  1. Some thoughts so far: Nothing particularly Village indicative from anyone. Two top suspicions are right now Magenta Albatross and Plum Rhino, with Tuatara and Scorpion following. of these people, Scorpion and Tuatara are likely not E!aligned, Rhino and Albatross are not E!aligned, unless Weasel and Rhino (who are potentially aligned) are both Elims. Albatross posts I note: Rhino Posts of note: That's all I feel like doing right now. Tag me with any questions.
  2. Ahem. Let's try that again, shall we. Give me some reasons i should vote you instead and I would be happy to oblige! Don't know why you would, but who's to say! I will be back in a few hours and will say a bit more on my thoughts then.
  3. I am a coward and a traitor. Always have been, from the time I accepted the Ghostbloods’ offer of membership to now when I ask you for the Mercy I once held and discarded. I left behind my family, friends, and even planet when the Ghostbloods offered me a place. I never once spoke out against their ideologies or methods even when two innocents died to grant me power over Fortune. And yet when I first encountered the agents of Odium I forsook my oaths and allegiances to join up with Hate incarnate. As one of their champions, I helped kill seven people, Shatter two Shards, and remove three from existence. Even here, entrusted with the full power of Mercy, almost a sixteenth of all there ever was in the Cosmere, my self-preservatory habits continued. Siena and Aurora I let die face the wrath of the assembled Shardic collective when my voice could have saved them. I foisted Mercy off on Solemnheart at their request when suspicion fell upon that Shard and helped orchestrate the death of the only person who knew the level of power I once held. I made only cursory attempts to defend Solemnheart and Konion from death and accelerated the timetable of Scarlet’s death. Now I am alone against the insurmountable might of the remaining Shards, all allies having either died or achieved their goals. I have seen the honor and compassion of your remaining coalition, though the former now lies only in our hearts and the latter a force wholly independent of Adonalsium. No longer shall I allow this conflict to continue. For my last act as your enemy, I will Shatter the Shard that started this conflict before its Intent overwhelms me. It is up to you whether I survive this, and what happens to me should you choose to spare me. I will accept whatever judgement you wish to give. -Enoras, current Odium, ex-Dominion, ex-Mercy, ex-Ringer, ex-Ghostblood, ex-decent person.
  4. Octopus. I don't suppose you'll tell us who got attacked and survived N3?
  5. Adding on that the reasoning for avoiding threatening neutrals and similarly any other strategy that involves coercing players to follow another player's instruction is that these decrease game enjoyment for everyone involved and is not worth any strategic advantage that may be gained. By the personal nature of a threat, this is a more strict and extreme version of the game not being fun when all you're doing is following along with what a PM circle is doing.
  6. Near the beginning of the game I suggested that the elims telling a neutral to support them or die would be close to blackmail and the easiest solution would be for the neutral to publicly out the elim who made the threat and arrange for protection just in case. I do think that a villager threatening to remove a neutral unless they give up information about the elims falls under the same category of unwarranted threat, though a lesser tier since a single villager typically cannot kill a neutral. I don't know whether removing Dingo would solve this problem long term. Consequences are only useful if they prevent future behavior. @Melon Dingo, I don't know how many games you've played with neutrals before. I've been told that you have played at least two games, but not whether those games had neutrals such as the ones featured in the two most recent games. General practice in recent times, especially since some ugliness in LG 35 particularly that I remember but was not around to see happen live, is that neutrals should not be coerced into working for a particular side with threats of force. I would invite you to publicly discuss your own feelings on the issue.
  7. So if Ostrich had Odium D4 but then didn't have it D5, it means they passed it to someone D4 and would have also Invested in someone, consuming both actions. Assuming the kill on Iguana was an elim with a kill item instead of a villagante or neutralante, that would mean at least three elim attacks, which would require two non-Ostrich elims. With Albatross being Invested in by Preservation N4, that means that Albatross is village, the elims started out with seven players, or an elim who was a non-Shard D4 was Invested in by Odium and Gorilla and then got passed Odium while having a kill item and submitted three different kills. That last option is put out of reach by someone having apparently been attacked twice, so overall going to leave Albatross alone unless six elims are dead and the game isn't over. Between Vulture and Octopus, the latter has been in the Rosharan system, Braize specifically, since the game started and hasn’t obviously been attacked. There was a N3 Odium kill that was unsuccessful that may or may not have targeted Octopus. The only time Octopus has actually used their double vote was on D5 with an obvious Ostrich removal. They went almost the length of two cycles without posting, missing D3 and N3, which is the window where Mercy likely would have been passed for Rhino to have been Mercy by D4 despite being a non-Shard N2, though you don’t need to have posted to submit actions. Octopus showed up at the end of D4 but didn't vote. Vulture most recently marked most of the minimal actives as null and had an elim read on Zebra. Mixed up Octopus and Flamingo and thought that Octopus had voted on Croc D1, which would be an odd thing to misremember if Amber and Scarlet were both evil. Vulture voted for Elephant over Gecko D2, but for Crocodile over Kangaroos D1 which I think is overall village leaning between those two votes.
  8. If you were Invested by Preservation I think that counts as a roleblock and your attack wouldn't have shown up in a writeup, so that leaves four other attacks. Odium, Odium's Investee, Ruin's Investee, and one more. Or it seems Opal says Ruin's Investee didn't attack anyone? Which would leave two unaccounted for attacks. Ostrich.
  9. I'd like to have 20 posts by the time the graph gets remade. Have a nice consecutive bird train right there in the middle.
  10. I was always on your side, or more accurately you supported my assessment. The graph certainly looks like a Kangaroo. I believe it can become a dinosaur by the time the cycle ends after the posts are tallied up again, and there's certainly no harm in giving it a name worthy of a dinosaur.
