Brandon Sanderson has been quoted saying in response to a question about duralumin "Question: If you burn duralumin won't it become a feedback loop and burn all the duralumin up.Brandon Sanderson: no it won't but duralumin will cause other metals to burn faster" But I wonder can you use duralumin in conjunction with other forms of investure to have the same effect
Your absolutely right when it comes to the conservation of mass production in fact in Alloy of law when Wax hits Miles Hundred Lives he does hit harder but you don't notice it because Miles can heal ridiculously fast but when Wax becomes heavier his body is reinforced but he has the same amount of strength so he can hit harder (by falling on them or into them) but he can't move move faster or be stronger. In other words durability is increased but not strength
I would think it depends on what you define mechanical as, if mechanical is any machine or tool then yes it would be confusing. But if mechanical is strictly defined as using tools to use the Investure then AonDor, ChayShan and Dakhor would be the only mechanical magic systems.Every other magic system is you utilizing the Inverture so then they would be organic.
Brandon Sanderson has said "all matter is invested with Andolosom innate investure" so then aluminum can't behave differently just because it has one or more type of investure in it
I think the Everstorm does have a spren the "sibling" but since Odium is still around the "sibling" has to do what ever Odium says but regarding your statement about voidlight, it would go to anybody that can utilize that form of investure
All mistborn, stormlight archive that came out plus elantras, warbreaker, arcs archanuim, Alcatraz and the evil librarians and the reckoners so what about you
