Well, you know how it be. You can't have a post-apocalyptic YA book without romance. -
Senate and house, basicly. I really like this idea, and I think it could work, it just needs to be fleshed out. We need: - A way for laws to be introduced. - Agreements on what makes a Great Guild - A way to break ties My ideas - A guild needs to be approved by the people to enter the government. - Each assembly should have certain responsibilties (Defence, justice, ect.) - Some stuff (Important regulations) would need to put to a vote by the people. (I love lists)

Batte Royale better than Hunger Games. There I said it, I've been meaning to say it for a while. -

Maybe the first ideal is the highest one can get without RP and you have RP the other oaths.

Investiture for a Better Life Foundation
old man moomba replied to Lord Meeker's topic in The Alleyverse
Rick looked at Althea, "No you killed Max" he chuckled "But, no, I didn't. I tried to wake him up, but it didn't work." He sighed "Then Solace came back, and took him. I wanted to follow, but I couldn't. I'm sorry." ~~~ Dwig nodded. "If you already had a ship in orbit, we could have gone there. But, we can just teleport directly to the surface. It would be good have a ship in orbit, if you could move one.- 273 replies

Well, not the guild leadership, but maybe representatives, politicans. I'm just posing therotical questions. What I ment by multi guild, is soldiers from every guild. But, your army might get moved into a larger group that might get approved by the new govrnment.
-
No, what I was saying is that if you were a compounder, do you also have to subtract points for twinborn.
-
Yes, but who is going to tell them what to do. Who decides weather they are justified in killing people. What if the council commandin g it (In therory) is made up of all anti-TUBA members, and they command the army to attack TUBA. You cannot have a giant army just sitting around. How would the command structure work? You would have to have a smaller council or committee in charge, but then we get the problem from before. But you also can't let the whole assembly make decisions, because any urgent decisions would get caught up in pointless bureaucracy. One last thing. Having a preexsiting army causes problems (For starters, the ones above). What we really need, is a multi guild coalition, with heavy checks and balances on its use and command structure.
-
Does Twinborn stack with compounder? If so: Dwig has 40 points, plus whatever a Shardblade would be. Lets say 7. So, 47 points? Pushing the limit, but not over the starting 50.
-
Again, we should not rely on armies to enforce laws. (Also who would command it?)
-
I did 80 points for an above average channeler.
-
I had a fun idea for Dwig. It involved him being put into cryostais because he contracted a deadly sickness of some sort.
-
I had one of those for WoT. Its unfinished, though.

Dwig, Hellbent, and the mercenaries teleported back into the lab. Dwig was wearing his power armor, and had a variety of weapons strapped on. "Well, I'm ready," He turned to solace "Say, do you have any craft in orbit of Yolen?" he asked.- 273 replies

I was thinking about a guild based representative democracy for government. Also longer timeskip?

I'm going to reiterate what I said in the PM. What if we had a wedding where a group of terrorists made the theat that they were going to end the Alleyverse. (Also free Voidus) Then, obigitory war ensues.

Investiture for a Better Life Foundation

"Yup" Dwig nodded. "There's a vault full of weapons, armor, and a few vehicles. It's two miles underneath the Towers Of Midnight, in Seanchan. If you wouldn't mine, I'd like to come with, to pick up a few things."- 273 replies

Dwig was thoughtful. He needed his power armor if they were going to conquer a planet. His usual set had been destroyed, along with the rest of G.U.E.S.S, when the base blew up. He had another, identical set of power armor in a G.U.E.S.S vault, under the Towers of Midnight in Seanchan. He turned to Hellbent. "If we want to conquer a planet, I'm gonna need power armor."- 273 replies
