  1. I'm not entirely sure that Sand Mastery is associated with Autonomy. We know that several Shardworlds were created before the Shattering and that the Sand has properties all on its own that let it soak up Investeture so it might be possible that Sand Mastery or at leas to the potential for it existed pre-Autonomy. Additionally we don't know if the Dark Side has any magic of its own either. All that said however I do have a couple ideas how it could be related to Autonomy though. One such hypothesis has to do with the Sand Masters themselves. I'm pretty sure that they possess their own innate Investiture separate from the Sand and it isn't that they control the Sand itself but the Investiture collected in it. Essentially giving the Sand the ability to move. There is more to my idea if you would like to inquire and it definitely has holes because of the lack of knowledge of more that the basic abilities of Sand Mastery but I was just using it as an example.
  2. Szeth doesn't pledge himself to the Law but to Justice I swear to seek justice, to let it guide me, until I find a more perfect Ideal. Because of that I think Wax would fit. Although a friend of mine pointed out a different theory of his own that Wax would fit in as an Edgedancer and I think that also has merit.
  3. I actually agree that he could make a decent Skybreaker. So far we've only seen Skybreakers that follow Nale's line of thought but as we've learned from Szeth, that isn't an absolute and that they can devote themselves to something other than The Law.
  4. Oh, that is an interesting theory for Copper Compounding
  5. This is quite a bit after the fact but it's not so much the magic system was designed by gods so much as metal happens to be the Focus of Scadrian magic. I think the relationship Allomancy/Feruchemy/Hemalurgy have with metal is what gives them the ability to interact with Aluminum at all.
  6. Dustbringer, I'm ok with that
  7. I don't think I got my meaning across in my original post. With a coppermind medallion, at least as far as we know, it works just like a normal coppermind where the person storing the memory still loses the memory while anyone can access those memories. What my original post was trying to say is that maybe there is a way for the memory to be fully duplicated so that the person storing can retain the memory and someone else can access the duplicated memory for themselves.
  8. That is pretty much what I was saying. The way Leyrann had worded their post had, at least to me and I could be mistaken, implied that the names were absolute.
  9. You seem pretty adamant about this but who is to say that the Intent is the name given to it and not just a name that was given to describe the Intent as best they could? While it is possible Odium could just be lying, he has said that he doesn't like the name as he thinks it fails to convey the entirety of his Intent so who is to say that doesn't qualify for the other Shards too. Take Ruin for example. Ati as far as we know had a very different view of the Intent than Sazed.
  10. Can Nightblood count as a pet? In all seriousness though I'm not sure
  11. You ask for my Breath? Dalinar though is my favorite character in the cosmere at present. Love his development. P.S. thank you for the cookie
  12. I've got an idea in my head that through some combination of Copper, Nicrosil, and Harmonium that it would be able to duplicate the memories held in a Coppermind and transfer them to multiple individuals. My basic reasoning for this is that everything in a Metalmind is some kind of Investiture and Harmonium is able to duplicate the at the very least the Investiture from Allomancy and Feruchemy.
  13. I would enjoy Transformation and Progression
  14. I finally decided to start posting rather than lurking and would like to introduce myself
  15. Arguably Fabrials and the technological uses of Ferruchemy/Allomancy would be able to synergize pretty well together
  16. I feel like this question needs context as well. What is the context of 'powerful'? If you are talking about direct combat then I wouldn't put AonDor near the top because they still have to use precious moments to write the Aon they need unless the have the preparedness necessary to have inscribed Aons that have any modifiers they may need on their person whereas a Mistborn, Feruchemist, or Surgebinder just needs to have their metal/sheres ready and can use their magic pretty simply. Now if you are talking about fortifications, preparedness, infrastructure I would very much say that AonDor is the most powerful.
  17. Based on SH, the Connection of everything is what allowed Kelsier to make his plan based on future knowledge. My personal theory is that Fortune represents the Connection of different moments of time and the influence of 'choosing' more favorable possible futures.
