I don't get your point. GUESS already exists, and also had an army.
-
You're welcome to submit the Precursors as the army for the new government, once the assembly is created. However, you shouldn't just assume that your army will be the one used. This new government is a republic, and this the sort of thing that needs to be voted on.

One day I'm gonna post my Era 3 character. The Terris Whitecloak.

Beta Universe (Retconned) Dapper grimaced, staring down the army of Sanderson characters charging towards him. He would need more help and more Booklight. He reached into his pack, and pulled out a Wheel of Time hardback boxed set, sighed, and breathed in. It crumbled, and Booklight flooded into him. He turned a few pages in his tome, and quickly read the profile. He breathed out, summoning a homeless man wielding a quarterstaff. Rick, another good character. Rick charged out into the crowd of OSC’s and began bashing them with his quarterstaff, causing them to burst into Booklight. Dapper sucked in the Light and quickly summoned the character he had just read. A Horneater wearing a Rough's outfit, and holding a shotgun. Rick changed his strategy, shoving the enemies towards the red haired lawman, who quickly dispatched them with his shotgun. Then, a Shardbearer shoved Rick out of the way, knocking him to the ground. He was wearing blue Plate. “What, Adolin, really! It would seem the element of surprise has worn off, and the real fight begins.” Adolin slowly made his way towards Dapper and Dwig. Dwig reacted quickly, becoming a blur, and bashing Adolin’s Plate with his Blade, causing it to crack.

main plot The Metamorphosis: Rise of Villainry
old man moomba replied to Lord Meeker's topic in The Alleyverse
Dwig laughed, turing to the watch officer. "Do you have any jump bays?" The officer nodded and pointed to the elevator. Dwig smiled and strode off the bridge, his overarmor growing as he walked. It looked a lot more like the kind used by space marines, adding at least a foot to his hight. In contrast to his usual armor, it was a shiny black, with silver accents. The doors to the bay hissed open and Dwig stepped in. He walked up to the airlock and nodded to the controller, who opened the airlock and shot him straight downwards into the atmsphere. A star fell out of the sky near Hellbent, and made a massive crater.- 571 replies

I assume by the "Senate" you mean the entire congress, or what we've been refering to as the Senate and the House together. I also assume the "Major House" is the Great Guild assembly, and the "Minor House" is the other one. (Or I'm complely wrong.) It looks good, although we could change the assembly names.
-
Yes, but every republic needs checks and balances to keep everything heading the right way.
-
Accually, we can just clone Dusk.
-
I dunno, it was something along the lines of the great guilds teaming up on one other or the smaller guilds.
-
Chamber responsibilities. Senate (Great guilds) Taxation Infrastructure Census Nominating non-elected government positions (Must be voted on by both houses) House (Smaller guilds) Defense Starting impeachment proceedings (Must be voted on by both houses) Justice system Spending Appointing the Chancellor
-
Yes, there is: Crysts, coins of glass with various amounts of crystal in them, representing various denominations. Did we clarify if the government is IC or OOC? Because we need other regulations if it's IC.
-
I just had some lightning ideas: - The Chancellor is able to suggest laws that can be voted on. - Each house should be able to vote on laws that are in their sphere of influence (the thing I suggested earlier) - For important laws, both houses have to vote. - The Chancellor is responsible for approving laws and breaking ties.
-
It's not done yet, we still have to flesh it out, and your objections are great for addressing the problems we have with it still.
-
If you're gonna enforce the laws, you will need to be involved in politics. Who's gonna tell you to enforce the laws.

Beta Universe(Retconned) Dapper was surprised, he hadn’t expected there to be a battle so soon after his joining of the Knights Awkward. It wasn’t, however, a bad surprise, as it gave him the chance to test his theories. He opened his massive tome and consulted a page, then smiled, sucking in Booklight and pressing his palms together. He drew them apart, and in a burst of booklight, another man was standing next to him. He was wearing a roughs duster, a crisp shirt, and brown trousers. He had a massive glowing Shardblade over his shoulder. “Dwig Jigdens, one of my characters, meaning my theory was correct.” The man moved into a fighting stance. Shardblade held in Windstance. One of the characters charged towards him, a Bridgeman. Dwig took two steps forward, jumped, and swung his Shard downward. The Bridgeman exploded into booklight. (So basically, the characters are like Stands from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Some of them are long range, meaning they can move fairly far from their creator, about 30 feet. Others are short range, meaning they can only go a few feet away from their creator. Generally, the more powerful a character is, the more likely that they are short range.)

I guess. For some reason I assumed they would be used for voting for laws.

One trough three look good, but I'm confused about four. Is it the number of represntives each guild gets?
