  1. Fair. We don't know enough to make a solid decision. Yet.
  2. I can see where you're coming from, but I think Yelig-nar bonded to humans in the old days as well, given that in Hessi's Mythica, there was a segment about Yelig-nar and bonding him, with something along the lines of "Curiously, some sources mention swallowing a gemstone to engage in this process," so I believe that combining that with the information that humans would fight on the side of Odium's forces in multiple Desolations, per the Stormfather and the visions Dalinar has.
  3. Yeah, you'll see him. He's introduced as Hoid and he is doing what Hoid does best.
  4. Yeah you're going to die from that, plus the cognitive aspect is that they are still two separate metals of a different type, so that stops it right then and there.
  5. Pretty much what Weltall said, in addition to the fact that she could probably have contained any redness that may have cropped up with that wonderful kandra body-manipulation. Also welcome to the Shard!
  6. I kind of doubt that, given how he Invested as heavily as he did into the highstorms.
  7. Oh yeah, absolutely it would take forever trying to get that much mass all rearranged for a first-time transformation, even discounting the amount of time it would take for the kandra to absorb enough extra mass to become something that large. Also I don't think the kandra would be able to replicate the scales of the dragon, so they'd probably have to use the ones already there, presenting an issue for getting a dragon killed in the first place.
  8. I agree, it is kind of strange, but mostly a fun kind of strange.
  9. The overall strategy is to free himself from the confines of Roshar, so bonding Yelig-Nar in new ways wouldn't really interfere with that. But good point about the Everstorm being new, I'd forgotten about that.
  10. Probably more that they didn't need it as much. Now that Dalinar has freaked out Odium a little and refused his championship, Odium probably is trying new things, plus he had 4,000 years to come up with new things to do other than just breaking the Heralds.
  11. Maybe the point is to experiment with giving Yelig-Nar his own body, shoving the singer out. I don't think they would have tried that during the last Desolations and we know they think nothing of sacrificing singer lives.
  12. MY BAD MY BAD MY BAD MY BAD I fixed it.
  13. I like them all, but honestly, yeah, WoA is probably my least-liked one in the trilogy just because it doesn't hold my attention as much as the others do. TFE introduces everything, HoA caps it off. It's a good book, don't get me wrong, but the whole Zane/Vin thing doesn't hold my attention like struggles against a dark ruler or anything else.
  14. It would have to be someone under Odium's direct supervision, since Yelig-Nar would otherwise just eat their soul like he did to Aesudan. Whoever becomes his official champion will, I believe, though it won't be Malata, probably, since she already has a bond. Ialai Sadeas maybe, but unlikely. What makes you think this? He needs a gemheart (or a swallowed gemstone) to bond and singers come ready-made for it. Honestly, my main money is on Turash.
  15. It is very likely that it functions in a similar way to Hemalurgy at its fundamentals, but Moash would have had to know that it was Hemalurgy to make it work correctly, as Intent is a large part of Hemalurgy's correct workings, at least on Scadrial, though I do not know why it would change on another planet, per the second WOB.
  16. It's homepage, so every time I do something, I see it. And it's up now, as Undead Wookie said, it's at 25%!
  17. I HAVE FOUND YOU BEFORE YOU FOUND ME! HA HA

  18. Sandman is good at doing stuff like that.
  19. Kon-Tiki is right, Honor and Cultivation were in a long-lasting relationship and it's very possible that they were married (or the equivalent) and that lead Honor to consider them the same, so there was that loophole.
  20. That one got me, nice job.
  21. Good choice!
  22. There was a WOB about it, but I could not find it again.
  23. Welcome to the Shard! Who's your favorite character?
  24. Technically, yes, but the prophecy remains valid because it took into account the actions of everyone, including the direct actions that lead to the prophecy being needed. In the timelines where people acted differently, the prophecy is different, as well. Worth noting is that the initial source of the prophecy (though no one knows this) was from the last person to have a major prophecy about them and they ended up temporarily omniscient and wrote the prophecy (picture Taravangian writing the Diagram and that's a fair comparison, except this lady was actually omniscient, not just really smart).
  25. The Spiritual Realm is the source of all Investiture, and that's where it goes after Nightblood is done with it, to be recycled into fresh Investiture ready to be used, save for the bits that Nightblood keeps (which might actually be an expanding capacity).
