Chaotic good... Or chaotic evil. That is the question.... But still, I'm inclined to lean village with you, especially since I consider the village to be losing at the moment with so many mislynches and two elims left.

Alright, I'll be voting on Manukos for now. I may decide on a different person sometime later in the cycle. My ability to analyse has been significantly reduced for the next couple of days, so I may end up just bandwagoning things. EDIT: Wait.. Fifth are you admitting to being Elim? Your last post is a bit confusing. I still would have thought you a well meaning, though slightly crazed villager.

I'd have to agree. An elim thug would be useful, though I'd venture to guess if they had a Mistborn, they probably wouldn't have a separate thug. Ah, I wasn't sure how much player-written write-ups were edited for accuracy. That makes sense then. I'm not sure yet who to vote on this cycle. No one so far has stood out as possible elim. Does anyone have solid arguments yet?

Are you insinuating I'm an elim thug? Granted, it doesn't look great. Someone soothed a vote on me, which I suspect could be an elim trying to frame me. Or it could be a villager who didn't think I should be lynched. If that's the case, thank you. I appreciate your effort. Also, if the write-up by CadCom can be believed, he was the one attacked by elims.

When I went to sleep, I was still one vote behind the current leader. When I woke up, I had been lynched. I didn't expect the sudden change of opinion, so I didn't see a need to defend myself.

Ela stumbled away from the angry mob which had attacked her as she slept. Everything hurt. Several ribs were cracked and she could feel one eye throbbing and swelling. Pewter. She needed pewter. Her spare vial had shattered in the attack. Step by staggering step, Ela made her way toward her hidden reserve. Too many injuries. She wouldn't last long of she didn't get more pewter. She stumbled on a loose cobblestone, and she collapsed to the ground, black filling her vision. A man standing over her. Intricate tattoos giving his face of rage an almost demonic look. His fist slamming down onto her body again and again and again as she cried and screamed in fear and pain. No one would come to save her. Ela woke with a scream, sending stabs of pain through her torso. Her face was pressed against the ashen cobbles. She pushed herself upright again, flaring the traces of remaining pewter. She was almost there. Then she could sleep. ----------------------- Well, then. Thanks for trying to kill me after I went to sleep. As for your concerns that I am elim, I'm not sure where they've come from. My posts have mostly been joking, overdramatic, or flippant. I haven't had a lot of time to real analysis because things have been crazy at work (one day off in the last 8 days, 10-12 hour shifts). I should be sleeping now, but my stupid chickens decided to be more overdramatic than I am. Because of that, I decided to play a little more loosely with my style and have a bit more fun. I expect at least one of the people who voted on me were elim, joining the bandwagon in hopes to secure another village death. I'll look at those later, but for now I need to get back to sleep. Edit: After a bit of review, I don't think the last couple of votes were elims after all. I can't quite call Itiah's vote self-preservation since many votes on them had been removed, but it was close to it. I'd just like to hear some reasoning behind the bandwagon.

Alvron (1) - Gancho Libre Itiah (3) - Araris, MightyLopen, Devotary Lopen (1) - Itiah Elandera (2) - Arraenae, Drake Rae (1) - Alvron CadCom (1) - Elandera It will be interesting to see how vote manipulation goes this cycle (if anything happens at all). This will be my last post before turnover. Hopefully I'll see you all tomorrow!

I'm leaning currently towards Burnt, but it's nothing substantial. I think I would prefer a Manukos lynch if I were to choose. As for my vote on Rath, it was mostly because I decided I'm terrible at choosing who to lynch (look at my unfortunate misguided suspicions of Doc and Jon). It was also in part because Fifth was so insistent it was Rath, I decided to see if he was right. He's had a decent track record of suspecting the right people.

Alvron (1) - Gancho Libre Itiah (1) - Araris This is a small voting pool, so I'll throw down a vote on CadCom just to draw out some more voters. @Cadmium Compounder I haven't had time yet to really analyse players, so I don't have any solid suspicions.

