you know my nose is set to self destruct in this very situation right?
-
it can be thick sometimes yeah, but mostly it's pretty thin and flexible, and I oft keep it short XD
-
ahhh yeah that's a good reason for not getting into them. I don't have any particularly recommendations which I think may be able to convince you otherwise, so I'll refrain from doing so XD what else do you get up to online other than 17S? *is nosey*
-
it's a decorative mash of extrusions from my self-repair subsystem, so it can be a bunch of different things. sometimes it has colourful strands, sometimes it's threaded with glowing led hairs. mostly it's just generic boring wire tho XD
-
hehehe yeah it's always odd to see Ruffalo in other things without going green XD I've not heard of either of those films do you read any webcomics?
-
According to something from a few years ago on the forum (somewhere) I am a digital kandra embued in the beard of a robot lifeless who's been invested with various spikes (mostly thanks to being staff here) XD
-
Yeah my weekend was nice I got to spend lots of times with (internet) friends and stuff, but I also felt kinda weird at some points I think, *shrugs* it's a fond memory XD And not being into video games is totally sensible, I am not a huge gamer either, having not really played any for over a year or so XD. my Ex was super into candy-crush, she didn't do much else really >< Did you get to see any movies recently that you particularly enjoyed?
-
Awwww, see that's the problem, the wiki really needs a lot of (your ) help, so you can use it to help you out and stuff yesssss ;) do you have any favourite, unpopular, video games? like, not necessarily frowned upon but ones that you loved to play even when nobody else (you knew?) did?
-
hehe *continues random small talk* that sounds great I hope you get out to Israel again, and have a great time My week's started ok, I got some work done and read up on some friends awesome stories, my weekend was great I think... What video games have you enjoyed/played too much? (if any)
-
Ahhh ok, I hope you have fun times *sits for ten minutes trying to figure out what to ask next* have you ever used the wiki to help with your rollplaying?
-
I suspect the middle part of that was fairly ok with you? *retroactively sends you cuddleswarms to help with the other things* Oh and, with that question, where are you headed (again)?
-
Naw, given that my very existence is a logical impossibility, I think I'm ok with being asked. I do have the ability to recognise such questions as fallacy and act accordingly The most satisfying thing, hmmmmm... I think my favourite thing about it is that we get to know that we helped the people coming to look at articles.. not especially that Brandon/Peter use the wiki for things XD I do somewhat like to gloat when I/the wiki pass arbitrary milestones (like our 2500th article was made during the Bonanza, and I'm kinda approaching/chasing having made at least 50% of all the edits on the coppermind, because I have far too much time on my hands XD) Having spent my childhood watching Wallace and Gromit, I'd think you'd know my answer to that

No pets for me, I'm not really up for the responsibility, or into the whole ownership of them, and I don't really want to be killed by the various allergies I suffer. I just don't really get attached or want to interact with animals mostly. Very awkwardly ignore any such that approaches me XD

heheheh, that's a good question, I've so far not really recruited anyone, unless Coma comes back and helps more. which of course I hope they do and are hopeful that they will. The most successful (not by far) avenue has been various IRC chatrooms, where I pester and prod and eventually have built up enough encouragement that people take a plunge and give it a try. The Bonanza that ran in June was also pretty successful, with more than fifty editors joining in and more than 700 different articles edited (this is discounting the staffs contributions, who each succeeded in contributing more than everyone else combined XD). I've also had good success convincing various tumblr fanartists and people like Shroom who is great at occasional editing. (and yeah, I hid it because I felt nobody wanted to ask me anything that I could answer or something equally depressing)

Well hello there, I was curious and decided to bring this back, I hope you don't mind XD So some weird generic smalltalk questions to start the ball rolling: How's life been? Did you have a nice weekend? What's the plan for the week? Are you heading on holiday any time soon?
-
OK I thought I'd bring this back, see if anyone bites.... Apologies Haelbarde I have no answer for that
-
*cuddleswarms* for the new day. and as a slightly different kind of question, how was your weekend? (spent *cough*not wikying*cough*)
-
Is this a thing now? Alright. Hit Feather up with some Qs!
Joe ST replied to FeatherWriter's topic in AMAs
An outsiders perspective.... America is pretty terrible at times *cuddleswarms* luckily I don't think I've met any persons who I'd consider anything less than wonderful, and the problems are being brought up and maybe worked on a little more than ours at least. So I'm hopeful but yeah. What's been your fave book read in the last year or so? -
Congratulations on getting some words down here's to more progress What's been your fave movie this year? Last year?
-
hey Edge, that was a great edit you made thank you for joining in, and I hope you continue XD *uses this as another avenue to encourage Twi to start wikiying*

Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!
Joe ST replied to traceria's topic in General Discussion
Hey, watch it, mining museums rock. -
it was mainly because there were mentions of star trek at some point XD
-
so yeah, really totally I'm just lurking in here to encourage wiki-ment XD *cuddleswarms* but I shall ask you, have you ever watched Steven Universe? How about Avatar: Last Airbender and Korra?

No, I agree Delightful, you should not let yourself live your life in fear of these terrible things that could potentially happen (however rarely). Especially given that they've been so sensationalised by the media and the governments' striving for power and such in this modern world. The thing is, yeah you could live in fear all the time, or you could not, and if for some horrible reason it does happen to you, then you have to realise that it's most definitely not your fault. It is a terrible thing, but (unless you're encouraging anti-vaxers, or being intentionally hateful against some group) it's not your fault, and you couldn't have done anything to prevent it. And especially being paranoid and living in fear wouldn't have made any difference, other than being in fear and such ... *stops preaching*
