  1. That's fair. The better way for me to have phrased my thoughts was that I didn't find the contents of the conversation to be suspicious enough for a vote yet. It may come into play later, but as of now, it's not enough for me to want to lynch two of the more active players/RPers. Rather, the tone I picked up is something that will prompt me to keep an eye on both of you.
  2. Definitely. I have gone back and read the turn a little more closely, and I think it's just the general tone of your conversation with Striker. However, the content of the conversation is pretty NAI, so I'm settling you both back into the neutral category along with everyone else. I'll give you this one. Alv is usually enough reason alone. I think I'll place a vote on Lawrence(@Butt Ad Venture). Any other particular reason for your vote on Rath? The vote seems a little bit like you're trying to distance yourself from the main vote volley. What are your thoughts on Striker, Alv, and STINK?
  3. Nope. This is the Neverending LG. (Stranger Things Season 3 Spoilers in link)
  4. (((write-up to be added))) No one has been killed! Devotary of Spontaneity has gone insane! Player List This turn will end Saturday, October 19 at 6 p.m. PDT. Announcement: Any days turns which may or may not occur will only be 24 hours long! Please plan accordingly.
  5. This cycle has ended. The next post should be up soon.
  6. Five hours before the clandestine meeting at Frozen Moon: Clang, clang, ping. Clang, clang, ping. Marzia fell into a steady rhythm as she hammered the glowing metal plate against the anvil. The sound resonated deep within her, creating a salve for her soul. More than ever before, she needed to feel grounded - safe. The world was an unsteady place. Clang, clang, ping. Darela dead. A strange note. Unfinished blueprints. Clang, clang, ping. The plating she was working against the anvil was just a piece revealed by the schematics. It was incredible. Intricate. Beautiful. It would solidify her place as the finest armorer in the Rose Empire. Marzia shoved the metal back into the pile of red coals, then slowly worked the bellows. The coals grew brighter as a wave of heat washed over her. It would be useless without the rest of the blueprints. She would go to that meeting. Nothing would stop her from finishing that armor. --- Writing that RP took longer than expected, and now I'm running short on time. I'll try to place a vote later tonight, once I get the chance to more thoroughly read what's happened so far. Thoughts from my skimmed read: I find Striker vaguely suspicious, but I think I tend to find him suspicious no matter his alignment (I think I've tried to lynch him early in every game I've played with him ). The other people with votes currently don't seem to have warranted them, at least that I've found. They seem to be more stabs in the dark, which for D1, isn't terrible but it's also not ideal. I want to keep an eye on El, though I can't articulate why at the moment. Something seems off.
  7. (((write-up to be added))) Elbereth survived the lynch! Vote Count Rathmaskal (2) - Xinoehp512, Elbereth, Devotary Elbereth (3) - Rathmaskal Player List This turn will end Friday, October 18 at 6 p.m. PDT. Announcement: Any days turns which may or may not occur will only be 24 hours long! Please plan accordingly.
  8. This turn will end in about two hours.
  9. I'd like to at least get a majority vote before closing the cycle early. @Devotary of Spontaneity, @xinoehp512, @ILuvHats
  10. If everyone is okay with it, we can close this cycle early, ending today at 6 p.m. PDT. Are there any objections?
  11. Huh. Took me too long to realize my double post. Sorry about that. My computer froze part way through. Anyways, I'm going to remove my vote from Devotary. I'm slightly more suspicious of Striker at the moment. I believe that puts us at a tie (you're welcome, Alv), but I'm slightly suspicious of Tess, as well, so I'm okay with it.
  12. Marzia had stopped screaming after a few seconds, but only because she had lost consciousness. The sight of the body - the blood - had been too much. Her vision spun as she finally woke again. Blurry figures seemed to fly around her as she looked upward, blinking. Someone helped pull her into a chair and shoved a cup of hot tea into her hands. Marzia grasped it gratefully, breathing in the steam to help center her once again. Tea had always been her way to relax. So much blood. Bile rose into her throat as the image of the body flashed into her mind again. She took a long drink of the tea, ignoring how the liquid burned her mouth. It was enough to force the acid back down. As her nerves calmed and her mind cleared, Marzia pointedly looked in any direction but toward where the body had been. It would be a long night, for she knew sleep would not be her companion. If nothing else, she had a puzzle to solve. Blueprints had come with her letter. Outlines for the most intricate armor she'd ever seen. She craved to be the one to finish it. This would require more than a strong arm skilled with a hammer. It would need a clever mind. Of all the smithies in the Rose Empire, Marzia was the most equipped to not only complete the armor, but to make it a work of art. Marzia glanced around the room. Perhaps there was someone here... Was there another trusted with the rest of the puzzle? --- I would mostly disagree with this, as the Agents' goal is to kill the Reformed Spy. If we accidentally reveal them before we've captured the elims, then we're done. Accidentally revealing too much would be a great way to find the elims, but it should not be our only reason behind someone's lynch. It's for that reason I'm hesitant on both Striker's and Rath's lynches. On a side not, @STINK and @Devotary of Spontaneity are the only ones to have not posted yet this turn. With a lack of other options with which I'm comfortable, I'll place a stab vote (thanks Araris for the term) on Devotary. It may change once I actually give this thread a thorough read.
  13. (((write-up to be added))) Rathmaskal has been attacked, but survived! Player List This turn will end Friday, October 18 at 6 p.m. PDT.
  14. There's about an hour left in this turn. Be sure to submit your actions!
  15. It's a large portion of why I asked and didn't vote quite yet. I don't wholly suspect him of being an elim, but wondered if there was something I hadn't seen in the rules. Also, @Elbereth, in regards to your discussion with Striker and DeTess, I'm largely on the side of leaving Striker as a neutral candidate at the moment. Much like the reasoning for not voting on Rath, I don't believe Striker would make the mistake of bringing those up so casual and undeveloped ways if he were an elim.
  16. I'll get to some RP later, but I need to actually contribute something first. What makes you say this? I am, admittedly, not super well-read on the rules, but found no indication that elims wouldn't possess the Arbiter, Disgraced Striker, or Survivor roles.
  17. (((write-up to be added))) No one has been killed. No one has gone insane. Player List This turn will end Wednesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. PDT.
  18. This turn is closed! The next will be up shortly
  19. Twenty minutes to get any actions and votes in!
  20. @Elbereth, We will allow you to copy/paste the Necronomicon clue.
  21. And that's the end of the turn.
  22. One hour left! Submit your actions before it's too late!
