  1. That's how I personally think it works, though there is little to hold that up in the books themselves, as most of the Radiants we've seen have been much more Honor-sided than Cultivation-sided (discounting Lift, because she's an oddity in a lot of ways regarding this). Szeth says that Radiants can hold Stormlight better when compared with the Honorblades, because the Honorblades are a prototype that eventually the Radiants mimicked with different methods (spren vs Honor directly infusing the Heralds). But, yes, there will have to be some studies done (or just asking Brandon).
  2. Welcome to the Shard! I can't help with Reddit, but navigating here is mostly just finding threads in various topics you like and weighing in, learning the rules as you go. Whatever you do, though, do NOT ask if Reckoners is cosmere.
  3. Do I hear...flying bridges?
  4. There are already gems on Plate, so probably not. The Plate itself conforms to each person that puts it on, which is probably its equivalent to a Blade's bonding process, only a lot quicker. Worth noting is that Radiant Plate can be summoned and dismissed from what we've seen, so there's some different circumstances somewhere. Might be that Plate isn't dead in the same way Blades are so it doesn't need the syncing of heartbeats to bring it back into the Physical Realm.
  5. I'd imagine Stormlight doesn't get used at the same rate for each of the orders (presumably the ones closer to Honor using it more efficiently) and if that's correct, then for the Cultivation alternative, it'd be pretty much the opposite: more towards Cultivation, more efficient.
  6. It's referred to as silver in-world, and I think Brandon would have hinted that the sword was aluminum if it actually was at some point. I think the most likely thing is that it's actually silver and he may use it as defense against shades on the occasions he goes to Threnody (if those exist), but also it's referred to as a symbol of him being Wit, so it's probably just Rosharan silver with some changes he's made to it.
  7. Like King of Nowhere said, that's probably because every time Wayne shows up or gets in the broadsheets, she gets affronted with the knowledge that this guy killed her father and now is pretty much everywhere. If Wayne laid low for a couple of years, not seeing her or getting into shenanigans, she'd probably pass the grieving stage she's at now, but it's hard to do that under her circumstances.
  8. It's actually made of silver, to the best of our knowledge.
  9. Yeah. Yes, Volatile is an homage to Bakugo.
  10. "That particular bottle is worth one ruby mark."
  11. "Depends, what are you paying with?"
  12. Yeah, but the question would be how much Stormlight something that large could hold versus the drain.
  13. Well, Wayne first came up with giving them money and then, yes, the mother told him to give a portion of it to Allriandre. We don't know if Allriandre knows that her mother wants him to give it to her, though, and could just see it as further torment.
  14. "Fair enough." Malu pulls a bottle of Alethi orange and pours you a cup. "Enjoy. If you need anything else, just wave at me and I'll be over as soon as I can."
  15. I thought it was either that or a bunch of Shades gathering in one location because of a breach of the Simple Rules or something else drew them and the location being small enough pierces a hole into the Cognitive.
  16. "Absolutely. Are you particular about where the orange comes from? I've got bottles from four different sources if you want some variety."
  17. Malu walks towards the stool you sat at. "What can I get for you today?"