I say it because I don't find anyone suspicious among the active group. Otherwise I'd be all for killing one of the actives if I believed they were elim. As of now, I'll hold off on further analysis until we see how Rath flips, though based on write up, it appeared she was a pirate.

*whispers* Shhh... Nobody talk... Let's see if we can drive Steel into maddness! On a serious note, it is rather unfortunate Elbereth hasn't been able to be active. But maybe it's best not to prolong this. If I get the chance, I want to see which players have been hanging on the fringes of inactivity. Those posting just enough to stay alive, but not contributing a whole lot. I honestly feel going after the few remaining actives will just lead us to killing off a bunch of village while elims sit back and laugh without having to raise a finger.

Alright, we have only a third of our alive players placing a vote. Straw (2) - Mr Doctor, Rathmaskal Rath (2) - Fifth, Elandera Once again, I encourage others to step in and place a vote. @Walin@manukos@Snipexe@Dalinar Kholin@Straw@Sart@Burnt Spaghetti@Elbereth ---------------------- Lily wandered the hard stone corridors of the castle. She was not doing any better than her pirate comrades at finding the traitors among them, so she decided to no longer lead. Maybe someone else would have better luck. Then a smell caught her off guard. Food! Delicious food meant for a wedding so dramatically interrupted. They wouldn't the food anymore, considering the Prince was in hiding and Buttercup was so quickly killed. Lily followed her nose and found a kitchen empty of workers, but full of food. She dug in. After nearly a half hour of pigging out, she licked her fingers clean of the steak and cake, and started to make her way out when something caught her eye. She snatched a bag off the counter and went to meet up again with her comrades. "Anybody want a peanut?" she asked as she approached them. She held out the bag. "One copper penny for a taste of the best peanuts in the land!"

Here's the vote count as far as I can tell: Xinoehp - Drake Elandera - Alvron Drake - Araris, Itiah Lopen - GanchoLibre Bort - Xinoehp I was definitely being over dramatic, but it was to emphasize a point of PM safety. Especially this early in the game it can be hard to get good reads off of people. As someone said, even claiming vanilla villager to the wrong person can help the elims narrow down who does have an ability. On the flip side, if someone claims to you, take it with a grain of salt. Elims claim village every day. Uh oh! Your Gods of Luck and Chance don't seem to like me much. It's not the first time they've gone after me. I know I'm not helping my case here, but the time I was lynched on D1 I did end up being elim. However, that was because of a problematic mistake of voting on the wrong person to try to save my life, Alvron's aforementioned Gods, and a very tricky Orlok. Because I need to have a vote on someone (and I'll be sleeping during rollover), Oplen.

Thanks Burnt for your thoughts. I know some of what I said in PM was unusual, but I hope my last response helped that a bit. However, I understand not trusting anyone in PMs. Here's where I am: Walin (Bill Ted) - Don't agree with playstyle, but don't think they're elim. Manukos - Too few posts to get a good read, which at this point leaves me suspicious. Snipexe (Exetes the Wandering Artist) - Mostly village considering the giant claim hasn't been contradicted. Fifth Scholar (Plaristocrates) - Despite his madness, I'd definitely have to say village. His crazed nature about Rath and Sart seem too much to be elim. Dalinar Kholin (Reginald Canuk) - Village leaning, though with recent drop in activity . Straw (Straw) - On my suspicion list, but also going into inactivity. I may just let time run its course. Mr. Doctor (Dead Private Hobbert) - Feels honest village, though I'm starting to second guess myself and wonder if he's an elim who's really good at hiding. Sart (Grandpa Lace) - Though I've been going back and forth on this one a bit, I'm keeping them at a solid neutral. Some of the D2 lynch votes still make me wary, but the belief eliminators couldn't have rum/dagger roles seemed an honest village mistake. Elandera - Village, because I know my role. However, I haven't been playing smart and can understand others wary opinions of me. Burnt Spaghetti - Another neutral, though leaning toward village at the moment. Elbereth (Elenta) - Neutral (Max) Rathmaskal (Rath) - Slight village. Breaking that tie on the Rand/Straw debate holds a lot of weight for me in this. If you can't tell, I'm running into a bit of a problem. I'm reading pretty much everyone as village! These last two lynches have taught me I can't trust myself. So I will concede to Fifth. I really hope you're right. Rathmaskal. If they do flip elim, then we have a good amount to learn. If they flip village, we'll learn Fifth has gone completely mad.

