Rashan took the mug, filled to the brim with the beer, and raised in gratitude, before drinking half of it, savouring its taste. Storms, this was good. "It's practical," he said bluntly, but honestly. "I don't agree with wanton murder, but I can't deny its usefulness. Or it's corriptiveness." Rashan took another sip. "Ya know, it's funny that I have a more positive opinion on hemalurgy than most, I mean I've seen what it does to people, first hand. That's why I drink, to forget what happened that night." He smiled, then took another sip.

"Dunno," Rashan said as he downed the mug in half a second, tapping steel for speed, before flipping a coin at the bartender and signalling for another drink. "Just wanted to start a conversation. I figure everyone's got a different opinion on it, it couldn't hurt to ask yours."

TUBA - The Underground Bakers' Association
I think I am here. replied to Stormblessed Dolphin's topic in The Alleyverse
I wonder, how many people will attempt to kill and/or disown and/or torture and/or spike and/or assassinate me if I make a petition that Reckoners should be Cosmere? Maybe it'll be the one thing that unites the DA and TUBA. I'll be on my way now. -
"Why not some of your signature root beer?" Rashan looked around the large bar, empty save for Rashan and the bartender. "Hey," he asked, quietly even though there was no one to hear. "What's your stance on Hemalurgy?"

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Lopen2 I know Rae's going to kill him anyway, but I don't believe Snip is evil and I don't think Bort/Pyro is evil either, for the simple fact that Bort voted for himself C1 and wanted other people to vote for him as well. Even if you were an elim, jeapordizing your teammates like this without them knowing if there's going to be a replacement sounds very wrong as an elim move, so my money's on Pyro's innocence. Now, last time I voted for Lopen I got in a lot of trouble, but hopefully we know better now. In fact, if Lopen turns out to be an elim, I'm going to have a huge "I told you so!" moment. Can't wait for that- 305 replies

Voting results: Snipexe (1): Araris Araris (1): Stick Devotary (1): Oplen Elandera (1): Alvron Now, these voting results aren’t the best. If this continues the way it is, there’s a quarter anyone of them will die. Elandera, you slightly supersede DoS in suspiciousness, so my votes on you.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Right as promised, my read. 1. Araris (Aralis) His concerns about elims as well as his obvious effort trying to find them gives me a village read. 2. Elandera (Ela) 4. LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian (Lopen) Yeah...who knows. 5. Arraenae (Para Dere) Her concerns on who’s an elim are justified, and so far she’s posted frequently, and hasn’t posted anything of suspicious note. 6. I think I am here (Itiah III) Me 7. Snipexe (Snip) Big village read, I’ve already explained why previously 8. Devotary of Spontaneity (Leidene Larabeck) I’ve had a PM, and I’m unsure. The arguments people are already giving for her being an elim seem justified. 10. Alvron (Vron) Dunno either. ‘Gods of Luck and Chance’ or Eliminators? 12. Bort (Joe Bourbon) Yep, idk. 13. TheMightyLopen (Oplen) Village, it’s been proven 15. _Stick_ (Straw Stick) Village.- 305 replies

Rashan tapped the card, feeling it’s power. Immediaty, however, the power seemed to dissipate, only a smidgen of it left inside the card. Storms, he thought as is opponent dropped a coin on the sandy arena floor for some reason, eyes examining Rashan, seeming to see something he could not. Suddenly, his opponent darted at him, air and sand coming together to form a large dust cloud where he took off. Somehing about that postition, though. Hands. Outstretched, ready to grab Rashan, not in any specific combat stance. It dawned on Rashan. Leeching. Rashan’s own power used against him. Instinct overcame Rashan, and in the split second of his opponent skidding towards him, Rashan stored all his power into the unsealed nicrosil mind in his hand, leaving none in his metalminds. His opponent stopped in front of Rashan and grabbed him by his arms, leeching him through his metalminds and his skin. But there was nothing left to leech. Well, there was something. Rashan looked towards hks left palm, the place the opponent’s dreaded sword had cut. Though the physical wound has long since healed due to his stormlight, the cognitive and spiritual wound had remained, only healing slightly. But now, Rashan felt the negative Investiture discharge from his body. He smiled at his opponent. They would still think they had leeched Rashan’s reserves, but in reality, Rashan’s reserves were tucked snugly in the nicrosil mind in his right hand, and all his opponent has really done was leech Rashan of his spiritual sword wound. His opponent let go. Feeling the negative energy completely leave the body, Rashan retapped the nicrosilmind, and feeling the power rush into him, Rashan laid his hands on all 4 of his opponents cards and leeched, taking away their power before attempting a punch to the face.

