Good point, I suppose. Don't really want to do VCA with a locked thread. That sounds like pain. Tbh most of that was just the fact that I didn't have any meaningful interactions with either. And I no longer stand by my "Ostrich e/e Penguin" since I'm inclined to think they're both v. That leaves us with Hyena, which we'll figure out later. I mean I feel like most general suspicions of me have come from the fact that my reads change a lot. I'll admit, I am trying a new playstyle similar to Orlok (but not really), which normally entails infrequent, large posts, but I have my normal playstyle bleeding through, and that's probably what you're detecting. That's why I asked for the reasoning behind your suspicion

Readslist (alpha version): VR: Amethyst Scorpion, Azure Mouse, Emerald Falcon VL: Oxblood Beagle, Chartreuse Penguin, Amber Vulture, Fuchsia Ostrich N+: Opal Lion, Salmon Meerkat Sage Kangaroo, N: Quartz Zebra, Cream Tuatara, Mauve Crocodile (N-): plum rhino, Saffron Iguana, Onyx Flamingo, Hyena SL: Sapphire Elephant SR: As usual, you can ask me about the placement of anyone on my reads list. You just have to ask. (let me know if I missed anyone, too)

If I may ask, why? The post above felt like it was solving for Coral Swan's identity, not alignment, and I disagree with that approach in anon games. And then it sort of spiraled into the reasons why e!swan wouldn't make the smoker claim so early. I'm curious about what makes you feel like that post is off, however.

The curse of me susing people for lurking and getting ninja'd by them immediately after posting is real. And tbf there's been a lot of sheeping. I didn't expect Sapphire Elephant to become an actual train, as it was meant to be a poke vote. And I sorta figured that you skimmed the thread because a past chameleon did that last ag but yeah. Unfortunate. To be fair, a lot of people have mixed reads on me, and it's sorta understandable? I'm trying to run a playstyle that uses bigger, heavier, analysis posts rather than a sequence of small ones, and it's not clashing well when I try to use both simultaneously. The post fusion thing only occurs within 15-30 minutes of posting the first post I believe. Yeah, that post also made me hesitate to vote chartreuse penguin, and I also didn't want to vote hyena before even giving them a chance to defend themselves. In your opinion, do you think elims had significant influence on d1 voting? Pending items: Readslist VCA

Yeah, I'd be fine with an Ostrich shot. After all, if ostrich flips E, then chartreuse penguin is probably also E. Why do people want a chartreuse penguin shot? Because ideally, you would have died, if ostrich hadn't materialized from wherever- only The Lord Ruler knows where- you would've been flipped. I suppose after reconsidering it, I'm slightly shying away from a Penguin shot and more leaning towards a Ostrich shot. Also, I didn't have my vote on dragonfly. My vote was on Flamingo for continuity errors (they said they preferred Hyena over you, and that was why their vote was on Hyena, but they changed their vote. Now they're V!reading me for pointing it out and voting on them, and I'm not sure what to think of that). I voted on dragonfly the first time to apply pressure to them (a fancy way of saying it was a poke vote), and then after they posted I think I switched to Elephant. When I voted them later, it was because I saw them lurking, and found it strange that they weren't trying to defend themselves- only because they were writing a megapost- and quickly unvoted once I realized after. Do you read Ostrich as Elim or village for their EoD vote on Ivory?

Right now, I'm comprehending the situation. A few things stick out to me. 1. People seem to suspect Ostrich for voting EoD. It did indeed happen, but I'm guessing it was based off of a skim read if village. The only reason why e!Ostrich would draw attention to themselves is if they needed to save their e!partner, Chartreuse Penguin. Therefore, if Ostrich is elim, Chartreuse Penguin is likely to be as well. 2. People seem to believe that there is a lot of vote manipulation. I do not agree. There is two votes missing, and one vote added on to Hyena. There may be a case where there are three rioters and two chose the same target, but the likelyhood of that is small. Remember, votes added means a rioter. Votes removed could be many things. I suspect 1 soother and 1 rioter, although in my mind, there is an equal chance of having a non-voter rioter and two soothers. I suppose whether you believe there is a lot of vote manipulation depends on the relativity of your definition of a "normal" amount of vote manipulation. 3. As of right now, I would encourage the coinshot to shoot Chartreuse Penguin, Sapphire Elephant, or Hyena even. In my opinion, a shot in the low activity pool is better than not. I'm just going to quickly note one thing about Coral Swan: Whether or Not they are new is irrelevant. I feel like people have been trying to solve for mafia experience, of all things, over solving for alignment. In my opinion, the mafia experience of a player shouldn't influence my read on them significantly, so I see not the value in that. I'll be honest, swan is more likely village than not. The chances of an Elim "going rogue" at the start of D1 and throwing away a valuable, historically elim-coded tool is low, since most gambiters would've wanted to consult their Elim team before they do that (and note: at the time of that post, very few had logged on, and it can be assume sod d1 not all elims had checked in yet). I could see perhaps an Elim Gambit where they open up their GMPM, discover they're a power role, and fake claim smoker immediately to make it: a) not seem suspicious when they aren't dead later b) unlikely for the Coinshot to target them, or the seeker But in order for the Gambit to be utilized to truest potential, it would be ideal to try and be as village read as possible, since it utilizes benefit "A" more. Anyways, that's an overanalysis of Swan's Smoker claim.

You cannot. You must use a image hosting site (discord works quite well, apparently), then upload the images using the url Sapphire Elephant (Ivory Dragonfly) I was waiting for this kind of thing. Continue with your reads, please! EDIT: yeah no I'm village leaning on that post after having finally read it.
