  1. "Impressive. Are you here to answer a particular listing or add a listing for yourself, or both? Also, be careful with that. I don't want to have to dispose of a body again, thanks." Malu puts a glass of water in front of you. "I can absolutely do cheesecake." Malu cuts a slice off of and plates it in front of you, pouring a glass of water as well.
  2. Internet has to internet, I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. That lends itself to an interesting theory: the attack on Scadrial is being directed from some Shard with access to beings like that that you can spike into someone and that will take them over, lending itself to the Faceless Immortal mockery from Suit and the commentary on taking bodies.
  4. CURSES Foiled again!
  5. Thank you! I'm really bad at finding WOBs.
  6. "Absolutely." Malu pulls a few oranges out from under the counter and juices them into a cup. "How would you prefer to pay today?"
  7. "Excellent choice. Our daily pie variant is a nice, gooey, chess pie." Malu slides a slice out of the case onto a plate and hands it to you. "I would also recommend having a glass of something to drink. This pie will gum up your mouth pretty good."
  8. Malu walks out from behind the bar to your table. "Would you like some food? Something to drink, perhaps? Maybe you are waiting on someone and would like to be seen to a private parlor?"
  9. Cosmere Mythical Morning, back again with a segment from "WILL IT SPIKE?"
  10. First generation Hemalurgy, maybe. Brandon has said that there is a chance for majorly Hemalurgy-ified creatures to pass along their "gifts" (notably Inquisitors) to their children in the natural way, much as mistwraiths were able to form their own self-sustaining species.
  11. I still think Vax is a rogue planet sustained by a thick atmosphere and perhaps a Shard actively trying to keep beings alive on it.
  12. Could be, could be. Everyone was quite wary of anything to do with the Radiants and having their ghosts wandering the storm forever seems like the kind of kooky stuff the Rosharans would come up with. Well noticed!
  13. Probably Hemalurgy
  14. I don't really think calling them siblings means the same thing with spren as it does with humans.
  15. So we know you can spike humans with Hemalurgy, along with some fun experiments with beavers, but what else can you spike? Do seons or skaze have enough of a physical form to be able to use Hemalurgy on them? What if you were trying to staple them to a body? Do Cognitive Shadows have different bindpoints than they had when they were alive? Can you spike a Shade. Is this, perhaps, how the Set's "Faceless Immortals" work? What do y'all think?
  16. I agree, that would be pretty cool.
  17. What are your biggest things you would change within the cosmere, and how do you think that would affect everything?
  18. I disagree with that. Kell would be better in the position Bean has him in than as coach. A good coach, though, would be Elend (post-Tindwyl, at least), or Vasher.
  19. Silver does not behave like aluminum through the majority of the cosmere. It's possible that silver behaves the way that it does to all Cognitive Shadows, but it does not block Investiture in the same way as aluminum.
  20. "Ah, another listing. Here, sit down, have a drink and a snack on me while I get this posted up." Malu slides the child a glass of water and a slice of pie.
  21. I really like the Sazed one and the wolf, but they're all really good!
  22. I think that's a reaction to the most recent set of information she has about Reen, that he died protecting her even under torture, and her "Reen's advice" compass reflected that in that very moment.
  23. Roshar is the only one that has spren that are the way they are on Roshar itself. Seons and skaze could be classified as a form of spren, as well as the Shards, technically. It really just depends on what you mean by spren, but they're not even sure about the definition themselves.
  24. The explanation might be that though it is acting like a dead Blade most of the time, something about the specific scenario and the way living Blades form is different from dead Blades.
  25. I don't think that's the case, since Hoid is older, even, than the Vessels of the Shards themselves, and he was old enough to have begun aging oddly by the time the Shattering happened in the first place. I mean maybe he got arbitrarily assigned to Preservation's Investiture somehow, but then Harmony would be aware of him, and Harmony is confused by him and how he can hide.
