  1. Althea wondered what kind of shield he meant, because a shield was a lot easier than a whole plate armour, but then she simply discarded the thought. They would have to talk about fighting and tactics and all that later. For now, she had something to do. The good thing was, she knew Max coat. She loved how it looked on him, how it stressed his shoulders, and his trained figure. For a moment she was almost sorry, that she would have to change it, but there was no helping that. You couldn't wear a plate without something beneath. She remembered having washed Max gambeson and so she went with what she remembered, not too thick, not too thin, more like a think lined winter jacket. Cotton, the upper layer made out of linien, the lining out of cotton mixed with some wool. Satisfied she observed his coat change, the spren giving in surprisingly easily. So much investiture around her, there was almost no need to discuss. Everbody had a price, spren, human, everybody. Probably she'd just offered more than it had ever expected to gain. Her glow diminueshed a bit and she inhaled again, wanted to feel the storm, to power. Almost needed it. It made it so easy to go on, to forget about the memories, about her exhaustion, the fact that she'd healed more wounds in the last thirty hours, than during the last year. She knew, she would have to pay a price, but not now, not here. Here there was only the storm and the rain and the stupid monsters thinking they could invade her city. She would stop them. She would never stand down. Tilting her head to the side, she started to think about the armour. She had a vague image in her mind, they had a full set of plate armour in their cellar after all, but still, it wasn't like she'd really cared how it worked, how the single parts were fastened together. A challenege. It was a challenge to get it right, the dimensions, the fastenings. If she messed it up, the parts would either fall of Max, or sit too tight. Both cases probably lethal. Althea touched the air around Max, then decided to go with the water on his cloths. Water to metal. Easy. Metal was like water, when it was hot and water was like metal when it was cold. At least if you simplified it a lot. She started to size Max up, to judge the dimensions, he was moving, it was hard to see the details, she knew him, knew his body, but she needed a different kind of knowledge here. The storm was strong, urged her to do it, to try it out, screw the consequences. It was a challenge, it was glorious if she managed, if she used it and created a full, working plate armour - Althea stopped the thought, pulled her thoughts back, left the spren of the water alone again. The storm was strong, but she was in control. Would she bet Max life on her judging his body dimensions correctly, on guessing how a plate armour worked? No. So a shield it was. A shield was easy, almost boring. There was so much water around, she touched it, bribed the spren and there it was, an aluminum shield for Max. Disappointed she looked around, the one she had incased, stood around like a statue, the others were fighting. She wanted to do something. Lifting her hand into the air, she grabbed some of the flying monsters and changed them, soulcast their flesh into dust. There, that was better. ======================= All over the city, the toops of the Ghostbloods readied themselves, started to fight back. @RayOfSunshine
  2. I pull out my unicorn floating isle, climb on it and paddle over to the tea wagon. Nothing better than a cup of tea while swimming in a pool
  3. I'll try to get it done. EDIT: here you go
  4. Hurt Xino, heal Luna (for no other reason, than I rolled a die) AonEne - 6 Xinoehp512 - 3 Rebecca - 6 Doomstick - 6 Lunamor - 6 Shard of Thought - 6 Truthless of Shinovar - 5 Snipexe - 6 Sami - 5 Jaywalk - 5 I think I am here. - 5 Sorana - 6
  5. I realize, that Ark is trying to lean against me, mistaking me for a wall and quickly soulcast him one. Smiling I had him a glass of water. Then I draw my gun, jump into cover and start shooting everybody but my teammates.
  6. That's my best result so far. How much time do we have? 48 hours?
  7. "You're with us." I grin. I'd love to be in the same team with all of them. I like all of them so much. "What kind of spike was that?" I ask Zinc curiously. @ZincAboutIt
  8. I grab a glass, fill it with punch and drink. Delicious. "Let's attack the guys." I tell Zinc and make a vague gesture towards the others.
  9. I see that zinc has notices something and wave at her to beckon her over.
  10. *Happily takes Ene's hands and starts dancing with her* *whispers* "Let's grab two guns and ambush them. They don't expect us to do that."
  11. Zeke tried to look upstairs, to see who had talked, but Attayl quickly walked down the steps, blocked hie view. "Where did you hear about Lance?" She asked him and Zeke shrugged. "Harbor. Somewhere there. There is supposed to be a fight there tonight. I doubt the prisoners will survive." He reached out for her hand. "Come on. We need to go. You have to make sure I'll get a new place." Attayl paled and stepped back, looked at Nerin for help, then upstairs to Brillin and Alyssa. "I'm with them." She whispered. "Look for a new gang by yourself." @ZincAboutIt @I think I am here. @John Flamesinger
  12. Lena grinned, pushed the door to the forge open. Eve and Mart were there, eating. "The two of you should try to control it better. Only change an arm, or maybe a finger." She sat down at the table, close to Mart, smiled at him while he ate. It was good to see him here. She took some dessert and started eating. "So what's next?"
  13. "I ripped it apart. I didn't turn it to ash." She tried to explain. "Moved its different parts in different directions." Smiling she looked at the stones flying around him. "You are very skilled. It looks difficult."
  14. "Biotics." Jessy smiled. "There are different ways to use it. You can also move," She made a gesture and a jacket flew through the air, "Things. Or push them away from you." She didn't demonstrate the last one, mostly because she lacked a sufficient target. "And if neccessary, I can create a shield for a short while." Turning around she lifted her hair and showed him the scar where her amp had been implanted. "In short I can create small fields, manipulating gravity. That's maybe a good summary."
  15. "Dance with me?"
  16. Althea sent him the image of herself laughing in joy. She loved to soulcast on a normal day, now with the storm, the thought to create a whole plate, with ties and everything, it was difficult, daring even, but she was good. There was so much stormlight calling out for her to use it, to finally do something, that the prospect of a challenge was like a bag full of chocolate. There was soulcasting, and then there was soulcasting. Changing an object was easy, especially with that much investiture at her disposal. Changing a human body was tricky, but if you knew how, it got easy. But to soulcast a plate, something consisting out of different parts, but still seeing itself as a unit - or she had to create all the smaller parts and they had to fit perfectly together. Of course. For you or for him? She asked and inhaled again, strocked the storm inside her body, her soul. It was glorious, powerful, her home, her haven. She knew she was standing in the middle of a battle, of an invasion, felt the memories tug on her mind, the fear, the panic, the dread reaching out for her, it was too close too similar... But for now there was the storm and its glory blew the memories away, its might held her close, so close, kept her safe. She wished nobody was here, so that she could close her eyes, dance in the rain, give in to the wind, but no. She had her mask, and the mask was good. It protected her in a way the storm never could.
  17. I'm in as well.
  18. Jessy looked around for something that could easily be replaced and went with a ball. There was no sense to have a ball on a spaceship anyway. Concentrating she felt her amp grow warmer, when she pointed at the ball. Violett light formed around her fingers, shot towards the ball and ripped it apart. Dust tumbled towards the ground and she smiled. Then she chose a place as far away as possible and created a small sphere, drawing everything that wasn't nailed to the ship to its center, lufted it off the ground. "I'm not sure how to explain. But that's what I can do."
  19. I walk over and hug Ene.
  20. I jump into the rain of confetti, raise my hands above my head and try to catch as much of the confetti as possible.
  21. Impressed Jessy leaned back against a wall. For a moment she thought about what he'd done, but then she realized, that she had no way to know. "So, that's what you call earthbending?" She asked. "What else does it entail?" @I think I am here.
  22. I.am.Drunk.
