  1. Aha, so they were related. Unless there happened to be two Atium Ferrings with a similar appearance to this girl, but looking at how long it had taken for Lusk to find another he doubted it. “How is she?” Lusk said, ignoring the question. “Does she use Atium for combat? Is she better at it?” A part of him was slightly excited to see how his student was doing. Well, ‘student’. He’d met her in a bar, gave her advice, then gotten into a fight while she passed out, and then they’d went their separate ways.
  2. “Oh, that tickles a bit,” Wes said, laughing slightly when Wolf licked his hand. He raised his other hand slowly, petted Wolf slightly on the head. Was he supposed to do this to his leader? He didn’t know. Wolf looked left and right and Wes pointed at a congregation of forces near the roof of the PlasmaCore building, blocked by the shields. “I think we go there, sir.”
  3. “I trust in what their description is on the Database,” Lusk said. A Council Member wouldn’t put in good word for a squadron, a squadron of underlings, no less, for no reason. “If his loyalty proves an issue, have no mistake, he will be dealt with. But until that happens, we need very blade we can get.” Lusk looked to the girl who’d offered to walk them to the teleportatium. Something about her was vaguely familiar, she seemed to have similar features to the Atium Ferring. “You, girl,” Lusk said. “You wouldn’t happen to have an Atium Ferring twin, would you?”
  4. Lusk nodded, looking to some people on computer screens. “I want you to find all the flickers that have happened so far, and I want a definitive prediction when the next one’s going to happen.” He looked to Azael. “Where exactly is this teleportarium?”
  5. “The ‘Ghostblood plan’ is how the ‘Allies’ plan’. We can’t do this on our own, unfortunately, but to answer your question, the plan...” the shields flickered and Lusk turned on the spot, looking at the live feed of AlleyCity. “Play the last five seconds of the feed back to me,” he told someone and there it was, a flicker in shield, a weakness. PlasamCore. They must have been rushing, maybe they were worried, but either way, they were making mistakes. “New plan,” Lusk said to Stormbreaker, and then turned to address the ship. “New plan! The shield flickers! I want every analyst to find out why it flickers and to see if we can prolong it! We might not even have to waste resources and bodies going through the roof, if we time this right, we could barge straight through the front door. He turned to look at Stormbreaker. “You’re squadron will be useful in this, however, they will not be alone. We’ll be sending forces from each of the allied guilds. Infiltration units.” He grimaced as he looked down at the feed. No sign of the Guns n’ Roses, they were recorded down as being good at reconnaissance. *^* Wes was stomping on ants when something large hit him by force and he was toppled out of the red haze, his emotions turning to normal as he stared down what had tackled him. It was a wolf-man, a real werewolf looking back at him. “Oh, hi sir,” Wes said, hesitantly pushing his glasses up. He smiled slightly, and then more, it was so great to see Mike again. “I killed lots of ants,” he suddenly said, wide eyed. “And Lusk messaged us, to unite with the other troops or something. Didn’t you say you had to meet a girl?”
  6. Rob’s face remained impassive, and he nodded. “Alright, then, I just wanted to let you know.” He didn’t want to get in a love triangle, like something out of a cheesy television show.
  7. Rob kept his expression neutral and shook his head. “I don’t think so. I just wanted to tell you that although we’re going to the Prom together, and it definitely sounds like fun,” he gestured to thin air. Going to Prom with someone did sound fun. He just didn’t know any dances. Storms, he’d have to learn at least something. “I don’t want to get in the way between whatever you and Flid have going on. That would create an awkward love-triangle, I’d say. He already asked me if I liked you in that way and I told him the same thing.”
  8. You got it, Max said and placed a hand on her shoulder, stepping in front. He summoned Sethramir and watched for any nearby attack. Althea constructed the cage, and he prepared to slice in half any attack that came to them. He considered asking her if she was okay again, but he knew he was worrying too much. Still, having her blinded put a knot in his stomach. @Gancho Libre
  9. Rob gestured to follow him to a more private place, a little away from the main gathering. “Do you know Flid likes you? In a way more than friends?”
