  1. Brillin nodded, ignoring the revelation that Attayl was a Seeker. there was a time to contemplate on such things and this as not it. this was the time to worry about how they were going to get out of this alive, not why someone had been hiding powers from them. Rusts, he was happy that they were in Depot 9, now he knew the directions to the train station when he left this warzone. "We have to be quick. Right now they're distracted by Mr. Party Crasher over there." There was a hint of bitterness in his voice.
  2. “Impossible,” Brillin said, shaking his head. “Mistborn don’t exist, there’s no way he’s one. Probably some circus trickery, most likely from the same place he’s learnt all his dramatics from.” Brillin pointed to a door. “We need to leave.”
  3. Doc watched as one by one, each Radiant disappeared, waking up in the real world. Even from the corners of his subconscious Rob could hear somebody shouting for him to wake up. ... But he didn’t. While others left the dream state, Rob stayed, observing his surroundings. Visualising a chair, he sat back and found himself in a simple oak seat, looking over the destruction while the black mists moved closer. It was just so peaceful, being alone, no one to disturb him.
  4. This is great I love the smirk Lance has.
  5. Wilhelm nodded, walking around the cellar, packing up the knives he’d thrown at Hellbent, all six of them. He packed the alcohol water they had distilled in a canteen, and he made sure he still had his packs of bear meat. “Let us go,” he said. “We wouldn’t want to be stuck in the forest when the sun set.”
  6. Brillin was ready to dance when all hell broke loose. A dead body, that man with his habit of crashing through windows, and suddenly a battle of Allomancy and guns. Keeping his steady ground, Brillin wrapped an arm around Attayl and gripped her shoulder. She seemed to be panicking, but for some reason transfixed on the man who was fighting. “We need to get out of here,” he said, turning towards an exit that looked near and walking ahead, his head low. He tried to lead her shine him. “They can’t do anything to you if you leave now, they won’t be able to fight you, right?”
  7. “We can make a wall,” Rob said. He gestured. “To defend against this mist.”
  8. Brillin turned at her and smiled. A dance. “Of course,” he said. He extended a hand outwards. “We’ll do the one you showed me?” He asked. That was the only one he’d knew.
  9. Since the Haunt was an incorporeal being the blasts only blasted away some chunks of Fog. Reforming them back into his titanic body, the Haunt got the messages and walked away from the PlasmaCore building.
  10. Aha! Sorry for the double post, but it has been 6 hours and I have it ready! Words are underlined. Ladies and Gentlemen, give it up for the one, the only, semi-finalist of this very competition, the Last Obligator, or, as you better know him... ARADAN YOMEEEEEN!
  11. Rob watched as the scene changed, from a bloodthirsty battle to ruins. A broken house, many dead bodies laying about. “Did we win?” He asked, not allowing any inflection in his tone to signal his worry, or his anxiety at seeing such a nightmareish sight.
  12. “I wouldn’t mind a little dance,” Brillin said, smiling, stepping ahead into where most people were dancing. He tried hard to ignore Attayl and Nerin’s talk of gangs, recognising new faces and the like, letting himself be taken away by Nerin’s soothing and the Rioting of the piano man, making Brillin happy, in the mood for dancing, cheering. It wasn’t as subtle as the Soothing so Brillin could notice its touch on his emotions, but then again, it wasn’t the piano man’s job.
  13. Edahs would not find much, he would see Alask and Lena walking through PlasmaCore, with Nekorb, and then everything eeent blurry and chaotic as the Space Marine ship approached and everyone ran everywhere, they would see Alask and Lena waiting, calling out for Nekorb, seeing someone who looked like him but eventually giving up. They would see Alask was Nekorb’s friend. Shez screamed and roared at the intrusion of his mind and as the suffocation grew he clawed at the solid ring around his neck. Eyes burning with the deepest red, Shez grabbed on the arm used to suffocate him with both hand and pulled as hard as he could, with all of his strength. If he couldn’t rip the hand off his neck he would rip the arm off of Edahs.
  14. Max saw Althea’s arm crushed before she disappeared and he stood up immediately. Are you okay? He asked. Sethramir flashed in his hands and he looked down at the sword in annoyance. Talk, it could could talk to Devaan, it had talked to Rashan, it could talk to anyone worthy, why wasn’t that him? Maybe if he’d been worthy enough that’s not word wanted to talk to him then maybe they wouldn’t be losing this battle even at a numbers advantage. Holding Sethramir in one hand Max ran towards where Vesuvius was and he tactically slid on the ice sheet toward him. Taking out the knife that was still stuck in him he gasped, and with Sethramir in one hand and the knife in the other he jumped at Vesuvius, trying to stab both at his torso.