Yes, I know there's such a thing as bussing. But tell me this, why would Rath bus Rand, breaking a tie by placing a vote on him, when there was a second option under just as much suspicion? The only thing I can think is that if Rath is elim, so is Straw.

You mean we shouldn't just tell everyone what we are? That sounds boring! But seriously, you can't trust anyone. No one. Everyone will betray you. You must think everyone else is an eliminator until there is undeniable facts proving otherwise. Don't believe anything anyone tells you. It's a lie. Except that. I'm not lying when I say everyone lies. This time at least.

I admit defeat. I am terrible at actually finding the eliminators. However, I don't feel that either Rath or Walin are good options. I agree Walin's style is unhelpful, but I don't think it's eliminator behavior. Rath has too often voted on eliminators and helped break ties on them for me to want to lynch them. For now, I'm going to place a vote on Burnt Spaghetti. I don't have any real suspicions, but would like to draw her out to comment on the current situation. @Burnt Spaghetti

Ela pulled her cloak close around her as she made her way through the mists. It wasn't as effective as a mistcloak, but the few people outside at this hour would stay clear of a dark, near-shapeless figure. She'd heard rumors of Inquisitors doing strange work in these parts at night. The Steel Ministry was next on her list of the Lord Ruler's establishments to scam. She'd already taken care of the Canton of Finance-- a rather easy task-- and the Canton of Resource. She knew the Steel Ministry would be difficult, but that was the fun of it. A wicked smile formed on her face as she thought of the thrill of scamming the obligators and Inquisitors. She would need help. She needed a very skilled crew. That's where she was headed in the misty night full of rain. To meet with a man who claimed to know the best crew in town, willing to take risks. --------------------- Hello, I'm here now. Lets do a bit of poke voting to get people here, shall we? Devotary. @Devotary of Spontaneity, do you plan on "sewing" any chaos this game?

We're down to twelve players, less than half of which have remained active. I really don't want to keep lynching actives and drive the thread into silence. On a side note, why did we consider Straw cleared after his face-off with Randuir? It's possible they staged the fight in order to secure the other one a more village placement. What were the intitial arguments against Straw?

It wasn't a near-unanimous vote. At my last count, it was 3-2, with someone apparently using a bit of rum on Fifth. That is a pretty close vote when only five people actually vote. Also, regarding the less active players, I've heard of a few at least who are posting just enough to remain technically active while not participating much in the forum itself, but staying active in things like PMs. To me that could easily be a sign of a lurking elim. It would all work much better if the others started participating a bit more, though, so we can get better reads on people. I haven't yet reviewed Sart. I've had a crazy couple of days being called into work (I work in public safety and there have been fires popping up everywhere). I had dismissed my theory on him when he said named roles wouldn't have alternate roles, but now that's been debunked I'll look into it again. That's an IKYK situation though, because it seems like an honest village mistake to make that assumption but it could have also been an elim working to lead us in the wrong direction. I lean more toward the first option because it's something that could be and was easily clarified by the GM. I have to leave my thoughts there for now, as I have to leave for work. Hopefully today is a bit less crazy and I have the chance to pop in a bit more often.

I think we may need to start looking at lynching inactives. I feel like the majority of us remaining active in the forum all lean village. Though there could be someone skillfully hiding still, I'm also concerned about getting rid of those willing to talk and leaving the game to a handful of people not participating. I didn't realize it was quite so bad until this last day with so few votes.
