  1. The pain was too much. Rashan would die soon, and it would be most painful. If he came back to reality, he wouldn’t be the same, not at all. So much pain, seeing all three realms... it did things to a man. That was only if he got saved. If no one came to help, Rashan would simply be torn apart. It didn’t sound like the best way to go out.
  2. Itiah IV stumbled every step. He was not from these parts. He saw some people make a commotion for a spider and walked in that direction. As he walked, he wondered why everyone looked so different over here. Indeed, Itiah was not from this place, but had there had always been so many short people back in Itiah’s home, or was it just him? Itiah carried no weapons, save for his large leather book, which could double as a weapon. Still Itiah hoped he would never have to hit anyone with the book. He didn’t like the book getting messy.
  3. Rashan was being stretched. The Beyond pulled him up, the physical body pulled him down, f this kept up, Rashan would be irreparably sperated into three beings, Physical, Cognitive and Spiritual. He shouted against the pain. It hurt so much, being pulled so hard, being in all three realms at once. He would be torn apart soon. Soon. Because for now, all Rashan felt was pain. All three kinds.
  4. Rashan was pulled between two realms The Beyond, hurling him above, tugging on him like he was attached to some rope The physical realm, forcing him back into his body through some means. Rashan couldn’t move. He couldn’t go back to his body, nor could he go to the Beyond. He was stuck until one side let go. For a moment, Rashan could see all thee realms, but wasn’t in either. He was stuck. One side has to let go. The tug of war between Rashan’s body wouldn’t last long.
  5. “Tevarah? Why do you have that blade in your hand, Tevarah?” Rashan! Watch out! Rashan barely dodged as Typhoon swung at him, dropping his disguise as Tevarah. Rashan knew he should have retreated, Veo was shouting at him to, but he thought that if he could just get to Typhoon’s armour.. Typhoon swing his blade, and Rashan charged right at, watching as it slowly became numb. Rashan! Rashan advances, saving his speed for the right moment. Typhoon kept swinging and hitting Rashan, but Rashan continued to heal. Legs, arms, they were all hit and then healed. There. Rashan supertapped his speed, sending himself flying at Typhoon like a lightning bolt, toppling then both over. As Rashan struggled he grabbed Typoon’s armour and leeched, removing it of its magic. Hopefully now his teammates would be able to have a chance defeating him. As Rashan continued to punch and kick he stopped abruptly. A Shardblade has been stabbed through him. Rashaaaaaaaa- Veo’s voice cut off as Rashan saw everyone. Everyone he’d ever murdered, flashing between his eyes. He saw the Cosmere, he saw Voidus, he saw Devaan, he saw Solace, who he’d saved, he saw everyone. He saw everything. Rashan stilled. He was dead. @LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian Time for you to do your DEATH thing I guess.
  6. Rashan tripped over the rope, but not before grabbing ahold of it, leeching it with his chromium. As Rashan got up to punch his enemy he saw Tevarah, of all people. “Friend, what are you doing here?” Rashan said, trying to get Tevarah to safety. “This is NOT the right time to come in.”
  7. "Yeah, Solace's all healed up," Rashan said, partly amazed that the small man could summon a massive blade out of nowhere. "We just need to wait for his spirit to connect to his body. Veo says it might take a while, though." Storms. For someone as clueless about 'Investiture' as Rashan, it helped to have Veo as an expert in it. Finally, Rashan rested his eyes on the enemy, who had been disguised as Kane as he stepped outside of the magical time-bubble and brought out his sword. "Funny," he said, taking one more step forward. "I rather liked the other guy. Was going to have a duel with him before he died. Now I'm left with you." Rashan cracked his knuckles. "But a man who wishes to die is a man who wishes to die, and I am the genie who's going to grant your wish."
  8. Rashan followed the small man’s instructions, continuing to heal Solace’s body. He had almost already closed up the impalement wound himself but the mark the small man had put had also seemed to be working to help him. When the time came, Rashan rolled Solace’s head into place and focused his Progrression on that, watching in satisfaction as the bleeding stopped and Solace’s head finally starting attaching to his body, connecting into place. It was then the small man had put down another mark, and, combining its power with Rashan’s Progression, Solace was whole again, completely healed as far as the physical realm went. Everyone else had evactuated, and Rashan and the small man waited eagerly, hoping for the moment to come where Solace would open his eyes, alive.
