  1. "This place might be something akin to a sanctuary" James said, giving a broad gesture to the house and its grounds. "Doc, the man in charge, and one of the other Bondsmiths, takes in young Knights Radiant, so we have a safe space to grow and master our powers." He began walking deeper into the house, and gestured for Lissa to follow him. "I assume that's why your Spren lead you here, just as the rest of ours did."
  2. The Nightwatcher burst into laughter as James chuckled wryly, "It's James." He clarified, "Don't worry about it, we're all bad with names at one point or another."
  3. "It's my pleasure." He responded, already feeling at ease around the newcomer, "Can't say I've had many chances to interact with Lightweavers, the only one we had is now married and out of the house." He offered his hand, so the new girl could shake it. "I look forward to getting to know you, Lissa."
  4. So, the Three Musketeers thing. That story is the origin of the phrase "All for One and One for All" Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
  5. James overheard something of the commotion near the entryway, and arose from his stupor. "The new ones keep coming, and they don't stop coming" he said, speaking to no one in particular. He walked into the entryway, where Ed and Nym were greeting the new girl. Judging by the Cryptic, it would seem we've got a Lightweaver on our hands he thought, as he raised his hand in a static wave "Hey there, nice to meet you!" he said, enthusiastically, "Name's James Freeman, Bondsmith of the Fourth Ideal. Welcome to our humble abode" @Empress Stick
  6. Well y'all, I'm back. I may or may not have ignored all of my physical needs to read Rhythm of War in just over 24 hours

Stick that meme was well appreciated

  7. So with Rhythm of War we already have some things to feast on, and Brandon goes and gives us that 6th of Dusk sequel reading? That's like an indulgent dessert after an already 5 course meal! We don't deserve this man. In the next few days I'd imagine you'd be able to find it on Arcanum (wob.coppermind.net), after the lovely Arcanists finish their transcribing
  8. I still can't get in either Pyromancer, is that legal?
  9. It's worse than awful, it's terribad
  10. That's the same error I keep getting
  11. Indeed, from what it seems like, far from the only ones
  12. Anyone else having difficulty getting into the party? I think Brandon's site may be down
  13. Well ladies and gents, It appears as though I shall be bidding you all farewell for a time, so I can keep myself as spoiler free as possible (yes I know I read the preview chapters. Hush)

  14. Just got my link! Super hype for the party tommorow!
  15. To quote Lloyd Andrew Webber's classic of musical theatre, Les Miserables:

"One day more. Another day another destiny"

I actually prefer Les Mis to most of his stuff. Phantom is definitely the best. The rest... Meh.

But don't get me started on Love Never Dies.

      I will burn something.

Honestly, I have a real sentimental attachment to Joseph and the Amazing technicolor Dreamcoat. I think it's a really nifty play, and of all the Bible stories he could have adapted, I think he chose a good one.

It is a fun one, that's for sure.

We saw a version of it that my cousin's husband starred in, and he was phenomenal.

Well, have fun living in the world of spoilers for the next little while!

  16. Another fine addition to my collection I checked my spam folder, but still haven't gotten the email with the link yet.
  17. Ah, so you've got the inside scoop I see...
  18. I preordered my copy from the BYU store, and unfortunately won't have my copy until a day or so after released. Is the swag from Tor shipping separately from the book?
  19. Y'all. It is exactly 7 Days till Rhythm of War. I cannot even with how hyped I am
