  1. Oh, storms. Sorry. I was thinking about Temptation for some reason, who's dead. Still, Lum says she submitted an action to convert Rae. That wouldn't qualify for the Sooke redirect. EDIT: Ninja'd by Lum. The best way to test Alv is to have more than two options, since he'd have a 50/50 chance of being right on a guess.
  2. Lack of real analysis has been largely due to lack of time to actually sit and analyse. I've been able to follow relatively well, which is why there's been a fair amount of speculation instead. Tomorrow I should be able to sit down and actually get something written up. As for Rath, the GMs have said why Devotary would have scanned as village. We know, via CadCom, that Devotary was attacked that night but survived. We later found out she was Vodeyehi, and likely self protected. With the above explanation, it's reasonable to believe village!Rath scanned Devotary and received a village return, hence why they would be defensive of Devotary, if they really believed she was spammer. It's always a dangerous move to so staunchly defend a teammate when they're a strong lead in the lynch, as it shows definite ties afterward. All I can say is the scan I did on Rath is because I was super suspicious. The reason I told Lum last cycle my action she requested from me (to convert CadCom) had to wait is because the scan was a one-cycle only and I found it the perfect opportunity to solidify my reason for a lynch. To say the least, the result was surprising. But after some questioning, everything seems to make sense. I also don't think of anything at the moment that would conceal an alignment, so I pretty well trust the results. From what I understand, SookeSiled isn't actually a redirect. It's an action confuser. Each action will be changed to benefit the spammers and harm the village. I don't know how it would mess with Lum's conversion, but I don't think it would redirect it because no matter where it redirects, it still benefits those with that role. And this reasoning is exactly why I don't want to ignore him. He would be the perfect target for a conversion, because who would suspect the late-joined person to be the spammer? I'm still not okay with just letting CadCom die, so I'll switch my vote. Walin to Alvron. Rathmaskal (2) - Walin, MetabardnitionAlvron (3) - Adavantos, Araris, ElanderaItiah (1) - Furamirionind CadCom (3) - CadCom, Xino, Snipexe Snipexe (2) - Aranduensis Mailliw (1) - Seventh Saint
  3. Out of curiosity, why consider poking me? I think I've been posting a fairly normal amount, though possibly less substantial than some past games. Sorry for that. I just switched to a graveyard shift and am adjusting to the sleep schedule. On another note, the CadCom thing concerns me. Most of us have at least a list of people we haven't seen cleared or prove a role. In the end, it's far more beneficial to lynch a suspected elim than an almost confirmed villager. Then again, the initial post reeks of IKYK potential.
  4. That seems.... Frightening. I trust Alv as far as I can throw him. It's possible he's still a convert, not lying about his ability, so giving him free reign over the lynch seems dangerously close to possibly giving elims a second kill this turn.
  5. As you can see, I don't have any Spammer reads at the moment. Without having gone through in-depth on all of the thread, I'm mostly going based on memory (flawed though that may be) and discounting the possibilty of conversions. Because we've gotten confirmation from Xino and Lum on how Rath received the neutral conversion, I believe we can also count Rath as not being converted by the spammers as well (which really would have been a bad idea anyway), since my scan apparently occured after the Lum conversion. This is just conjecture though, because I don't know the order of the Babaji conversion. Also, I am willing to at least test Alvron's claim, as we were willing to try with other claims. Are you able to explain what that entails? For now, I'll place a vote on Walin Vote Count: Rathmaskal (1) - Seventh Saint Alvron (1) - Aranduensis Kidpen (1) - Metabardnition Araris (1) - Furamirionind Walin (1) - Elandera
  6. It's... complicated. The role definitely originates from a villager, but can work on spammers. It doesn't change alignment. Mailliw is the one I told Tiny that I'd received confirmation on the beginning of D2. That confirmation was receiving the new limited role. When I scanned Rath, it showed the role name along with the one he'd claimed. I just wanted to make sure with Mailliw that Rath was the next target and the scan wasn't shifted at all.
  7. My apologies. I misremembered your claim. I'm also interested, just in case my own scan was messed with. However, the results did confirm this role claim as well as showing me a village alignment. @Mailliw772, can you confirm if you've targeted Rath? Also, I've been thinking about Temptation. Ada, you suggested Road wasn't active enough to have submitted an action, but I'm not sure that's the case. We know they were lurking during the day turn. And I've seen plenty of people in past games submit actions even when they don't talk. I still think it's well within the plausible range.
  8. I dunno. My best guess at the moment is if Rath was targetted by SookeSiled that night, which triggered Seventh Saint's ability at that time, which I believe he said was a role that would obfuscate scans. EDIT: And Steel, I had no idea. I admittedly didn't try hard to figure it out, but I definitely woudn't have thought it was you.
  9. Rath's explanation makes a lot of sense. If Vodiyehi self-protected (which we can infer from CadCom's failed attack) then no ability would be effective against her. I initially thought that would result in a failed action, but what if it meant scans would show village? I'd still like to try verifying the claim though, which should be fairly easy. @|247|-|, do you feel comfortable sharing what your scan includes? Edit: Sorry if some of that doesn't make sense. I'm running on almost 24 hrs without more than a nap.
  10. The last time Roadwalker was evil, they leaned toward killing low/inactives. I also had a hunch that Jon's death may have been related to his vote moving. It's possible the spammers thought he had some kind of vote manip role instead.
  11. I was considering my vote for a while, but was waiting for Adavantos to explain a bit more why he thought Devotary was spammer. The thread was... difficult to keep up with, and especially difficult to keep pace with in the last 30 minutes or so. In hopes of getting things pinned down a bit better for everyone, I was the Disciple of Herowannabe claimant to Mailliw/Tiny. That role has since been revoked by GMs when Jon died, as the others I claimed to could vouch for. There were only two Disciples of Herowannabe in the game, which I learned was Jon and myself after his death. It's why when I misunderstood Mailliw's post about hearing about a few disciple roles, I needed to tell him if they had claimed Hero, it would have been a lie. It also makes me trust Rae somewhat, though not completely (as is normal, especially in a conversion game). I had claimed the role name to her, though not the function, which is what prompted the removal of her vote from me.
  12. I agree in this case, but wanted to see what was possible to fully confirm. Thanks! I fully accept that role. So unless there are Babaji conversions in play, I'll consider you village elim. My top suspect for this is Rath, but that's still flimsy. Their adamant defense of Devotary could have been the last two spammers' desperate attempt to keep both alive. However, that would have been a dangerous move if it failed, because it does leave strong connections behind.
  13. Couple notes on a quick skim of the votes. Based on Mailliw's/Tiny's ability, he probably put in an action to move Ada's vote to Alv when he placed his initial vote. Since he changed his vote to Crimsn so late, I wouldn't doubt if he didn't change his action. But that also means there are two people with a double-vote count among those who voted on Crimsn. It still helps prove Arand's claim, though I'd like to see it happen more consistently. @Seventh Saint, any suggestions as to how you can prove your role in a way that can't be mistaken for Beirst tonight?
