund her instinct. Price tests offered a nice chance to change that. Something warm ran down her leg and she grit her teeth against the pain. The stiches. Probably she had ripped them, when catching that last blow. She had to check, as soon as the danger was over.
  17. Sagiita watched Zura roll to the side, and changed her stance. The moment the woman attacked her again, she placed her feet firmly on the ground, moved the branch up again. Zura lunged again. A grim smile spread on Sagittas lips when she realized Zura's mistake. Never try the same attack twice. A lunge was quick and a lunge was dangerous as you could use your whole body mass. But you had no way to change your direction. Instead of avoiding the blow, the accepted it, let the branch crash down on Zura's back again. She aimed for the spine, maim, then kill. The impact was painful, but she reduced the force until it was easy to remain standing. Sagitta grunted in pain, but it was nothing, only a reminder of her wound. She'd been hurt worse.
  18. Sagitta sidestepped the lunge, her injured leg buckling slightly, when she had to put her weight on it. Zura's knife hit her shin and she instinctively softened the impact. It only scratched her skin while she continued the movement of the branch. Never stop moving, try to keep your momentum. Straight downwards towards Zura's back, the branch painted a beautiful arc into the air.
  19. Sagitta didn't reply again. Instead she took another step towards Zura, then lifted the branch in a high guard and attacked. She'd given her a chance. Her body moved readily through the known movements and it felt good, incredibly good. If only she had a real sword and some armor. The branch had one advantage, it wasn't as heavy as steel and so it moved almost surprisingly fast. She moved the branch in an arc, aimed for the head, the neck, trapping Zura between the attack and the carriage.
  20. Sagitta raised an eyebrow, ignored the wounded man on the ground for now. He was groaning in pain, a knife buried in his soldier. "My name is Sagitta Naris. And I want a plate armor, a real weapon and go home." She replied and took another step towards her, distributed her weight evenly between her feet. Her knees bent slightly, she held the branch in a relaxed two handed grip, a low guard allowing her to react to different attacks. "Neither of us can fulfill the other ones wishes, so either you ammend yours, or this will end now."
  21. Shana smiled when the pain vanished and smiled at Ben, her fingers curling around his. "What about you? You need to keep it, recover." She pushed some spheres to him.
  22. "Stay back, try to distract them." Sagitta told him and slowly moved around the corner of the carriage. Her steps were smooth again, all hints at limping gone. She picked up a longer branch lying around, close to the street. One end looked, like it had been gnawed on, and she took it in two hands. It was no sword, off balance and slightly too short. But it was better than nothing. She was relaxed, for the first time since she met Price she realyed completely, found calm in that quiet place she moved into while fighting. A fight was about your will, about your opponent. It was about a strong, hard will and everything else - "Intensity guide my steps." She whispered quietly. Stepping around the carriage she straightened, made sure to show off her full height. "Who are you, and what do you want?" @Lunamor
  23. "Sure." Jessy pocketed the knife. "Don't worry about falling, I will catch you."
