  1. Draug nodded, following. "I was able to kill one pretty quickly. After that, I just had to evade..." He trailed off and yawned, then continued. "Doc was able to outrun a Voidbringer with Abrasion? I'm impressed." @AonEne
  2. A small ball of light floated up to the door. Closed, he thought with a sigh. He hated going through doors. He flew around the building, trying to see if any windows were open. Sadly, none were. Nothing for it, then, he thought. Bracing himself, he jumped quickly into the window and then out again on the other side. He sank to the table on the other side, feeling stretched.
  3. The man took the hand gingerly. "My name is Rekaerb. I'm... many things." He ignored her mention of 'Bennington'. Probably just another example of the strangeness of the Alleys.
  4. The liquid splashed harmlessly off of Edahs. He hissed in annoyance, then lunged for Alask's throat with his hand. He had no time for this. @I think I am here.
  5. It read to me like a self-preservation vote. Something you clearly are not opposed to, if you're considering it yourself.
  6. Tom shook his head. "It's not a big problem to us right now. There's only so much the handerfles can do. But the fact that she can..." He shook his head again. "The security of my systems was always bad- handerfles are horrible at that sort of thing. This is just going to make it worse." Mist from the falls began to sweep across the boat as it approached.
  7. The ghanderflaffles had been created because they were much smarter than handerfles.
  8. I think the leecher wouldn't be able to. I don't know what happens when a leecher tries to leech too much, but it probably isn't pretty. He could have done that anyways, right? Even if not, Shardic powers are often limited. His could be limited to just granting Epic powers. For your second point- his physical form is just an avatar for a much more powerful being. He basically Ascends at the end of Calamity, right?
  9. I think Elandera is pretty correct in her reasoning. It may always be hard to read alignments, but it's going to be even more so now. When someone bandwagons in this game, you don't know if they're doing it because of elim reasons (just for the sake of lynching them, or because they can't come up with reasoning for someone else) or because they want to get Breaths. I also do not think that CadCom's post sounds panicked. It seems like a perfectly reasonable thing for a villager to do after finding a poke-vote and a bandwagon on themselves.
  10. Draug hopped off the roof into the yard below. "Did that Voidbringer give you any trouble?"
  11. The breadmunk scurried up onto her seat and snuggled into her lap, mewing softly, but did not respond. @Dr. Dapper
  12. The handerfles blinked. Then, as one, they attacked. "She's figured out how to mind control them!" cried Tom as he started waving his hands again. "She probably figured it out from my notes." The falls were even louder now, but Samika's angry growls could still be heard over them. "Just give up already!" she cried. "You know you deserve every last thing I'm going to do to you!" The breadmunk hopped in behind her, mewling happily. @Dr. Dapper
  13. He had worked on them with his head ghanderflaffle.
  14. The figure looked on in surprise. She could sense others' usage of Silence already? Powerful, indeed... He cleared his throat silently, then went on. I see that you have both succeeded. Now, a few things- you will not be able to make any noise while you have Silence upon you, including talking. In this way, you can gain an even greater understanding and connection to Silence; and that will, in turn, allow you to do many of the more advanced arts. If at any time you wish to return to noise, you can do so- just push the Silence away. Be warned, however, that this can undo much of the progress you have made.
  15. Ten times as good as Gandalf's firecracker shows.
  16. Draug shot down the street towards the Radiant house, Lashed as hard as he dared. He'd managed to deal with two of the Voidbringers, but one had taken off earlier to chase Doc, Cassie, and Jamie. He was pretty sure they could deal with one Voidbringer, but he was still worried. He was supposed to be protecting these people, after all. As he approached the house, he saw the car they'd taken in the driveway. That was a good sign. As he got even closer, he saw Jamie and Cassie in the backyard, and felt the tension inside of him relax. He landed on the rooftop overlooking the backyard and waved at the pair. "Hello! Did you get home okay?" he called down.
  17. Makes sense. Sart, Cadcom has shown up- why haven't you removed your poke-vote? Ah, wait- read that post. Nevertheless, the point stands- keeping yourself alive is a good move even if you are village; yourself is the only person you know is village.
  18. I see no problem with either of those points. Calamity's "Investiture" would probably be a different flavor.