Um, Actually... (a game)
I think I am here. replied to Darkwalker's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Um, actually, Melishi was a Bondsmith. -
Rashan stepped back, proud that he'd trapped his opponent in a dark, suffocating, and not-easy-to-get-out-of box. He waited a few moments, almost in disbelief as he wondered if his opponent had really died. Well, for a brief few minutes there was definitely no commotion in the box. Rashan stepped forward, curious. The crowd held their breath, anxious. The commenter came to a rambling stop. Spotlights turned in their places, angling their shining light at the box. Nothing happened. Huh, Rashan thought. I've really killed hi- Something happened. Spotlights turned in their places, each light shining at the opponent. The commentator resumed his second-by-second breakdown. The crowd roared, energised. And Rashan took a step back, eyes wide and full of amazement. Or was that terror? Rashan couldn't tell. Right in front of him, draped in a magnificent cloak, stood his opponent, grinning, seemingly unharmed. He had literally reappeared in a puff of smoke. Great, Rashan mentally grumbled as his opponent strided forward, eyes gleaming and mouth twisted into a grin. You can always count on an opponent to mess up your attacks. “My turn!” His opponent drew two more cards, each glowing with a different symbol and colour. Fortunately, whatever effect the cards were giving, they didn’t seem to help with combat, for instead of flying around the arena like a bird or zooming around it like a steelrunner, his opponent simply walked, aiming a punch towards Rashan’s face. He could use that. Rashan stepped back, feeelin for one of his three emergency steelminds. Though it wasn’t Invested as much as his primary steelmind, it still held a wealth of speed. Rashan supertapped that wealth, all his weeks of saving tapped in a second. Rashan charged, feeling the power inside of him. As his opponent swung their punch, Rashan ducked, plucking one of the glowing metallic cards free from his opponent’s hand, sliding across the arena, first emergency metalmind tapped dry. Rashan looked at the card. Oddly, he almost felt an affinity to it, like a steelmind. Curious, Rashan ‘tapped’ the card, wondering what effects awaited him.

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ah, must have overlooked that. Right. Anyway, I'm going to stand by Snipexe, because I am fairly confident he's not an elim. More confident than I am about you, Araris. Don't get me wrong, I still have a neutral read on you, but a neutral read is less than a positive one, so I'm afraid you've got my vote. No hard feelings. @Araris Valerian, I @d your name so you would have a chance to speak before rollover, and so my vote doesn't seem like it's taking advantage of you sleeping at this time. Right, that'll be all.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure

I agree with your choices for who not to lynch, here's what I think of the remaining options: Alvron: Dunno, I'm gonna need to check back on what he's posted so far. Devotary: No, I've had a PM with them, they seem pretty village to me. Elandera: I'm still sorta suspicious though there have been some good arguments in her defence. Stick: I have a PM. Stick is definitely village. Araris: Not sure, neutral. So, taking away people I know aren't elims we have Alvron, Araris and Elandera, who could be elims, but I'm uncertain.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
To be honest, I don't think any of the two players we're lynching right now is an elim. I haven't got enough information on Gancho, but through my PMs with Snip I've definitely got a village read from him. Everything from the Citizen method (which we used before I stopped) to confirm we were both villagers to the fact that he didn't want me to get lynched gave me a genuine vibe from him. @Devotary of Spontaneity, he was the one who told me to share my innocent logic with you, because you had recently voted on me. I don't think an elim would do this. I realise it's dangerous to be siding with the person who seems to be under the most suspect right now, especially after what has been happening with people suspecting me, but I don't want another villager to be lynched, and I really believe Snip is a villager. For this reason, I'm not going to vote, since the two leading people in getting lynched aren't suspect to me. Of course, if one of them does end up being an elim, then I'm kinda screwed for trusting them.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Arraenae, first off, sweet poem. You should do this more often. Second off, good point on Elandra, though technically, now you're defending her . But seriously, I hadn't considered that. Good point. Third off, however, you seem to still think I'm lying despite various proofs. Drake, DoS, and Snipexe can all vouch that what I told them was true, so by not trusting me, you're also saying by extension you don't trust them. I've explained my points, but you still don't have a reason to lynch me beyond "I think you're lying", and even so, lots of people think the opposite. I'd like a good reason, please. Fourth off, @Araris Valerian, Harmony knows what you're doing. You're reason for lynching me is old and outdated, and you're not responding to most posts directed at you. I'm not going to stay on you too long because you said you were going to come back and do some analysis, but hopefully you realise I'm innocent. Oddly, you want me the dead the most and have the worst reason. Fifth off, I'm male . Sixth off, nice signature, Alvron.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
My reason for voting on Drake wasn't the only way I proved I was innocent. When straw gives you your role, he says "you are a citizen". The word citizen itself was a word only used by straw in the villager pm, so it made sense to think if you asked a villager what role they were and they said Citizen then they weren't elim, because elims wouldn't know that word, since it was only mentioned in villager GM PMs. I thought this could be like a codeword, and that was how, @Arraenae, I made sure who was trustworthy and who was not in my PMs. This is also the reason I didn't post why I'm innocent in thread, because the main reason was based around the 'codeword' Citizen as a way for villagers to identify each other, and just posting the Citizen codeword in thread would undermine all of that. The theory was not without its holes, however. Many people I PMd with this said that in the intro it actually DOES say Citizens, and when someone dies who is a villager it identifies them as Citizen, breaking my theory. The very fact they would point that out, instead of abusing it reinforced they were fellow villagers. Anyway, with these holes the theory was useless, meaning I could post in thread, but it was already 5 minutes until rollover and I didn't have the time to write this. TL;DR; There was a 'codeword' for identifying villagers I didn't want to post in the thread, hence my apparent inactivity, now that the theory doesn't work I can post it. I hope what I've typed is a suitable explanation, @Arraenae and other suspicious people PS. @Araris Valerian, you really want me to die despite my reasoning, why?- 305 replies
