  1. Sorana finally managed to bold something using her mobile and was happy to be able to post here again.
  2. They are really cute! Especially the ruby-crowned kinglet! On a sidenote, I just realized I put on two different socks.
  3. I only salted the street so far. Now I'll make pancakes for breakfast.
  4. Just read it in the news. Glad to hear you and your family are safe!
  5. I don't like to get up and the first thing I have to do is salt the street because it's frozen over. And this is utterly unrelevant. But at least I won
  6. Althea looked over at him, unsure what to reply. The Rioting. Whatever Solce had done, the memory of these feelings was still painful, too fresh to really think about and she pushed it away. Max. She wondered how he felt about what had happened. It was one thing to kill when ordered to, another to cause the death of so many. She pushed herself up, out of chair and walked over to the fridge. Shards, she was exhausted. Emotionally, bodily, her head swam with information, she felt like she had a hard time to even understand. She needed to sleep, to work through what happened. Ordering an icetea with caffeine she leaned against a wall opposite from Max. Don't blame yourself. She quietly told him, making eye contact, feeling like she should add something, but finding no words to express it. Instead she switched back to business. Now we only have to find a way to test this, without him killing us. Get him to trust us. It will be risky, but I think we can do it. Use the link he created and his own powers. And then despite the dire situation she couldn't help herself and smiled at Max, hoping he would smile back. She liked the way his face softened when he did. Which was silly she realized a moment latter, her smile slowly vanishing. They had teamed up for this crisis, nothing more. You're a freak remember? And yet her eyes stayed with him even as she adressed Galvris. "That's what we're trying to do. Find a way to save him." Then she drank from the bottle and waited for Aurell's answer. @AdOokla @Ookla the spearman
  7. Thanks for the summary.
  8. But there are also the characters from the thieve's guild around, most of them with no investiture at all. I would prefer to have none, to maybe a small (1 year) time jump to make the start less awkward. And we simply need to trust each other to keep the op characters out of the rp/ have them die at the end of the era. Which characters count as op - that we have to discuss among ourselves.
  9. Good question.
  10. I even bought the rule book and nobody wants to play with me...
  11. For me the Alleyverse is interesting, because of Brandon's books. I like Dragon Age and Mass Effect and tons of other books, but I don't include it here, because it would defey the sense of this setting. I'm alright with SciFi as long as it's in Skyward's borders, but everything apart from that. It's hard enough to balance all of Brandon's settings. Just my own personal opinion. And I agree with @Ookla the Lurker
  12. I'm fine with ending the ear around new year's eve christmas, if we manage to conclude the plots until then. But I don't think it should be a problem.
  13. If everyone else agrees on the vampire, I'll go along with it...
  14. Althea thought about that for a while, looking at Max. They fell silent, discussing for a moment, then she pulled out a piece of parchment and a pencil. "Alright. You said you sorted through some information. We have some more questions. If you don't know the answer, please take a moment to reflect if you could imagine that the answer is here somewhere." She made a bullet point and wrote down the gist of each question while speaking loudly. "What do you know about the catsclysm of death 600 years ago? What do you know about the war of ages? What happened almost exactly 6 years ago? When did Solace kill her parents? Where does his family live originally? Did you ever meet them? Did he ever talk to you about his own childhood? If yes, what did he tell you? What do you know about our purpose? Did he store his memories somewhere here? Did his behaviour change somewhere in the last years? And how old are you?" Pushing the parchment over to Aurell she waited for her to answer.
  15. Do we really, really need a vampire? I can't help but think of a guy sparkling in the sun *runs around screaming*
  16. I support that idea.
  17. "Just a proposal, but could we discuss this in one thread? Right now we have the same discussion in several places..."
  18. 1) I completely agree with what was said about time travel. We don't need it, and it always makes things messy. 2) I am in favour of weaker characters, always was, always will be. You have a lot more chance for rp, if you need others to help you. If you can't do anything on your own. And I know this was stated several times, but in the end it depends on the player if a character is op or not. 3) I think we have more people who want to play a villain atm then those who don't want to. 4) I'm not sure if I like the idea of another world-erasing ending of era two. I can see why it might be neccessary, especially if we want to lower the powerlevel, but I'm not really happy with that at the moment. The moment some keep their characters we end up with the same situation we have now. And, only my personal opinion, the whole one calamity after the next part simply isn't appealing to me. I would prefer if we found another solution. EDIT: for got one point: 6) Lower powered characters are useless, if there are artifacts around which up their powerlevels again. It won't work if we allow all items and then create weak characters. Because we will end up with op characters again.
  19. Just finished baking some christmas cookies.
  20. I will translate it, I promise!!!
  21. Lena followed the woman upstairs and smiled when she was shown the way into a room, full of herbs and potions, spheres and ferucemical amulets. This was pure heaven. She stayed polite, nodded and listened to the explanations. The woman handed her some potions to identify and Lena had to admit, she only knew a small part of them. Poisons, that was where she a lot better. Still the woman stayed polite and thankfully Lena regocnized some of the potions they used to let people sleep and some pain-killers as well. "Come back tomorrow and I will let you know our decision." the woman finally told her and turned away to place the bottles she had handed Lena back on their shelves. Using the chance Lena stuffed some amulets in her pocket and two painkillers as well and then followed the woman down. Not really a lot of stuff, but now she knew where to go.
