Mortal Engines was one of the worst books I've ever read. Actually. It was that bad. Maybe the movie is better.....?

A quick thing: Mods and admins and people of that sort with power don't like when people post twice in a row, double-post. They prefer the use of the edit button. Don't worry about it since this is in the intro pages, but just for future reference try to avoid it. Why wouldn't the character be legal? Anyways, half of our members aren't even active in the RP aspect of the alleyverse, so don't worry about a character. And we at TUBA are (almost) always recruiting.

TUBA's safe. GBs less so. And the DA...well don't get too close to them. Alleyverse can be cutthroat, but it mostly depends on who you're with.

Gonev's back was pressed against a wall, praying his average-ness would make everyone overlook him. That was the hope at least. Otherwise he was good as dead. Gonev couldn't fight - he'd never learnt how and defintely didn't have the muscle. He was a pickpocket. This whole "let's beat people up" stuff wasn't his forte. No. He'd much rather swipe something off a table. Being in the air in a flying hunks of metal was scary already. He didn't know the mechanics of how they were staying in the air and fully expected to plummet any moment. So he just watched. And held in his nausea. Yep. He really wasn't the right type for this heist. Of that he was certain.

One year isn't that much in the long run - in some cases it could not be enough time to completely recover. At least 2 years would probably be good.
