"But, there are laws, and judges and wise people that thought about this." Lifting a finger she indicated that there were several points coming. "One, why do we decide who lives and who dies. I don't doubt that the Voidbringers are evil, but I doubt my experience and knowledge to decide who might be saved, who not." "Two, can they be saved? That crystal influenced normal people as well. So they are human. Where is the difference between them and a normal murderer with a gun? The way they kill - but apart from that?" "And three, I somehow assumed we are the good guys, like in the movies. But if we destroy, if we kill and take law into our hands - we are just as bad as they are. We only claim to be good."

Shana tried to take as much of his weight as she could without embarressing him and then helped him down the stairs. James, she needed to talk to James, or Karger? Philosophy. Rob. A grin touched her face. Not Rob, although he would probably love that discussion. Stepping into the kitchen she offered Ben a stool and then turned to all of them, not leaving Ben's side. She smiled at his words, wiped the tears of her face. "They won't understand." She whispered. "Those without magic. They will never understand and put me in jail instead." Getting up, she offered him her hand. A warrior. She was a warrior. The thought helped, compared her to a hero, instead to a villain. He was right. She had a reason. And suddenly she wondered if a reason was enough. This was reality, no fantasy game. There were laws, processes to be followed. She wasn't allowed to decide who had to die. Nobody had the right to take another ones live. It was what society was based on. Absently minded she extended a hand towards him. "Let's go to Evelyn?"

Shana nodded, wordlessly closed her eyes. He would try. She nodded again, clung to him. "I love you Ben." She tried to say, forced her tears back. It work for a breath or two, then she gave up, started to sob quietly. He would understand. He had to. "I killed them. Humans. Voidbringers. And I would do it again. I'm a murderer. And I'm not even allowed to drive a car ."

Wita nodded. "I will need to tell them, that I won't come home." She told him earnestly. "I'm not sure, if they will let me go away. They have to look after me, but they will, when they know that I'm not alone." Her face lit up with a smile. "I am good at figuring things out. When I have the time. Or quickly. But that hurts." Her fingers touched her head, then her heart to indicate memories. "I can help." She stated simply and looked at Kira and the two men. "What about them? Do you want them to help as well?"

"Maybe." Jessy sighed. "I suspect, they used some kind of machinery to transport us to their place, most like we weren't asleep, but lost conciousness along the way." With a shrug she turned around. "Do you know how we can return to our homes?" She asked John and Alyssa directly.

Mike yelped in surprise, grabbed a stone lying around and threw it at the spren. He missed by at least two hands, and the spren rushed towards him. Fear grabbed his heart and he stared at it, was only save dby the fact, that the spren seemed slightly crazy, that it moved this way and that way, towards him, but taking different ways now and then. With a scream Mike threw himself out of its way, away from Wes or Seom, tried to lure it to him, looked for something to be used as a weapon. @Sherlock Holmes

"Don't hurt yourself." She asked him and was about to stand up, to offer him her arm, when she looked at him again. He seemed exhausted. Really exhausted. And yet he would fight, just like she did. Their battles were different, but the determination the same. He would never allow for someone to die while he could help. Shana threw her arms around his neck and buried her face in his shirt, her throat constricting, when she was reminded how close it had been. "You can't die." She told him. "You can't. Never, not like yesterday at least."

Shana smiled at him as well, only looked at him for a moment. "Evelyn is looking for you. Do you feel up to take a look at her?" She asked hesitantly, didn't want him to feel obligated. He looked exhausted.

Details of a blanket I quilted for a friend. I embroidered the symbols, the rest you can see in the pictures is a patchwork. The other side of the blanket is made of a simple darker coloured fabric and it's lining is a thick cotton, so it feels good. -
