James grabbed the rest of the bags, and carried them into the house. "Hello, my friends" he said, cheerily to the crowd in the kitchen, "Now, if someone could tell me where I ought to set these down?" He asked, lightly moving the bags up, and down.
"All right" James laughed, as he pulled into the garage, and took the key out of the ignition. He got out of the car, and opened the door for Shana, "After you, milady" he said in his best high-class voice, the gravitas entirely lost due to the goofy grin on his face.
"Those look lovely" James said as he nodded his head in agreement. "What about some lilies, and daffodils?" He asked, as a bunch of the aforementioned blooms caught his eye. He gestured towards them to show Shana what he was talking about.
"We'll drink all night, and dance all day, and on the girls we'll spend our pay; and when it's gone, then we'll away to dance with Jak o' the Shadows!"- Shen an Calhar
James pushed the cart around, looking for swimming candles. Lights, this is awkward James thought, I've gone and made Shana think about something she obviously doesn't want to think about. "So Where do you think these 'swimming candles' would be Shana?" He asked, trying once more to take her mind off of her troubles. Light knows she's got enough to worry about as it is. James thought, ruefully.
