@Elsecaller_17.5 I am with you on this one. I think that Adolin is very much on his way to reviving Maya and I think it will result in him having some kind of, as you put it, pseudo- radiancy. I really don’t see why people are so negative towards this idea. I think it makes perfect sense and the bond will be different enough, unique enough to warrant an interesting read. I have said this before on other threads, I think the problems that honor’s side face are big enough that they can use all the radiants and pseudo-radiants that they can get. While due to his skills, Adolin is not entirely useless but he is not of much use against odium’s forces! But if he get even a squire level access to stormlight, imagine what all he can accomplish. I do not agree with this. I don’t think this holds true any longer. I think when you kill someone and begins to think that you have failed your father, that is a beginning of cracks in your soul. When your bedrock around which you had centred your entire ethical framework- Dalinar, is shaken, like it will be once Adolin learns about his mother and what really happened in Rathalas, I think it is going to create cracks in his soul. Already we see that he has broken a little, he has begun to self doubt, question his usefulness etc there are plenty of arguments we can make to suggest that he is broken enough. Besides, we have Lopen as an example of how a broken soul is not always necessary. Also I think someone who is less broken than the norms, might have better chances of filling the gaps in the broken soul of a deadeye spren and reviving them. In short, I am all for Adolin reviving maya and gaining some form of Radiancy. But I want him to be different from normal radiants.

Yea T is most definitely a plant of cultivation lol.. but I want to in it how much of this does odium know! He obviously knew that cultivation had tinkered with Dalinar but still decided to take his chances. So I am worried that he is going to be extra cautious with T!! And things may not turn out exactly how Cultivation hopes they would. Oh yes I am very glad that Renarin has been given some other storyline because I don’t see him making this diagram and trying to kill every ruler in order to become the one ultimate ruler!

I liked Marasi a lot when I first read era 2. And I preferred her over Steris. But as we progress, I began to like Steris more and more for Wax and in general too. I like what Brandon did with the three of them. I really like Marasi in SoS and Even more in BoM, she is a good strong character and at times I was a little irritated with Wax and his attitude towards Marasi in BoM.

Haha I agree I really like stonewards mainly because of Taln I think but I also think they would be ultra powerful and can not wait to know more about them! I would definitely join windrunners or elsecallers too given the opportunity because flying or soulcasting with transportation surge sounds very interesting!

Exactly! I believe it is something she can very much do but once she progresses in her oaths. May be 5 th ideal gives KRs the ability to properly combine both surges. Yup agreed. All these are very valid and very interesting questions !

No no it is a very devastating ending indeed. I felt very very bad for Wax and I was annoyed at Harmony. But I also find it interesting And want to find out in the later series/ eras how his shard is going to affect Harmony and change him. Being a god and holding so much power and capacity to shape a person’s entire Life, it changes you, no matter how much you resist the urge but you can not always resist. Harmony showed a little bit of that arrogance we associate with gods many times, already I see a fight between his humanity and godliness. I find it very interesting and want Brandon to explore this struggle in Sazed more. I really don’t think the ending of BoM justifies Or explains Sazed at all. It is however a setting for what the future the has in store for Scadrial.

Thank you @SzethIsBadAsHell Although my answer to your above question is a ‘no’, I still think that my answer to your original idea i.e. whether lightweavers can create solid illusions by combining both surges of illumination and transformation, is an absolute yes. I think it should be possible and Jasnah and shallan both suspected as what happened. However, I doubt if that is what shallan is doing at the end of OB, atleast not properly and not consciously, because she has neglected to learn about soulcasting so far.

I always took it to simply mean that shallan had made those illusions but she was referring to herself as all three- shallan, veil and radiant. She had so fragmented herself at that point she was unable to decide which one is real. To further illustrate my point, I want to remind the instance where: From shallan’s pov, it looks like there are three real solid versions of her, actual shallan, solid illusions of veil and radiant but lift comes near shallan and refers to her as ‘lady too busy hugging herself’. This tells us that when shallan thinks all three are hugging each other, it is actually just shallan hugging herself!! So, no I don’t think she created solid images of veil and radiant. Those were just her imagination and other people ( I.e. lift and Jasnah) only saw one shallan. No, that is not what happened. Shallan alone was creating those illusions but she was referring to herself as Shallan-veil-radiant because she could not decide which multiple personality of hers is the real original one! Or You can say which one she would ultimately like to be or in the end, which one she would keep. That is also why I think Adolin was able to help her somewhat, because it is his love towards Shallan that makes her choose shallan as ‘this is me’ over veil and radiant.
