  1. Wita nodded slowly. She touched the bracelet. "Alright." He sounded like there were many options. Other options. Wita smiled happily and continued to hum the song. "Where are the beautiful crystals?" She asked Kira, still smiling.
  2. His soft voice was nervewrecking. How he asked if she understood. As if she was a child, not able to make sense of his words. Her eyes narrowed when she realized that she was loosing again, that contrasting his words he was playing word games and he was a master. This was a battlefield where she lacked the experience to win. If she replied with a yes, she accepted him as standing above her. If she replied no, she implied that she was too stupid to grasp his words. If she fell silent she was the sulking child. "I doubt this is about understanding." She replied instead. She had been content to stay for a while, to take the time to sort herself, to find out how she wanted to go on, which kind of life she wanted to lead. But this, these expectations - he had tricked her. Had fooled her into agreeing to something she hadn't grasped, she hadn't been able to understand. How easily they spoke about punishment, about slaves. About serving. What to say next. That is was about trust? She had trusted him to keep his side, and he was, keeping it to the word. Never enter a bargain, when you don't know the circumstances. Her mother would be disappointed. Had she really forgotten that much, during her years in the camp? Sagitta realized, that she had been quiet for so long, that whatever she added would only make the situation worse. And so she kept her mouth shut, leaned back, assumed a posture, that looked relaxed. Her tense fingers spoiled the image, but it was the best she could do for now.
  3. "Tell be about the spirits." She asked him and shook her head. "I don't know a lot about them." Apart from the fact, that they didn't exist, or rather were subject of discussion. There were always those that believed in what they couldn't see. More often than not a biotic child was the reason. But the way he talked about them had her think, that he in fact believed in the spirits and as there was nothing more to do, she smiled at him curiously.
  4. Sagitta turned to him, the movement fast and carefully timed to be on the verge of threatening. Despite the last weeks, despite the fact that she was weak compared to before, she was still a tall and strong woman. She had lost a lot during the last weeks, enough that she would have to concentrate on training, on building her muscle back up to be able to fight as she had before, but the way she moved when she was preparing to fight, to defend had stayed the same. She was a soldier. Had spent years on a battlefield, She was alive because she was good. "Are you implying that I don't honor my word?" She asked him, her voice even, but hard as steel.
  5. @kenod ============ Zokora allowed herself to be pulled up to her feet, then picked up a knife she had lost when falling. The way Deteca handled the sword almost hurt her eyes and she was stabbing. A common mistake, the usual sword was a lot more effective if you slashed at your opponent. Needed less strength as well. Groaning she followed her over, felt the stormlight slowly heal her burns. Sera hummed quietly when she stretched, her eyes left the enemy. She was poised to act, ready to move at and second. @AonEne
  6. Oh, maybe I missed that. Dorry, in that case.
  7. Mike continued to yell at the beast. He moved backwards, until his back hit a wall. Bad. That was bad. To the right, nothing but an endless drop. To the left. Wes. Mike paled, stared at the huge monster. He grabbed a knife, threw it at the thing, hoped he would hit it, hit anything. "Faster." He screamed, although he knew, that Wes was shooting as fast as he could. Still he screamed, because it meant he did something. It was better than doing nothing. anything was better than doing nothing. Another knife flew. Faster. Please, faster. Die, die, die! He mentally urged the thing on. Die, just die! Just die! ============ @I think I am here. @RayOfSunshine
  8. Hello =) so we started the main plot era 4 discussion in the pm, but I figured the thread would be better. What I would like to see: whoever runs the pots is open for ideas, allowes the original plotline to be changed by the actions of the characters. I'd prefer a plot that offers fighting, for those that like to write a fight, but also is interesting for non-fighting-focused characters (like most of mine). Just so that it doesn't get lost: The current idea (and I lost track somewhere, because it got incredibly complicated with physics and whatever) was, that the world ends up out of balance and we need to find a way to sort it. Some fighting, lots of room for other characters. I'm not 100% sure if it will work, and who would be willing to run it, keep track of things. Like I said it got a tad complicated at one point, but I think we can break it down. Invo, Xino can you help and sum it up in a few lines? @Invocation @xinoehp512 If there any other ideas, we can discuss them as well of course. That's just where we stopped the discussion the last time and I figured we should bring it on the table again. Additionally I know of two side plots being planned right now. The GB plot (open for everybody) and another one, I forgot, but I'm pretty sure there was something else. Sorry for that!
