Shana waved after Nym. "See you! I bet the sprend found something too heavy for them to carry!" She laughed. It was always the same with them. The would find something, realize it was heavier than a leaf and ask a Radiant to come by to pick it up. ======== Mahad circled excitedly around the coin when Lopen rushed off. He was happy to see Glint happy, happy that Shana wasn't sitting on her tree anymore. It was good to see her talking. Playfully he continued to circle around to coin, waited for Lopen to be back. @Aragorn

Lena followed his eyes to Mart, silently watched him play for a moment, her grin vanishing. "He should be growing up with a nice family. Somebodies who care for him, do his homework with him. That won't leave him behind." A rare, pensive expression on her face she took her bag, started to sort through it. "What's your body weight?" She asked him and unlocked a cupboard just outside the kitchen. She had kept her flat with her plants and animals, but had moved a part of her stash here, carefully hidden in a secret compartment. "I've got a few things that can help."

"Do you think I should come up with something?" Shana asked and considered what she might say. "I'm fine with speaking in front of others." She sighed at his tie and pointed at the dirt on her pants. "Jace bought me a dress. Beautiful, sparkly and green. I have to put it on at one point." Smiling she reached out for Rob's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. He was happy that she was still here. It made her feel warm and fuzzy, her envy at Ashlyn slowly subsiding. Maybe nothing would change. Nothing grave at least. "What do you think about turning this house into a fortress? Add some security systems, strengthen the walls. Things like that. We never known when they will attack us the next time."

"Let's eat dinner, and if nobody is here by then, we can leave a cheap mobile, so that they can follow us?" She suggested and stired the vegetables in her pan. "Do you want to aim for a peaceful Alleyzon, or do we go all in? Depending on that I'd like to check out their water supply or not." @Voidus @Silva

Temeria gave an affirmative nod. "He said something like that his time here was over, that he has to follow a different path, gave me the key to the house and " she paused, considered to mention the coin and the ring, then decided against it. They were hers. Her presents and the coin sounded powerful. She wouldn't give it away, would keep this last reminder. And if Mac had wanted to own the ring - then there had to be a reason for it. "And left."

Althea followed Corette over to the wall, blinked against the bright light when all lamps were turned on, suddenly illuminated the wall in their light. Quickly she took out her sunglasses and covered her eyes with them, inhaling a little stormlight to heal the damage the bright light had caused. It was only a little, but she'd nearly turned blind as a teen when a little and a little suddenly became a lot and it become a habit to heal her eyes immediatly. She'd chosen the sunglasses she usually wore inside, they were less dark than the ones she wore out in the sun, but they still left her standing in darkness, apart from the wall in front of her. It was a small gesture to ask Brashen to watch her back while she stepped closer, noticed Wes and then studied the paintings. There was Rig, easily to be recognized by the colourful streaks in his hair, Corette with her dagger, two groups of two people in separate places, Althea quickly counted the pictures, they were all here. Whoever had drawn this, he had known that they would come. A month ago, they had known. They had known when she hadn't even decided to descend down into the cavern. It was an eerie feeling, one that reminded her of the Alleyzon package years ago. The red heart with their names on it. Whoever had sent that, they had known. Same as this person had known. Wordlessly she stopped in front of herself, started at the white haired figure, dark cracks over her face and body. Silent dread filled her, when she took herself in, noticed the outline behind her, something, someone holding her together filling the cracks with light. Brashen. Max. In the end it was both of them. But it was something else that shook the fortresses of her mask, that made her slip for a moment, her mouth opening a little, her eyes widening before she regained control. There were two more figures standing next to her, smaller, not fully grown yet, but old enough to be called a teen judging their height. Her fingers touched them, gently brushed over the paint and then looked back at herself, saw the differences. Her uniform looked different. Not Triarchy, just someone in the middle of their hierarchy. Her face, a little older maybe? She wasn't depicted old enough that the children were hers, but judging the colours that had been used, the artist had drawn them as hers. She reached out for Max along their bond and offered him a memory of the picture to look at, in case he was training with somebody at the moment, then looked back at the original. The person was her, and at the same time, she wasn't. She was like an alternative, like a different version of herself. Someone she could have been, if she'd chosen a different path. If she'd met Max earlier. If she'd set other priorities in her life. ( @I think I am here. )

Amazed by their discovery Mahad zoomed down after Glint. A coin. Awed he landed on the ground curled his large tail around the coin, as he had seen some dragons in movies do and gently touched his nose to Glint when he flew by. "I can't lift that, not alone." He said slightly disappointed that they had to leave this beautiful coin behind. George. He heard Glint murmur and nodded. The face looked like a George.