  9. Rashan continued working on Solace, and sure enough, things were getting better, just slowly. ”Veo, isn’t there some oath I can say to heal better? I kinda need it right now.” Not for your Order. Your oaths are for using knowledge to help people, not healing. Rashan sighed at that response, exasperated. Suddenly, a small man and Kane entered, the small man holding some sort of stone tool. Rashan was too busy healing to care about how Kane survived. Kane started everyone to get out of the room, that the small man would be able to heal Solace. ”No can do,” Rashan said, not looking back. “He’s gonna need a constant supply of healing to avoid any extra internal damages from happening. The small man can work while I’m healing.” Meanwhile, the small man frantically ran to Solace, asking if anyone had any knowledge on how he died. Rashan tried to help. “Kane found him like this,” he said. “Beheaded and impaled. He must have been impaled first, you don’t stab someone after killing them. The impalement must have been what kept Solace stationary, of you look at this hole.” Rashan pointed to a hole in the ground, probably where Solace had been impaled. As helooked down, he also saw broken shards of gems. ”The asssassin must have also tried to remove ways to heal, breaking the stormlight spheres. Then, he would behead. It must have been someone Solace has known, otherwise we’d have detained them. Someone he trusted.” Rashan looked at the small man holding the rock. ”I hope that’s enough.” He said as he focused more of his attention to his healing. Veo hummed in pleasure. Good job. You used your knowledge of what happened to help the Forger, and help Solace. You acted like a Truthwatcher. It’s not enough to swear the next Ideal, but’s more than you’ve done before.
  10. Rashan continued kneeling over the body, attempting to heal. Was resurrection even possible. Veo told him it was, though it would have to happen before Solace’s soul reached the afterlife. Rashan didn’t know how long that would take but hopefully there was still time.
  11. Rashan zoomed into the mansion and into Solace’s quarters, tapping speed (he’d hadn’t time to store a bit after the deul) finding who he thought was Veil shouting for a healer. Sucking in some stormlight Rashan channeled the surge of Progression, placing his hands over the body and sucking in his whole supply of stormlight into Solace, attempting to heal it. Hopefully he wasn’t too late.
  12. Yeah! I’m sorry I just don’t know what else to say but yeah! The Alleyverse is a wonderful place, as long as you make sure you’re on the right side.
  13. Rashan thought it through. Don't do it, Rashan. His spren warned him. Rashan continued to think it over. Rashan, he's a storming MISTBORN. Rashan didn't know what that was. He will kill you! He will destroy you! "Yeah, sure." Rashan said, shaking Kane's hand. NOOOOOOOOO His spren really didn't like him taking another duel. "Hey what's the worst that can happen?" You die. And then I go insane. "Exactly."
  14. "I guess, but I decked him instead, which is at least marginally better than blowing him up." Rashan listened as the woman pointed to the alleyway she thought Mace and went. As Rashan ran out of the bar and searched it, getting his spren to help, they eventually came us with an odd metallic card. Rashan recognised it. Devaan had used these in their duel! Unfortunately, this one had the charge lost from it, but Rashan was sure this was how Mace escaped. Running back into the bar and thanking the cleaner lady Rashan approached Devaan and asked him about the card. It wasn't one of Devaan's though he told Rashan that it was not Aon Tia, used to travel great distances. Rashan was onto something. He exclaimed his excitement to his fellow people to the bar. "All I have to do now is get an Elantrian to tell me how it's modified, and I can pinpoint where Mace is!" He tried searching the bar for Elantrians.
  15. "Sorry," Rashan said, helping the man up. "I just don't like getting blown up. Makes me hungry." Before he could leave, Rashan noticed something else about the man. "Wait. When Mace was fleeing the bar I saw you follow him. Where did he go?" Rashan had to find Mace. Then Rashan looked to the lady, who was shouting at him. "Sorry," he said. "But at least I didn't shoot him, right? Or blow him up." Rashan glared at Kane.
  16. Rashan recognised the man standing before him, the man he'd sent into the CR. So it was him who'd bombed the bar. Rashan decked him, but didn't shoot him, because at least he'd fixed his mess.
  17. "A week?" Rashan growled. "Let's just kill him now."
  18. Rashan heard a couple steps sound behind him, but couldn't get himself to look back at the newcomer. He had caused this mess, this Ruin. He'd done his job, though. His mission. Yet, you can't even remember the reason why you killed that poor lady! It was the truth. His spren always always told him the truth, something he was growing accustomed to. The harsh truth. Rashan quietly ignored her. The words still remained. Maybe if Rashan looked back at his mission notes, he would remember the reason, though he doubted visiting that memory again would do him any good. His spren called herself Veolasitina, but Rashan dubbed her Veo for short. As he went back to his drink, he heard another quiet sound from behind him. Whoever had entered the bar, they hadn't gone out, and we're still hanging about, behind him. Rashan looked back, taking a quick look, and saw a young woman cleaning some of the mess. How odd. Rashan sighed, looking back to his drink.