  10. Lusk turned around, nodding curtly to Stormbreaker. Shadows, he was taller than Lusk remembered. “Terrible. I used to think old age peace until I realised I live in the danger capital of the universe. How about you?”
  11. Rob looked around, watching as another girl was asked out to dance an Ben was super exhausted and how Leona was handing out cakes. “Hey Leona,” Rob said, accepting a slice of cake. “Can I talk to you for a second?” @BookishOcelot
  12. Permission Granted. Lusk messaged back and he saw how the squad of Blood Angels were attacked by the spren. "I'm sorry," he said to Azrael. An idea sprung to Lusk.\ "Spren are trapped in gemstones. You need to lure them in with something they want to trap them. Right now, those red spren want to kill any enemy of PlasmaCore. So we have a sacrifice, lure the spren to the bait, and trap them in a gemstone, or multiple." @Grey Knight
  13. Run. And leave the Forge for this monster. But Alask knew that in a choice between his life and the old, rusted Forge, the decision was obvious. "You. Adoda or something." Alask moved away and kneeled beside Eve. "Why'd you come to the Forge? And right before this thing arrived. Do you know anything about it?" @Silva
  14. "Horses," Wilhelm repeated. "Good, we can use them for food if we need to."
  15. Ah, and at last we have come to the final rap, the finale to the tournament, the Roast of Ages. In reflection, this tournament has been great, the twists and turns of it really made that much more interesting. Sure, we had a swap of mediators but in the end, this tournament was awesome. Now, to commence Yomen's white whale, his black swan, his magnum opus, his ultimate rap to a suitably awesome song. Enjoy
  16. Yomen foresaw this burn, but it still hurts. Great rap! You’re on . Get ready for the most epic rap to ever be constructed on the face of the Cosmere, made to a suitably epic song.
  17. I’m not really familiar with that song, but it sounds suitably awesome But honestly, if you want to do Bohemian Rhapsody, don’t let me stop you. It’s not like the song is reserved or anything
  18. Max nodded and thought for a second, observing Vesuvius, how he weaved between attacks. The Canton had taught Max how to observe, how to find weaknesses. And the Ghostbloods has taught him how to use that knowledge to his advantage. He’s good at dodging, Max said. If you soulcasted something like a cage around him, he wouldn’t be able to dodge anywhere and his movement would be limited. Then, we could attack him at range and when he tries to break out just soulcast another cage. It doesn’t look like he’s got teleportation.
  19. Oh, you’re going to make me blush . But honestly, thank you. I actually find it interesting how you said you found making a parody easier than writing a rap from scratch. Personally, I think I found the parody harder, but that just might be me. And as to what song to pick next, I second your thought on that. I have no idea what song I’ll pick (maybe Urteaurian Rhapsody? )
  20. Brillin downed the whiskey and sipped at his tea. The two didn’t go very well together, but both warmed his insides and Brillin was to preoccupied to critique how well two drinks went together. The alcohol kept his mind distracted and the tea, well, he was a gentleman. Gentlemen drank tea. And tough guys drank alcohol. Brillin didn’t really think he was either, but he had both drinks anyway. “Well, if they wanted to show off their power, they would do it against an opponent, right?” Brillin asked. “And that means they wouldn’t attack a store, or, say, a Soothing Parlour. Because that would come across as a temper tantrum and destroying property rather than actually proving their strength. Maybe if there was a smaller gang, and the Scarlets attacked those, that would be showing their power, but I don’t think we have to worry about an attack out of the blue.” He ended it with a shrug, because even if he thought they wouldn’t attack the Parlour, What he thought could’ve been wildly wrong. He didn’t know these gangs, how they acted.
  21. Max landed his attack and Vesuvius dodged out of the way, but not without a few scars, it seemed. Quickly, Max rolled out of t( way as Neo and Devaan/Hellbent attacked, moving quickly beside Althea. “Is everything alright?” He asked her. “I saw you get crushed by that boulder.”
  22. Alask saw some sort of creature appear out of a portal, a claw screeching out. He paled and shook his head when Lena asked him to tell her if he had a good idea. “I’ve got nothing. Maybe silver?” He said and weakly through a silver bead at the claw. There wasn’t many silver beads left after the conflict between Shez and Edahs.
