IMO this would!D be better as a user script, with the added bonus it would work everywhere
-
Yeah I believe he's said that somewhere else too. That Alloy is after Stormlight 5?
-
We've been using MSH (on the wiki) for the Secret History it's a 'more natural' acronym

naw, Zas (and some other people) have editing rights, we don't have access to the code that runs the site. That's basically only Matt Hatch (aka Theoryland/Tamrylin) has access to the code and he doesn't frequent this forum.
-
.... just so you all know the 17th Shard staff have no way of fixing or improving the Theoryland site, so Rubix can't do anything. And yes the tags/search are broken so there's not really much use trying tbh.
-
and it's only this site's posts which don't show up? I think you're missing a font because the site is using "normal 14px helvetica,arial,sans-serif"
-
what browser are you using? in chrome/windows the colons: and semicolons; are working fine.

Thanks for the suggestion. We've avoid doing this for a number of reasons. * the thing looks ugly and doesn't stop spoilers from being read by editors * some articles would literally be either nested lots or every second sentence would be in a spoiler box * the wiki has a 'this wiki spoils things' policy, which means we can write actual prose rather than just boxes of facts in spoiler tags Our current policy is to say that articles have spoilers from recent books (aka 6 months), which yeah isn't the greatest for new readers, and gets confusing when there's multiple books out (dang it Brandon you write too fast XD) Shadows of Silence spoilers:

theory [Bands Spoiler] Identity of the One-Eye Spike Man
Joe ST replied to CaptainRyan's topic in Mistborn
Marsh only has one eyespike, and went exploring the south. (Vin steals his eyespike in their fight before the end). I agree the scars are weird tho. EDIT: yeah I /forgot/ that ... though the potentially healing around his eye (when the spike was pulled) didn't get healed fully so maybe it took a while and thus was remembered for? -
I'm pretty sure our copperminds are free for anyone to use

Welcome to the forums Vaatuu I hope you enjoy the place

Fanservice and creepy behaviour. I mean, what usages did you not understand? Shirayukihime was like the opposite of gross, I don't remember any fanservice, and the bad qualities of the first prince were addressed (he seemed to consider changing himself?) my other qualms were very minor, and I absolutely loved that he apologised and asked for consent after the first kiss, I just much preferred the idea that they'd stay friends (her appearing somewhat ace/aro, him being pretty bi/pan imo). Engaged to the Unidentified wasn't really gross, from what I remember, it just fell for some obvious tropes. My qualms with GATE were just the naked elf and the somewhat creepy scenes with the child-like characters. Monster Musume is just straight up fanservice and gross I mean yeah I feel guilty just for watching it, so. Working! wasn't as bad as that, but it still was full of fanservice and creepy. The Seven Deadly Sins is a great show, I finished last night and I really enjoyed it, tho mr Dragon/Wrath please stop being a creepy ancient-kid creep you pretty much single-handedly brought the gross to your show. I'm gonna try Devil is a Part-Timer tonight as it was recommended by a friend. EDIT: since then, I've watched Space Brothers, which was a lot of fun tho I can see why it ended it got a bit boring without any space stuff happening. Yesterday I watched Seirei no Moribito which was recommended because spearwoman and it lived up to that, there were a few cool aspects but other than that it was just good. Watched the latest two eps of GATE and punching up the prince in the throneroom, I mean I guess it worked but XD EDIT again: I just watched Overlord, it's a good yes liked it lots.

I spent the holidays watching like 1 or 2 (13 ep) seasons a day, after watching a playthru of Tales of the Abyss Akagami no Shirayukihime - I really enjoyed it, tho was slightly disappointed that it turned into a love story after the kiss. It was one of the least gross animes I've ever watched in this regard. There was ever-slightly too much of him rescuing her even after she'd proved she was competent in looking after herself, and her 'romantic awakening' after the kiss was like *facepalm*. Now if in the second season she realises it's not really love just confusion then maybe? but ... anyway. it's a REALLY progressive anime other than these two points. A Letter to Momo - lovely lovely lovely and saddddddd Engaged to the Unidentified - pretty standard, kinda gross fanservice as usual. it's pretty much the same as most other 'secretly supernatural beings' love stories GATE - AWESOME really looking forward to the next part, it's got a bit of gross but the story well makes up for it. I came away from it wanting more depth to everything, same as with Shirayukihime, yessss. Hikaru no Go - good stuff good stuff good stuff Monster Musume - stupidly kinda fun but also rather gross EDIT: very gross One-Punch Man - gooofy as heck, dang yeah I enjoyed this and will probably watch the next if not follow it when it releases, though there's no where near enough ladies? Plastic Memories - I watched the first ep and was destroyed, in tears thruout, daaanng the concept had me hooked and I was in deep. ;... then it turned into standard really shallow love story and was highly disappointed Sound! Euphonium - sports-anime but with band, kinda cute but nothing really special The World is Still Beautiful - no where near as progressive as Shirayukihime, aka back to normal anime junk. but the weather magics was an interesting addition, if kinda only shallowly explored. the singing was kinda lame too XD the only spot that got me was the grandmother singing goodbye, that song actually causing the wind to push them away that was the cry thing and yeah I love that idea that you'd sing a lament to someone leaving which actively helped them on their way, made me saddd. Working! - hilarious but pretty dang gross, and nothing to write home about... I was kinda appreciative that it wasn't totally ultimate gross in some of the gross tropes that it used?? I'm currently watching The Seven Deadly Sins and yeah that's pretty gross too but the story has me gripped. Probably finish off that soonish (though I'm back at work so ?). Also keeping up with Haikyuu!! and dang is it as hilarious as ever dannng I love it XD. I watched most of Aoharu x Kikanjuu and was like 'ok this is gonna be Ouran HSHC but with guns??' and it wasn't, and then Mr Gross and the whole hiding behind the crossdressing is just a nOOPE and I stalled at ep 9 because why watched the last 4 eps? I tried Owarimonogatari but the horror feel and the weird repetitive dialogue threw me before I'd got much into ep 1..

We will be fixing this up eventually, we have designed a way to keep these big spoilers from being like this but we've just not gottne around to implementing it yet.

Importing Images from the Coppermind not working?
Joe ST replied to Young Bard's topic in Tech Support
it's because the forum doesn't allow vector images, which could probably be enabled tbh. They're usually disabled because they can execute arbitrary script but maybe it can be whitelisted for just 17s and coppermind images. We're not going to rasterise the wiki's images as this stops the lossless scaling possible with the vector images.- 2 replies

Bort those are great questions XD. You may have come across my brother who was there for his first time. He has a long blond ponytail and is definitely not a geordie XD

This content should be in a subsection of the fields of rebirth imo,
-
HAH HAHAHAAH HAH you think we regularly update the featured article? HAHAHAHA but seriously, I side with ccstat on this one, spoilers are probably best kept away from the front page, except there should probably be a big banner saying we have spoilers everywhere else, but yeah, Elantris deserves some love
-
Ostrich you're welcome to come help out if you want, We know we need to update these pages, and many others, and we'll get to them eventually.
-
You do realise that much of this is already available on Brandon's website yes? If you visit the book pages for many of his books and series there are options to view cover galleries, interior art and other such things.

Is anyone working on an 'Assassination of Gavilar' page?
Joe ST replied to Young Bard's topic in The Coppermind Wiki
I originally made one called assassin in white since that was an appropriate event nam. I agree that an event is needed
