  1. Honestly, we don't know how much health the Lord Ruler has, so hitting him with a sniper might not even do it if he has enough to heal instantly and then taps speed to get somewhere else under the assumption that more will be coming, possibly even tapping zinc to calculate where the shot came from and then making it there to kill the person who tried to shoot him. I still say sneaking Nightblood near him would be the easiest thing to do.
  2. It would be the easiest way to do it, honestly. Just bug the big guy, asking him if he would rather just tell you the answer or make you go experiment. I actually have a theory that the beads the Lord Ruler had when he moved the Well weren't the only Lerasium beads around. It seems like Preservation would have made sure there were enough beads plus some extra in case his foresight was wrong. Plus, there weren't 16 beads that we know of, which, given Leras's obsession with signaling about the number 16 in stuff, would have made a lot more sense. Counting the 9 given to the original nobles, the one Hoid stole, and the one Elend burned, there's still 5 around somewhere, theoretically.
  3. That might work, but the biggest issue is getting him into a position to do something like that. A Fullborn whose powers come direct from the source is not going to be easy to trap or even to get close enough to shoot him without him tapping a massive amount of speed and moving out of the way of the gunshot. The single easiest way to kill the Lord Ruler would be to throw Nightblood at him.
  4. Marsh might have known. Kell knew. Spook probably would have known from that, and wasn't it supposed to be Spook's book that chart was based on?
  5. It could be that they just asked Harmony what a lerasium spike would do until he told them.
  6. Not quite true. The aluminum bullet would have to lodge into the head and obstruct something vital, or else he could still heal from it. Headshots won't do anything against a gold-compounder, see Alloy of Law for proof.
  7. Trust me. I get WOB-ified even after a ton of posts and a year here. Each time, it helps me formulate the next thing in a way that won't get WOB'd. Just gotta take the hits and get back up. No waste of time to find out new things.
  8. Dominion could be referring to nations/rulers if it had a Vessel. Dominion and Devotion are both churned together into a plasm-ish mess in the Cognitive Realm, which is why the location matters for the Selish magics.
  9. Steal the Kandra atium, trade it for gold, take the gold to Nalthis, buy 2,000+ Breaths. Immortality done.
  10. Not all Shards have a direct opposite, for what it's worth. Also Brandon has said that Preservation and Cultivation would be much more at odds than just Preservation and Ruin.
  11. I would doubt that, due to the fact that the Stormfather refers to the Sibling as sleeping.
  12. Read it! It was good! Read Defending Elysium first, though. You can read it from his website.
  13. Yeah, pretty much what Weltall said. If you can find an actual Physical manifestation of the body of that Shard (the mists on Scadrial would be eaten by Nightblood) like maybe one of Autonomy's avatars, perhaps. But otherwise, good luck. Except maybe the Dor, if you chucked Nightblood into it and left it there, though it would fill up before it could do it in one go.
  14. It was 40% for a bit, dipped back down to 25% but now it's back up again and I love that Starsight is on there now too!
  15. Both of those are fair points, and if I had to choose Chemoarish or Dai-Gonarthis for being the Everstorm, I'd probably hazard a guess at Dai-Gonarthis, judging from how Hessi's Mythica speaks of him.

    Koloss

    I'm thoroughly Spooked. Well done!
  17. Welcome to the Shard! What's your favorite world from the cosmere?
  18. Oh. Still a pretty solid no, considering how much Investiture is at work there for leeway in the amount of Elantrians.
  19. In-world, in Era 2, Spook advocated for asking elderly Allomancers and Feruchemists to sacrifice themselves for just that purpose.
  20. You don't have to die to become an Elantrian. I bolded the relevant line in the below WOB:
  21. I was thinking about that awhile, like maybe the Everstorm's spren will replace Ba-Ado-Mishram as an Unmade since BAM is still imprisoned (I think)
  22. My money is on it probably does have a spren (because of the whole "He uses it as Honor once used me" thing that the Stormfather mentioned) but I don't think we'll get to see that spren for a good while, if ever.
  23. Probably via the increased Connection of the bond, yeah.