We've done that before and I hope that Firesoul might have one or two interesting insights, but I like your other vote. I also go with: [X] Speak with the people If possible I would like to find out, how they would react to our proposal, and if our ideas really fit their needs, or if we overengineered somewhere and forgot about other parts.

Joyfully Mahad circled around Glint, happy that his friend was coming along as well and then spotted something sparkling in the grass. "Over there!" He called out, hoped that it was something beautiful he could get Glint. Or a little thing for Cup. Cup was way too shy. @Aragorn ================= Shana smiled when Ben took her hand, felt him heal the scratches on her hands. Contently she rested her head on his knees and since Ben stayed quiet she asked. "What are you talking about or was it private?" She realized that maybe she had just disturbed some boy's talk. "I don't want to disturb you, I only wanted to talk to you a little bit." Falling silent she looked up at them from her spot on the ground. Unsure how to phrase her feelings "I can keep quiet, I just nearly lost you two and, I hoped I can realize that your fine. But I can go, if that's what you prefer." @I think I am here.

Althea considered to five Fasi an infused sphere, but when the girl showed off her glowing pouches, she decided against it. "Should you run into a problem you can't take care of yourself - I'd prefer if you asked for help rather than create a situation that endangers all of us." She stated matter of factly and then turned her attention to Corette. The woman seemed annoyed. By Fasi, but also by something else. It was interesting to see - the scout leader didn't really care about her scouts. She had expected that Corette acted like that, but to have her impression confirmed was a nice bonus. As usual she made sure to hide her thoughts behind a carefully crafted neutral mask, her weight on her left leg while she waited for Corette to lead the way. "After you. I am done here for the moment." She repeated her earlier words and moved the Kalea inside its cave to her other hand. Paintings. They had been briefly mentioned earlier, but only mentioned, nothing more. What they depicted, hopefully she would see that soon.

"A Rithmatist." Brashen told Althea and waved at Sarah and Fasi from his place on her shoulder. "The one behind Sarah." He clarified and added almost as afterthought: "Tried to shoot me with one of his lines. As if that would work." He kept his voice quiet, so that only Althea could hear him and gave a slight incline of her head to indicate that she'd heard him. "You managed to catch up." Althea looked Sarah over, she seemed alright, and then turned her attention to the Rithmatist. "I agree with Corette, in this regard. I think we should introduce ourselves." She'd seen her before, but she hadn't taken the elevator down with them, so she had followed in secret. Whatever her reasons for that, now she was here and she'd have to keep an eye on her. Who knew what she was up to. @Oduim’s Chmapion @Rushu42

Something had happened, something that made Aln stay at home know. She saw the hurt in her eyes, the darkness that crossed them for a short moment. She let the topic slide though, accepted the change in topic. "Mac left me a house. So I'll just stay there, I think. With a library and lots of rooms." She shrugged. "It was a boarding house, but I don't know if I should keep it that way. I didn't even see all of it yet."

"Thank you." Temeria took the glass and drank, smiled and took a sip. The water tasted strange, a little bit too sweet. If felt soft on her tongue and she sipped again. It was good. She liked it. "I just thought, since you mentioned discovering things, that you would go outside now and then." She explained and looked around, at the books, at the stheets of paper. She'd only tried to find a way to fit into this life her sister had created, something they could do together. But there was nothing. She had no interest to spend her days sitting inside, reading books, she wanted to - she had no idea what she wanted to. The thought frightened her, just as the prospect to leave frightened her, although she tried to hide that fear for now. Suddenly the rift between them was back and it felt huge, nearly impossible to cross. She had no idea how to find some common ground, how to repair this. She had changed so much, she - she didn't belong here. "Do you live here at the guild?" She asked running out of topics to talk about, but holding on to the moment. If she left - then she was alone again.

