"Do any of you two know how to wield a hammer and would teach me?" Shana hesitated, her face darkening. "No Division, I promise." @Karger @I think I am here.

Zokora nodded, but she sensed a trap here. "That would be our wish as well. Do you have something specific in mind?" She asked.

"They're dwarfs. Short people that like beer and often live in mines." Shana explained, happy that he still spoke with her. It had to mean he had meant it, when he said he wasn't angry. She grinned when she imagined them fighting Voidbringers. They would stand no chance against them. Maybe she would have to learn how to wield another weapon. Something cool. Like a morning star. "They are really brave and good fighters, just like you. They are smaller, but I like them best because they fight. They never give up. They stand together. The elves always cry and mages are strange, but the dwarves with their hammers -" Maybe she should get herself a hammer. Rob would probably train with her again, so that she could learn how to handle it. A hammer. With these glyphs, a hammer would be great. And with stormlight she could get herself a heavy one. @I think I am here.

It's alright. I respect you, and you have more experience than me, when it comes to a fight. It would be illogical to not listen to your ideas. She paused. It's been a while since anybody gave me a direct order. Years. Let's do this as partners?

I'm not your servant. I don't order you around and I would appreciate if you would stop doing it. She replied coldly, ire leaking into her voice. She was right, looking at titles he had given up a lot when he had decided to take back command of the Canton. She didn't care if Max did what he told him, and it wasn't that he was wrong. It was about respect. He could have added a please somewhere, could have phrased it as a request, not a command. A small voice wished she would have swallowed her wounded her pride, simply did what he wanted her to do, the last thing she wanted was a conflict between them. Work changing her private life again. But Devaan was a professional, she could only hope that he was able to realize this was about work. "Neo, why don't you take a look at this, maybe you have another idea." She beckoned the kid over and showed him her notes. @Minato™

Althea mentally shied away from his voice, but her face and body posture didn't change. "If it is about directions, we might need a map. Maybe the tunnels are numbered, like streets. Or it's about which direction to take, but without a starting point we could wander around endlessly." "Maybe it is coordinates? Can someone organize a map? Then we could check this theory."

Althea tried it out. "Maybe. But then we only end up with letters between a and g. And I'm not sure how to include the 0. There aren't enough 1s for later letters, or the 0 indicates, that afterwards we have to add ten to every single one." She wrote for a while. "I end up with useless letters. But I might do it wrong."

Amara looked at them again and then tightened her fingers on his fur, then walked over to the boy. She had an idea, but she felt sick by it. She could do nothing against the shadow, but against these two. Lightning a small fire she started boiling some water, threw some leaves into the pot. She had a plan. Now it only needed to work, and that meant the others had to play along. She had only one cup, so she had to do this wisely. For now it meant waiting until the tea was ready. @Turtle373 @Chasmfiend#1 @Vargo Seldon

The woman shook her head. "I've got some information about the room they let everybody in. Apart from that - nothing. I can share what I've got with you." She thought for a while. "They have massive security, cameras observing almost every place. It will be hard to get in." "I will be happy to support if I can."
-
The woman nodded. "Not even the Ghostbloods support them. I heard they send a messenger declining the company's request." She sighed. "You're right and your words are true. maybe I worry to much. The Dark Alley more or less controls their creatures. If they want to, that is. PlasmaCore is a Wildcard. We don't know if they are able to contain their creations." "But yes, you are right. Maybe it is to esrly to worry about them. Let them be eaten by the tigers." Her eyes met the one who so easily had said yes. "She is right. There is no war yet. Maybe they can avoid it. You are new to this city, aren't you?" @Silva @Truthless of Shinovar @Invocation
-
"PlasmaCore. They held this huge party a few days ago."
-
The woman noted how the words suddenly got her ghe attention of several people. "Alright, this is Alleycity we are talking about. We have the Dark Alley, TUBA, the Church, Ghostbloods, Diagramists and lots of others." She used her hands to strengthen her words. "Now a new company arrives and asks them for money. None made a commitment so far. Do you really think, they will let them take away a part of their power? That they accept a new big player as easily?" She shook her head. "I don't think so. We have managed a fragile balance, we had years of peace, years without a guild war like the Seven Day War. For me they are a danger to that, to the city, the people. They promise power, money. You know as well as I do, that they will find enough to follow their call." Pausing she gestured for another drink. "The question is, who will pay the price." @Truthless of Shinovar @Silva @Invocation
-
"Because it's wrong." The woman made a helpless gesture. "Because they might cause a second guild war."
-
The woman sighed. She'd really messed this up. She was bad at this. Really bad. Why did she have to be in this department right now. "The goal is to stop PlasmaCore. We are working on accomplishing it and like I said, I liked your approach." She made a helpless gesture. "I'm not good at this. I liked your approach, some many of your papers vanished, I figured the people might listen to you."

"If you are good, you might find out." The woman emptied her drink, but didn't leave yet.
-
The woman bit down on her lip and lifted her hands in defeat. She was surprised, but then you never knew with the independents. What next? What might me a good course to take? Failure was so close to success sometimes. She pulled out a small piece of paper on wrote something down. "I don't need the people of this city to rush to their doors and fight. There are better fitting ressources for that. I need for them to know what is happening there, what PlasmaCore is doing. I don't want them to turn on those opposing the company." Pushing the paper over to the girl she added. "If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need some help. We might be able to offer it." There was no need to tell her, that they would request some payment, everybody wanted some payment.
-
"Work against Plasma Core. Rally the people, open their eyes. Maybe add a message or two of mine as well."
-
"It seems like you might be willing to oppose Plasma Core." The woman stated, careful to talk about possibilities, and not facts. "I might be able to offer you some support."

Lizanne knelt down next to Arun and offered her a hand. "You are not alone." She tried to offer some words of comfort. It wasn't much, but she wasn't sure which words might help. On the streets she'd have robbed Arun and then left her for someone to kill her off, as a slave the masters would have taken care of it. @Blessing of Potency

The woman turned her head and looked at the young girl that had sat down next to her. She looked at her for a moment and then inclined her head in greeting, placed one of the sheets of paper on the bar next to her glass and waited for her reaction.
-
The woman nodded her thanks and paid. Then she continued to wait, her fingers idly playing with a pen.

Althea leaned against the wall close to Max and pulled out something to write. Numbers. Many numbers. Three times he'd talked about numbers and three times they were almost the same. Almost, but not quite. 4-6-8-0-9-1 4-8-6-0-9-1 5-0-1-2-4-5 8-8-9-3-4-2 7-0-7-9-4-1 4-8-6-3-2-7 3-0-2-4-1-4 9-4-6-3-8 Especially the last ones seemed like they didn't fit the rest. But Frob had been really frightened then. Maybe he had uttered nonsense in the end. She sighed, tried to concentrate, to find some calm within herself. Pondering the tapped her finger against her notebook. Coordinates? Maybe the pipes were numbered? Maybe a map could help. Or they had to turn right with the even numbers and left for the uneven ones. A number. To call someone? @Minato™ @Nohadon @Ark1002 @I think I am here.

Amara froze, stared at the woman, at the man. "Chadwick, I really hope you've got some kind of idea." Her hand touched his fur, looking for support, comfort. Slowly she reached into her bag, her hand closed around a sharp knife. She would not die here a helpless woman. "Why are you here? What are you trying to achieve?" @Turtle373 @Vargo Seldon
