Mahad slowed down, gently nudging Glint. He was supposed to have fun. We could go and search for friendly birds? There had to be some friendly birds, somewhere. ==================== “It’s supposed to take at least a week of constant practice to even come close to this stage.” Amazing, he thought she'd done something amazing. "Well, I did practice both my surges before. Sometimes I can control them better, sometimes -" Frowning she remembered her fight with Rob. "But when I'm stressed, or afraid then I can't really concentrate anymore. I let myself get distracted so easily. When I'm fighting it's one thing, then I center around my weapon, my body recalling my training. As long as everything is under control I can do alright, but only then." She admitted and smiled at him again. "This morning for example I reached a point, where nothing worked anymore." Realizing, that they were observed she waved friendly at Flid. Another new face, Doc was inviting new people all the time it seemed.

Oh. I didn't know that. Mahad flew a circle and thought about the birds. At least for a second. Maybe it was a second. We could sneak close, try to see if they lost a feather. I could distract them and you take a look? =================== Ben grinned at her and he was nothing but beautiful when he did that. His whole face lit up, his eyes shone. Shana felt her smile widen, until she was grinning as well, while he adjusted the dummy again. Less stormlight, she could do that. Inhaling was easy, and when she reached out for the finger this time, she felt elated as if she was floating. Happily she opened her hand, focused on the finger, prepared to - She stopped, forced herself to focus. The finger only the finger. A deep steadying breath, her eyes only looking at the finger, not at Ben with his slightly messy hair - focus! Concentrating she prepared herself, tried to contain her surge on the finger and only the finger and then clenched her open hand together, her mind pulverising the finger at the same time. When she walked over, looked at what she'd done she started to smile again. The finger was gone, and maybe half of the two next to him. But it was good, a lot better than before. "Almost!" She told Ben joyfully, only then noticing, that some of the others were stepping into the room as well. But they seemed to be talking to each other, so she simply waved and then kept her attention with Ben.

Mahad saw the blue birds and whirled around happily. They were beautiful. Maybe he could find a feather for Glint and have Shana pick it up later. Slowly he moved closer, searched for a nest. It was only when one of them shrieked angrily, that he zipped away hastily back to Glint. They're scary. What are they? He asked, now wary of the beautiful animals. ====================== Shana listened to his explanation and then stepped over to the dummy. Inhaling stormlight she felt it come alive inside of her. It ran through her veins, urged her onwards, pushed her to run, to train, to move. Taking a deep breath she accepted it and stayed calm, in control. It was a tool, her tool. That much she had learned already. Mentally she touched the finger of the dummy, tried to understand what it was, a finger. Unconciously she lifted her hand as well, moved and it felt so good to do something to not stand still anymore. She concentrated on the finger again. Wood, wood was easy, it broke easily. Her mind clashed down on the finger, and it felt great to use the storm inhabiting her body, to feel a part of it leave her in a rush. The finger turned it to dust and the whole hand as well. Grinning sheepishly she turned to Ben. "Sorry?" She offered and hoped he wouldn't be mad.

Just saw we'll have a basement training party in TKND soon, with everybody heading there as well.

Lena listened quietly. Seb would have crushed them, but then Seb was dead. It was easy though. She had no investiture, nor was she a scientist. They didn't need her. Her glance moved over to Alask, to Nekorb. They might be interested in them though. She stayed where she was, waited for the reactions of the others.

Amara closed her eyes, tried to not listen to them talking. They were talking to a child, they were talking about taking a life easily. Feeling sick she started to take care of the wounds of the being in front of her, but listened intently. She wanted to know what they were going to do, maybe she'd have to step in. @Chasmfiend#1 @Invocation

Mike made some notes of his, it helped him to think about everything. "Well, the greatest threat is the DA. They easily outpower us. Ghostbloods and Canton forces, with the right preparation we might have a chance. The Ghostbloods lost a large part of their army, so I don't think we need to count that in." "We have some medical supplies here, and some other useful things. I could show them to you after this meeting, so that we can get an overview over our combined ressources." "Regarding the other forces. We need a distraction and a smaller strike team. Make our target focus their forces and then hit them in an unprotected spot."

When he looked for a good place to attack first, he saw it. Gigantic, unbelievable and enormous, this was going to be the place where the first battle would be fought. -
Amara yelped in surprise when a massive snake suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Aldred talked to the gang again and only then she understood where the fear had come from. He'd already deescalated a situation yesterday, by calming everybody, she didn't quite understand why he went with fear now. Looking around she searched for signs of the other victims, taking a few steps away from the group. There, that looked like someone had crawled and was that a whimper. Looking back at the others she made two more quick steps and glimpsed around a corner. At first she thought it was a boy, but then she realized it was something different. A spirit maybe. Picking him up, she carried him back and placed him on the ground next to the one member of their group who looked a bit similar, at least to her eyes. Probably the similarities ended with the size, but then you never knew. "I'm Amara." She greeted who she thought to be some kind of spirit ( @kenod "Do you know anything about whatever he is, that might help me?" She asked while looking at the body of the little one intensely, studied the colours, the way they moved and flowed. Injured, but with some help, he could survive.

Amara had followed Algorath and the others into the feens. At one point, she'd started to keep her glance mostly to the ground. The people here were in worse shape than the richer ones. Out of habit she'd stayed close to Mutig and Jürgen and when they were attacked, she listened to Aldred talking to the kids. Reiner, he seemed to the most important one. "Why don't we trade?" She asked, spread her hands. "I look after your injured members and you let us go." Her voice was soft, soothing, but he only stared at her, misdtrust, and was that a hint of fear in his eyes? "Look, I know that her arm is hurt, and his ribs are hurting." She gestured at a scrawny girl and one of the elder boys. Reiner only barred her teeth. "Why should I trust you?" He hissed and Amara showed him her empty hands. "Could you at least tell us, where your previous victims are?" Reiner only laughed, and yet she was sure there was a hint of fear beneath his demeanor. He was covering it well and yet, there it was. As long as he was fighting his fear, he'd never trust her enough to solve this peacefully. "Crawling through the dirt. Those that can still crawl." "Last chance. Hand over the money."

Excitedly Mahad followed him. There, the tree on our left. He started to fly over, but reduced his speed, as he didn't want to scare the birds away. =========== "Division." She replied and got to her feet. She was better with Division. No need to embaress herself completely at the beginning. That could wait for a bit. Ben had been relaxed about her maths skills, but still, she didn't want him to think of her as some kind of looser. Getting to her feet she walked over to him, determined to concentrate and stay focused.

Mahad trailed after him cheerfully flying in turns, until they reached the tree. He looked around and then sank lower to a branch. Can you hear them? There has to be a flock of birds close by. They are talking. ==================== Shana nodded. "See you." Cheerfully she headed towards the training room, a happy spring to her steps. The day just got a lot better. She grabbed her bag with spheres again and then sat down, waited for Ben to arrive.

Mahad raced over to him, soaring through the sky. He stopped close to Glint whirling around him. Where to now? ============= "Sure." Shana agreed immediatly. She would need to train with Rob how to use her surges while fighting, but to improve control in general wouldn't hurt and it was Ben asking. He'd asked her. Happily she smiled at him. "We can start now. Homework can wait."

Which he coloured in a bright green. Never tried caviar, I figured it would taste like fish and I don't like fish. -
