  1. Mejin dropped her mug. Gunshots had not been on her list of “10 things most likely to happen when I go out today.” ”Jin,” she hastily told the man who asked her name. “With a ‘j,’ not like the drink.” Then she stood up and burnt bendalloy. She didn’t plan on getting shot today.
  2. Might be fun
  3. Thanks. It’s so hard to find Hemalurgy-free cookies these days. Keep up the baking.
  4. Any cookie I can take?
  5. Mejin took a sip of her water and very nearly spat it out. Something was off about it. Stupid bartender just wants more expensive purchases. She thought. ”I think I’ll try some of that root beer,” Mejin said, placing a few coins on the table. “Smallest cup size please.”
  6. Maybe before you become an obligator there’s a required course on head-shaving. Of course, Marsh wouldn’t have taken it, but they may review it after Inquisitors are made. New steel spike eyes and all.
  7. Mistborn. Mejin thought as the man burst inside the bar. Her mother had told her to be wary of them, never trust anyone who could Soothe or Riot. She stopped filling her steel metalmind. Mejin didn’t want to risk anything while in the man’s presence. She had to be on normal speed - not a smidge below. But something about the man felt innocent and trustworthy. Like he really did mean no harm. Mejin didn’t even flinch when he sat down on the stool next to her.
  8. Mejin looked up. She hadn’t expected anyone to notice her, let alone speak. Flustered, she processed the man’s words. Drink. He had asked what she wanted to drink. ”What about a plain glass of water?” She knew she sounded simple, but she wasn’t really here to drink and she was almost scared of what could be considered a normal ingredient.
  9. Mejin knew she shouldn’t have come to the bar. She just knew it. It stank of sweat, beer, and sewage. Not quite the place for a pretty little thing like her. She scoffed. Not like she’d be called pretty today. Humidity killed Mejin’s hair. She glared at the man staring at her skirt, cautiously lifted an inch above the grimy floor. ”Just because I’m standing near you filth, doesn’t mean I have to look it,” she said and looked around. Mejin had been tipped off about a man looking for a helper in the bar, but in her rush to find him had forgotten his name. ”Classy,” she muttered under her breath. “Now any chance you had with this one is gone.” Annoyed, she swept at a stool near her hoping to clean it slightly before she sat. It stubbornly remained dirt-covered.
  10. Welcome! You’re welcome for the reputation points.
  11. Gotta just be me hoping to hard for people with brains
  12. And I almost thought you had something intelligent to say.....
  13. Hi....Stick? What type of stick are you?
  14. Hello. Welcome! No cookies from me, sorry.
  15. My method may seem cowardly, but it works: Stalk them all day wearing aluminum hat. Wait till nightfall. Attack while they’re asleep.
  16. Can I join?
  17. So this still relates to the beaver, but doesn’t answer questions. What if said beaver became Marsh’s pet? Would said beaver become Death’s assistant? Also, would said beaver also have a life span proportionate to that of HUMAN Inquisitors, or just as long? Just saying, this thread is great.
  18. Continuity problem: In either book one or two of Allow of law, I don’t have the quote, Wayne says “I only know 4 letters, and not all of them are even in my name,” or something like that, and then, in Bands of Mourning, Wax tells someone that Wayne really is a big reader. I know I have no quotes, page numbers, or even certainty of which books, but that’s something that bothered me, a lot. Possible solution: Wayne was lying to Marasi (I think that’s who he was talking to.)

    Trell is Trell?

Since I’m terrible with forums, forgive me if there’s already something on this. My Trell Suspicions (I’ve also only read Sanderson’s Mistborn world books) So when I was rereading era 1, I was trying to look at all the religions Sazed mentions to see if Trell was there. (Note: Trell as in the guy Miles Hundredlives believes in) Yes, Sazed does mention him. It’s a religion that worships the stars and night. Could it be that Trell is real? He’s written in a lot in era 2. More than any other religion Sazed preached.....
  20. You people are so friendly!!!!! My favourite of Brandon Sanderson’s book has got to be Shadows of Self, but my favorite character is Spook from Mistborn.
