Althea suppressed a sigh. That had been his chance to apologize, instead he lectured her about investiture and admitted in the same sentence that he carried an artifact he couldn't control. He could be lucky he wasn't one of hers. She could accept mistakes, especially when it was a recruit, but willingly endangering an operation was somethingelse. Accidently pointed a lense at someone. It was crap and he knew that. You didn't point a gun accidently at someone and you didn't focus on your hunger while in enemy territory and at the same time accidently pointed a lens at someone else of your team. And more importantly you didn't bring an artifact, you had no idea how to use it. "That's a bestower's lense." She told him calmly. "So you would have to think about how hungry you are and not about food." He's yours. You decide. You're his superior. "I know enough about a lense to know, that while it can get out of hand, you have to activate it conciously." She stepped towards him. Amara rolled herself to the side and the club barely hit the ground next to her. With a scream the fell down a few steps, thenmanaged to catch herself in time to see the man get attacked by Chadwick and, was that Algorath? Alask didn't notice. Her potion, if he'd drunk too much, or he hadn't looked. A woman stormed into the room and shot at the Shade and Lena sliwly got to her feet. "Listen, just leave Shade! Whatever you want to find, it isn't here, or we have no idea what it is." Alask had said he could talk with his, so there was no reason this one wouldn't understand her as well. @xinoehp512

She replied to Hellbent and then added for Max: Hellbent suspects he is far more dangerous than he appears to be. But he's yours. You have the final say.

She replied to Max and summoned Brashen as a threatening looking weapon. "Listen kid. You have two options. Reply to my questions, or to his." A gesture towards Hellbent. "Your choice what you prefer. You can't take on the three of us." Looking him up and down she inhaled some stormlight, just enough to make her skin glow faintly. "Did you influence Max or not?" Her voice was hard, sharp as steel. Let's ask him in general as well. If he used his investiture against someone in this group before. Althea carefully searched Shadesmar aswell, then returned to the room. She waited until Hellbent was back, then closed the door. "Neo. Where are you from? Why are you here?" She asked him calmly. He had been the only one here. So either this was a coincidence, or he was working against them. Or he had been stupid, but if that was the case he needed to grow up, and soon. @Minato™

If you want to, I could rewrite her character sheet, so that it fits Macs new system, with taking the oaths into account and all that. I'm not sure if she's over the cap, if I manage put her weaknesses in one place. I didn't need the points, so I have been a bit lax in that regard, and simply left things as a part of her character and not a specific weakness. (Like panicking when her mind is influenced) But like I said I don't need the plate. She has no idea how the use the blade, so I don't really care about the plate either.

So what should I do now? I'm sorry, I kind of worked towards that for one and a half eras and the situation with another rioter fighting her was too good to let slide. I never expected to end up in a scene that was as perfect as that one, tbh. But I'm fine to not use the plate, if it makes it easier. She has no idea how to use it anyway.

I was simply curious, as I don't want to stop playing a character because they evolved. Or be forced to add more weaknesses without a rped reason, if you know what I mean. And what about progress within an era? Althea spoke her next oath, and she was still calculated with the old system. Do you want to take another look at her? Edit: only now saw Nohadon's post. So of course I asked no one before the oath? Do you want me to retcon it? @Nohadon

We never really discussed how we'll handle characters that grow during an era, gain skills due to training/ a spike/ an oath/ ... Did anybody give this a thought?

Lena saw him move and his fist connected with her face, when he shoved her out of the way. The sharp parts of his fists cut her cheek open and pain exploded in her head. She stumbled to the ground and lifted a hand to her cheek, stared at the blood. He'd cut her. That was bad. @I think I am here.

Lena saw Alask throw something at the creature, something silvery and then she finally understood what it was. A shade. She could have thought of that earlier. Hastily she rushed towards the table and scooped up a handfull of the silver looking beads and threw them at him. Then she grabbed another handfull and stepped between Alask and the shade, dropped her bag into his lap. "Light green marked. A pain killer, only two sips, it's strong." @I think I am here. @xinoehp512

Althea shook her head, unable to put her suspicion into words. She knew Max, he was acting odd. "What's wrong with your stomach?" She asked him instead, but not looking at him anymore. He felt healthy, their bond hadn't changed, so she took the risk to look around. Nothing. Nobody was here, they could be hiding though. So we're back with the numbers. Thank you.

And I told him that I'm sorry, and he said he was sorry, but it's there and I think he'll never train with me again, because now he's afraid and then Ben helped with maths, but I still don't get it, and I have this test on monday and I really wanted to study, but then the thing with Rob happened and I have no idea how I can show him, that I'll never do it again, even if he uses the blades again, and Ax boyfriend was here and I tried to talk to him, but he fled as well and I'm only good to rip things apart and Ben is worried about your opinion and I'm not sure if I should worry or not and it's all a mess." @Dr. Dapper