  11. We can make it a Kangaroo-shaped dinosaur. Kangasaurus. Apparently that's a thing already, a dinosaur-shaped kangaroo. Anyone have any other names?
  12. Most of your reasoning for voting on Ostrich made sense, except for the part where you said Ostrich voted for Beagle when the main target was Gecko given that there wasn't a super big train on anyone at that point. Flamingo I'm feeling pretty good about for their votes on Crocodile D1 and then Gecko D2. The main thing against them is Mouse's claim that Flamingo was in the Rosharan system C2 without being attacked by Odium. What's your reasoning on Scorpion? Treating neutrals as hostile is how you get hostile neutrals. We're certainly not anywhere near a point where there's a choice between the village winning and Autonomy winning, so there's no reason to assume those goals conflict. The elims are going to need a non-Shard to receive Odium's Investiture so long as village non-Shards exist. The elims can only kill off non-Shards so quickly though since Odium's kill doesn't work on them.
  13. @Cream Tuatara, you'll be hit by the inactivity filter if you don't post before the day turn ends.
  14. You're right. Only read the first part of the Shardic action where it talked about a day action.
  15. Rhino, Ostrich. Rhino (8): Charcoal Hyena, Onyx Flamingo, Quartz Zebra, Albatross, Dingo, Scorpion, Iguana, Ostrich Fuschia Ostrich (4): Opal Lion, Mouse, Axolotl, Swan Mercy doesn't have nightly Shardic actions and Cultivation can't preemptively heal Shards since Cultivation's Shardic occurs before kills, which would make Ostrich Odium if Mouse is relaying correct information. Removing Odium as opposed to a different elim doesn't accomplish a whole lot because they can pass the Shard off to a teammate by Investing in them before dying but that's still something. We can at least make sure one of these two dies even if Mercy gets involved.
  16. Taupe Gecko (5): Violet Axolotl, Onyx Flamingo, Saffron Iguana, Charcoal Hyena, Coral Swan Oxblood Beagle (4): Fuchsia Ostrich, Azure Mouse, Taupe Gecko, Plum Rhinoceros Turquoise Gorilla (1): Opal Lion Coral Swan (1): Oxblood Beagle Sapphire Elephant (1): Quartz Zebra Opal Lion (1): Melon Dingo This was the vote count right before Beagle claimed a powerful role and nobody else voted for Beagle after this, with Beagle, Lion, and Dragonfly subsequently adding votes to Gecko. There weren't really any trains besides the Gecko/Beagle conflict except for the brief time Lion was accused of searching for Cultivation.
  17. Gecko wasn't really at risk at the time and there were plenty of other people with a vote, so if Ostrich is evil the point of going for Beagle is more likely to have been about getting rid of villagers who might be able to figure out who Autonomy was so as to avoid Autonomy siding with the village than saving Gecko.
  18. That's a lot of votes for Rhino already. I will probably switch to a secondary vote in case Rhino gets Mercy'd assuming the margin for Rhino is sufficiently high. So far we have one vote on Ostrich. Taupe Gecko (2): Sapphire Elephant, Violet Axolotl Violet Axolotl (1): Azure Mouse Turquoise Gorilla (1): Taupe Gecko Chartreuse Penguin (1): Opal Lion Charcoal Hyena (1): Saffron Iguana Coral Swan(1): Oxblood Beagle Sapphire Elephant(1): Quartz Zebra Cream Tuatara(1): Azure Mouse This is what the vote count looked like at the time Ostrich brought up Beagle. Since Gecko was on FotS at the time, this is a multi-way (some of these people may have been on FotS or Braize) tie for the lead. There was also someone who shifted a vote from Gecko to Beagle with a decent chance of that being elim-motivated. An elim Ostrich at this point would likely be more focused on getting rid of any village competition for Autonomy's identity than saving Gecko, though getting a solid side removal couldn't have hurt. The not wanting to vote thing is strange. Have we seen evidence of Autonomy favoring a side? They apparently voted for Albatross instead of Gecko last day turn, but there was no way that would affect the results.
  19. With no Ruin's Investee kill last night nor any other attacks, the possibility that Gecko has some sort of protective ability and the guarantee that Mercy couldn't have protected Gecko for this turn, I'll vote for Gecko today (actual vote, ignore colors below). For the missing Odium's Investee kill, we have Axolotl (unlikely as they're probably village), the people on Shadesmar, and the possibility that OCs targeted Axolotl assuming it's true that they were Preservation's Investee last night. We'll get more information about the middle case from Gecko's flip. Splitting the Shadesmar Eight by vote history we get: D1: Crocodile(0): Kangaroo(2): Hyena, Gorilla Iguana(1): Mouse None(5): Iguana, Dingo, Dragonfly, Rhino, Scorpion D2: Gecko(3): Hyena, Dragonfly, Iguana Beagle(2): Mouse, Rhino Lion(1): Dingo None(2): Gorilla, Scorpion This isn't obviously village confirming for anyone involved. Hyena, Gorilla, Mouse, and Rhino have the votes that jump out as potentially being malicious. I'd trust the D1 vote to be more alignment indicative assuming Gecko flips elim since that would mean the elims knew Gecko would survive D2, but also Gecko didn't seem to want people to know they'd been Invested by Mercy and most of the Shadesmar Eight didn't vote D1 with none of them voting Crocodile. Iguana also couldn't vote D1.
  20. What were you thinking when you voted for Beagle in "self-preservation"? You would have known that you wouldn't die no matter how many votes you had. It seems more like you were actively hoping to hide the fact that Mercy had Invested in you. I'll predict there isn't a Ruin Investee just because of how few people capable of being Invested there are, but there are other kill items and Mercy cannot protect Gecko again.