  9. Zokora jumped. She aimed for Deteca to get her out of the way of the fire streaks shooting towards her. It meant she had to jump through one of them, but she just accepted it, didn't breath, only bit her teeth. Her sleeve burned away, the skin blistering. Sera hissed in fear, pressed herself again Zokora's neck whispered something she couldn't understand over the noise of the fight. She planed to shove Deteca away from the fire, out of the current danger and to keep her body between her and the flames. @AonEne @RayOfSunshine ================ Mike saw the beast turn towards him and he straightened, spit some bile to the ground, looked at Wes. "I'll distract him. Just kill that thing." Then he turned around and ran. He waved his arms widely, shouted and screamed to attract it's attention, hoped that Tels would see it, would understand what he planed. Wolf was pleased, luring the thing away from Wes and Seom was good. @I think I am here. @Truthless of Shinovar @RayOfSunshine
  10. Wita looked up when Marcel started to hum the lyrics, did something and then whatever he had in his hands pulsed, glowed softly. He continued with the lyrics and she sat on the cobbles, looked at the glowing thing. "That's different." She whispered. No metal, something else. She was quiet while he stood up, asked Kira something, but her thoughts stayed with what he had done. "Can you help?" She first looked at him, then at Kira. "Make me forget?" @I think I am here. @Hope Spren
  11. Wita was silent for a while tried to recall the lyrics. "Candy Girl..." She said and then tried to focus to remember more. Nothing. Staring at the wall she knew, that she knew the lyrics, that she could recall them, if she lessened her storing. Her eyes moved to Marcel, to the corpse. There had been no need to tap, no need, other than that she'd tried to say sorry. for screaming. Maybe it would help it. Wita was silent, then she shook her head. "Can't remember." She admitted finally, the words slightly slurred. Blankly she looked at the wall, at the stones forming a single entity. Her figure relaxed, when the memories were burried again, when her mind concentrated on other things.
  12. Agent Miller froze. He stared at the table, at the burning sheets of paper, at the cake. Cake. A sleight of hand. It had to be. Same as the papers. With some quick fingers, you could pretend to be a mage, but instead you had - quick fingers. "Magic." He stated tonelessly and continued to stare at the cake. "Magic." He repeated and then shook his head. It wasn't possible. Looking at Eiss he slightly shrugged, then turned back at the youths. "So to sum up -", his voice shook slightly, "Demons tried to kidnap your friends and you saved them with.... magic." The word tasted strange in his mouth. "I see." Without saying another word he finished his notes. He had all of it on camera. He would have to check the tapes, then he could form an opinion. "Is there anything else you would like to add?" @BookishOcelot@Lord Furret@AonEne@Eluvianii@Hope Spren
  13. Zokora cursed under her breath and then moved closer. She could finish that thing off in a minute, instead she forced herself to keep back. Instead she focused her thoughts on the blade moved some of the molecules around, sharpened the blades, hardened them. Deteca wouldn't hit, but if she did, that might help. Moving her weight to her forefeet she readied herself to jump between the two at any moment. @RayOfSunshine
  14. Wita gave in, allowed herself to be pulled against the other one's chest. It was nice to be hugged. "They never go away." She shook her head. She didn't understand. They would never go, never. They were a part of her, like two forged together to form one. They would never go away. "I can only stop thinking, then they can't grasp me." Wrapping an arm around the waist of the stranger she leaned against her, held on to her. A song. Or a story. Stories were so complicated. A song. There were some she liked, but there was the one, that was a fabulous jive. "Sugar, honey, honey. I like that song." How a song was supposed to help, she didn't really see, but thinking about it was complicated as well and so she simply stored some more, slowly calmed. Not thinking helped.
  15. Sagitta looked to formal clothed man straight in his eyes. "If you'd asked politely what we have been talking about, I might have been inclined to translate." She stated cold fury hardening her voice. She knew it wasn't the wisest thing to do, neither was it the best thing to do, but still. She had her pride, and she expected to be treated respectfully. During her years in the army she had learnt the hard way that the moment you weren't respected, you were prey. Anger at Price, simmered beneath her fury, but she kept it in check - for now. She wouldn't die here, and if they wanted to have a conflict - she would show them what she was able to do.
  16. The guard nodded and turned around, contacted someone. "They say, that you are to contact someone called Mike in Alleycity. If you want to, that is. The mission is dangerous, so if you go or not is up to you."
  17. Zokora heard the words, the conversation and it snapped her out of her dance. She graimaced, when one of the Aon's burned her arm, but still she rushed towards Deteca, let others take her place. The entrace was closed, they should be able to manage. A shadow moved over the wall and she flinched back, accepted another blow to the back, then she was through the lines. Breathing hard she stopped next to Deteca, her body tense. If Deteca died here, after everybody had heard her offer to get her out - the consequences would be worse than this war. She stayed where she was, didn't interfer. The body of the girl on the ground, Deteca's screaming, all of it told an easy story. This wasn't her fight, but she would be damned if she broke her word. She took a step to the side, made sure to leave Deteca all the room and space she needed, then she waited, oberserved. @AonEne
  18. I will miss you. I have no idea, if you'll read this or not, but thank you. I enjoyed the times we rped together a lot. And I'm bad with situations like that, so farewell and all the best for your life!
  19. Someone touched her arm, asked if she was okay. Wita continued to move for a while, then stopped, gropped for a reply. "Fire." She whispered. "That fire." her hand clung to Kira's and she heaved a sobbing breath. "They never leave me alone. They always scream." She fell silent, but stopped moving, leaned her head against a wall. "They have to go away. I want to be alone."
