“That has got to be the worst first impression I have ever had,” Mejin moved the broom away. “Who are you?”

Mejin looked to the man next to her. He had just blown up a reconstructed bar and built his own. ”Was it you?” she asked, harshly sticking the end of her broom under his chin. “Were you the one who blew it up right after I cleaned it?”

Despite the relief of not getting blown-up, Mejin was not happy. She held her broom tightly. What was the point of bombing the building anyways? It already was a mess. At least whoever owned the place could redesign. Maybe buy some new furniture. A scraping sound turned her around. A man was carving into metal. These people are interesting. She thought and turned once more to walk off. She knew she probably wouldn’t get far. There always was a reason to come back.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

You really know you’re a Sanderfan when you read 500 pages, feel accomplished, then realize you’ve got 500 pages left and are happy about it. -

I’ll see what book finds it’s way into my hands and read that once I’m finished with this one today or tomorrow. -

Only Mistborn eras 1 and 2 and half of TWOK at this point. I haven’t gotten to anything else yet. -

Every 2 sections I check. If only I hadn’t discovered 17th Shard until after I’d finished... -
Mejin turned at the sound of an explosion. Ruins now lay where she had stood not long ago. Glad I left when I did. She thought clutching her broom.

It took Mejin less time than anticipated to clear an open space from the door to opposite end of the bar. Looking at what she’d accomplished, she sighed. No saying I didn’t do my fair share Mother. She turned and exited the building for the second time that day.

When you’re unsure whether to keep reading TWOK or check on here every 5 minutes. -
I don’t ever cry the first time I read a book. If afterwards someone tells me that the book made them cry, I somehow always end up crying the next time I read it. Only with re-reads. Not sure why.

First time. I was scared Sanderson would let me down after Mistborn. So far so good.
-
Isn’t the HP one from Harry Potter in 99 seconds?
-
Finished the awful book, and now I’m reading TWOK.
-
I second this recommendation.

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas is a good even if slow. If you want something brainless to waste some time on, read Cassandra Clare. It is garbage, but it’s soppy romantic garbage. Also Echo by Pam Munoz-Ryan

I feel insulted for us all. Amazon was selling copies of Mistborn: The Final Empire for $5.76. Is it only worth that much to them!?!?! -
Decent slogan, but it has now turned me away from oatmeal raisin cookies. Sorry @edgereader!

Mejin cautiously entered the bar. It was as messy as she had remembered. Holding the broom she had brought with her, she began sweeping some broken furniture into a pile. Not to her surprise, no one glanced her way. Mejin chuckled. When her mother had told her to go clean up her mess she had told her that the results weren’t that bad. That none of it was her fault. But her mother was a decent person and so was she. And so, Mejin half-heartedly swept at the floor. She knew her task was impossible and didn’t really plan on completing it. Mejin only planned to do enough to make her mother happy. In otherwords, bring the mess away from the door. No way was she wasting bendalloy on this.

Some Mejin stuff I know it’s not much, but I’m going to keep adding to this when I have time.

This is the worst secret I’ve got: I hate Marasi. She’s always in need of moral support and attention.

Why ever would you edit your comment if you didn’t feel like it? Wouldn’t it be assumed that you did?

What a way to be tactful.
