  1. I'm loving the amount of Spiderman stuff recently just in general, but I will admit to being so intrigued with Into the Spiderverse that I bought tickets for it as soon as I could for the earliest day I could and watched it the morning after it started showing and was suitably impressed. As far as animated movies go, I'd set that above most, and as far as Spiderman movies go, it's also up there with the way they animated Kingpin and the rest, plus the focus on some of my favorite Spider-people (Miles and Spiderman Noir).
  2. Hmm...might be an issue for the theory, but that's okay. There would have been no way to prove that anyway, and it was a pretty long shot.
  3. So what is the timeline regarding Aether of Night and Stormlight? Aether would have to happen before, but how much before? There's a little crackpot theory I just thought of that hinges on this.
  4. In Oathbringer, while the crew is in Shadesmar (directly after entering) and Shallan is looking for something to walk across the beads with, what type of spren are the "little orange or green people, only a few inches tall" that were among the spheres?
  5. We do indeed know now, and it was good.
  6. If you're reading Sanderson, even reading slowly you don't get everything. There's always another secret.
  7. The only bad joke in Stormlight is Moash.
  8. She did Awaken stuff, but it wasn't exactly on-screen and no character was paying much attention to her during that point.
  9. That's a good point, especially with the embodiment of passion/anger/hatred stirring things up.
  10. They probably did, seeing as most sets of Investiture use have some way, shape, or form of extending lifespan, so it's not a stretch to imagine that Ashyn's magic does as well, or Honor/Cultivation saw their potential and gave them the choice to extend their lifespan or not based on character.
  11. Yeah, Calderis is accurate. You just described what Moash currently is.
  12. Oh no...not Mistborn 9...that's so far away!
  13. Y'ALL THERE'S A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TRAILER UP NOW, CALLED THE HOPE TRAILER AND MY HEART C A N N O T TAKE IT
  14. I'd rather just have him kill Moash in a symbolic gesture of letting go of his past grudges, but if he has to die, I'd rather him Iron Man it, suicide charging into the enemy and taking out a ton of them before going out. Of course, if Moash gets some more characterization, I might support your scenario, but as it is right now, I don't think Moash should get a good ending like that.
  15. If I could post a picture of myself doing the salute, I would!
  16. It was the first new book I'd read in a few months, so I was starved for Sanderson content. That's only reason I made it through so fast.
  17. Baseless theory territory is the best territory, after all.
  18. Or it could break the spirits of all of Bridge Four. They see him as nearly invincible at this point, and losing him would throw them back into the Honor's Chasm of despair.
  19. We only know three things: He was on guard when Ham and Vin visit, he was in the Garrison at Luthadel, and he was in Sertes's group. That's everything we know about Bevadon/Bevidon (apparently his name changes by a letter in some prints).
  20. Yeah, Leras did much the same, except the only thing left was his already weakened remnant, didn't he? A long death like that probably messes you up in the head.
  21. Been there, done that. I read all Sanderson books in a single sitting the first time through because I can't stand putting them down. Oathbringer took me longer than most do, longer even than Lord of the Rings. Roughly 4 and a half hours it took me of solid, uninterrupted reading.
  22. Potentially, yes, but we won't know unless someone can get an answer out of Brandon or until the next Sel book comes out in a few years. Honestly, I wouldn't complain if Saolin was still alive, but it's very possible that Riino informed the guard at the Perpendicularity about the Reod and that he was only bared able to get into the pool in the first place, so the guard might not have been there by the time Saolin got stabbed, leaving Saolin in a bad situation in the Cognitive Realm.
  23. You can read any Sanderson book in a single setting if you do it right.
  24. Worst possible ending: Moash/Vyre stabs him in the back as he tries to protect Dalinar in the battle of champions.