Temeria smiled when she listened to her sister talk about the world, about uncovering secrets and finding new, interesting places. It sounded peaceful, like an easy path - if you didn't find something in one place, you simply headed to another one. Her sister's eyes lit up with joy and excitement and she looked like the sister she had lost, like the one writing nots the her brother. The joy, the light in her eyes. They were the same. Suddenly Temeria felt old, as if she had lost something, only to never regain it at all. Aln seemed so happy, like a bright light in the dark, while she herself was a murderer. "Do you have something to drink?" She asked to stop her dark thoughts and then added quickly to keep their conversation going. "Do you have an expedition of some sorts planned?" If she had, maybe she needed a guard and if she needed a guard, maybe Temeria could come along.

The Kalea turned away from them, tail twitching as it moved towards a corner of its cage, for the first time showing an obvious sign of fear. Althea turned and saw Corette walking towards them. Interesting. She lifted the cage up and lokked the tiny woman over. "Are you actively using investiture?" She asked directly, curious to see if the woman would answer at all. Corette had no way to know about the Kalea's abilities and Althea decided to keep the little one. She would catch a second one for Karin to take with her. But if Corette was actively using investiture, then this might be a hint regarding a predator. It depended on the type of Investiture Corette used. Listening to Corette adress the paintings, the urgency in her voice alerted her. Corette was arrogant, acted as if the world was her own. Urgency, alarm weren't part of her usual expressions. "Of course." She agreed calmly, as usual hiding every hint at her emotions behind a carefully crafted mask. Immediatly. It sounded bad. And incredibly interesting.

"Price won't hurt you." Sagitta told Zura quietly, when the guard in front of her moved backwards. "Despite his flaws, he's a good man." And she would stop him from hurting Zura, she had to. Whatever had happened with Zura had changed her, but she knew that the woman she'd talked to was still there. And that woman was hope. The future. They had gotten along for this short moment, had stayed together. And that was what counted. They had to try to get to know each other, had to stop the violence. Those like her needed to step out of the way, to make room for those profiting from peace. The wars were ripping their world apart, and she saw no chance to change that. If they stopped fighting, the nomads would kill them all. So maybe that was it. Find out why the nomads attack vehemently in the first place. And then maybe they could do something against that reason. Slowly she stepped over to Price side, who was standing behind the guards, who gave orders easily and clearly. he would make a fine officer, if he learned to wield a weapon good enough to look his men into the eye. "Can you make sure, that nobody hurts her?" She asked him intensely. "Claim her as your personal prisoner or something like that?"

Shana nodded. "Without my spren, I would be lost." She smiled at Nym and relaxed when she heard Jace next words. Everything was good. Apologetically she took a step towards the living room. "I'm going to Ben." She informed Nym. "You can come along, but I have to see how he is." She stepped into the living room and paused when she saw Rob there as well. The two most important people in her life in one spot, talking to each other. It was wonderful. They were a family, and Nym with her spren would fit right in. Wordlessly she waved at the two of them and then sat down on the floor in front of Ben reached up to take his hand. She didn't want to disturb them, but going away again was no option either. @Lunamor @Aragorn

"I see. Did you live in one of the other houses then? Or figure it all out on your own?" She continued to ask questions, unsure what else to do to keep the conversation going. New people. So many new people and she wasn't even able to handle the ones that lived here already. Tiredly she leaned against a wall, figured she could leave at one point soon. Mahad was floating in the door leading to the living room. As soon as Jace had given her a sign, some sign that he liked it, she could head over to Ben, sit down next to him and hope he replied. Nervously she glanced at him again and then smiled at Nym. Wasn't her fault that she was on the edge. @ShadowLord_Lith @Aragorn

"It's something like a seeker, I think?" Althea lufted another sphere watched as the Kalea reacted to it. "It reacted to me inhaling stornlight, before there are any visible effects." She explained and pointed at the animal following the sphere around. She depleted the sphere by adding a handle to the prison and picked the Kalea up. Karin's ability with DNA was impressive. Fitting, given her shape changing, but impressive none-the-less. "Let's take a look at the forest?"