  15. The Haunt walked over to the PlasmaCore building, tiny and insignificant. Walking ahead, the Haunt easily stood in front of it, blocking nearby surveillance and confusing scouts all around. It fully enveloped a small group of people, and a few of them did of suffocation among the swirling fog. —- Lusk saw the reply, quickly searching up the squadron name in the Ghostblood database. Sure enough, it was there, recently added by Mr. Itiah. Team of Underlings. More effective than it sounds, trust me. Bad assassins, great for intel. Lusk saw the message. A team of underlings? How could they possibly be effective as a squadron team when the main advantage with underlings was purely that there was so many of them, everyone could be replaced. But the description said to have faith in it and Lusk obliged, sighing. He was far too old for this. Looking ahead he saw a cloud monster thing cover the PlasmaCore building and he cursed. It says here you’re good for gathering information, Lusk messaged back. We’re trying out diplomacy, so don’t try infiltration yet. Just try to look around, try to see any weaknesses in the building, it’s a bit hard to see now with that thing obscuring it. We’ve got men on the roof who’ve already given us defended positions. Try to see another point of entry if we decide we need to infiltrate. He didn’t expect much of them, but what could he say? He was open to surprises. @Sorana —- Wes stayed next to Mike. He tapped a little bendalloy and he was no longer hungry.
  16. “Climbing a tree is a good idea,” Wilhelm added, standing up. “In fact, I would say we do that first, look at the land around us. But,” he pointed to himself. “I am not too experienced it’s climbing. Are any of you?”
  17. Well! Sorry for not submitting it now, I should probably have it in ~6 hours.
  18. Brillin felt his worry shimmer away but he shook his head, knowing it was Nerin this time. Not being worried didn’t make the cause of worry moot. But, at least he could relax, and they could have one last dance before he left. The whole fact Depot 9 was near the working trains had to be a message anyway. Leaving was smart. Paying the fee he entered, hearing the music and walking ahead. Again, some people eyed him and made way, but he pointedly ignored them and turned to the group. “Good music,” he noted.
  19. The knife plunged into the side of Max’s abdomen and he cursed, stepping a bit back. Seeing the shardblade and axe go towards Althea he quickly sent something over their link. Turn Beashen into a shield. Seeing Vesuvius roll to the side Max looked up and threw Sethramir. The sword cut a large rocky chunk off of the sewer ceiling and sent a large rock falling to where Max predicted Vesuvius would land.
  20. Brillin jokingly bowed in return. “Thank you. I might still come to the dance hall, this doesn’t need to end short.” He shuffled his feet. “It’s just that by tomorrow I might not be here any more.”
  21. Brillin stood still, taking in her words. So, what little bits he had heard were correct. A gang war, as well as a cult? And the man who’d jumped through the window, he’d come to tell it to them, for what reason? To warn them? Stress them out? “I’m taking the first train I can find out of here,” he said, the gravity of what was happening dawning on him. He shook the glass off of his shoes and crossed his arms, speaking with venom. “The first rusting train.” Maybe he could come back in a couple of months, when all of this blew over. When it would be safe to return and he wouldn’t be staying in a city which doubled as a battleground for the gangs.
  22. Lusk got a message. He furrowed his brow, infiltrate? They were just about to try out diplomacy, and even then, there was a squadron ready to be deployed of marines. Who are you? Lusk typed back. I don’t remember anyone named Mike. —- Wes followed after Mike, hearing Darkness announce them, the Guns n’ Ninjas. It felt a little cool to be part of a team like that. “Woah,” he said, looking up at the dark swirling fog. “That doesn’t look good.” —- The Haunt was a massive figure of fog, now taller than a skyscraper. That gave him some perks. He could hear awes and gasps as he strode forward, he of course could hover as well, but it gave a certain satisfaction to hear the thus of his own steps and crowds trying to avoid being crushed by his weight. Of course, as a being made of fog, he had no weight. However, his great size did suffocate some people with fog who were unlucky enough to get in his way. Because, surprisingly, he wasn’t attempting to kill civilians. He was walking towards that large marine ship in the distance. When he was near he grew bigger and enveloped the ship in his mass, now far taller and larger than any two skyscrapers combined. While fully enveloping the ship did not harm it in any way, it did block all view of the outside world, only being able to see thick fog. He rumbled in amusement. @Grey Knight —- Lusk watched in silence as the ship was veiled in foggy darkness. He cursed.
  23. Brillin was enjoying the dance before the man burst through the window and the entire scene regarding the Farriers, supposedly a gang, and the Scarlets, supposedly another gang. Only the Soothing was preventing him from leaving right now. He didn’t want any gang ties, especially if men bursting through windows was going to be the norm. “I don’t think I need to say I have no idea what you all are saying,” he said. He looked to the overconfident man, who’d just broken down the window. He’d seen many men like that. All the same. He shook his head. “Why are you telling us this?” He asked Lance. “We didn’t exactly ask for your opinion on the gangs.”
