  1. Their souls were transformed into stormwraiths.
  2. Pheonix smiled. "Now," he said, "you try." @BringerofShadows
  3. What do you mean? I'll also swap out the pewter feruchemy for duralumin feruchemy, so: -Inkspren -F-duralumin -F-nicrosil
  4. Actually, what am I thinking? Inkspren means Stormlight. I'll swap for feruchemical nicrosil.
  5. That's part of the character. Brandon has said that you can do it, you just need the consent of the spren- and of all the spren, I feel like an inkspren would be the most likely to agree.
  6. I'll be a Hemalurgist. Three spikes embedded (no mind control for me, thank you). -Gold feruchemy -Gold allomancy, if possible/Pewter Feruchemy -Stolen Inkspren Assorted other spikes, some charged, some not. Not sure how much detail to go into.
  7. This might be worth a try.
  8. Pheonix smiled and stepped through the doorway. As he did so, he made a waving motion with his hand. In front of him, a tiny vessel materialized out of thin air. It was round and cuplike, with a flat bottom, and crafted out of a smooth off-white material. It began to move as soon as it popped into existence, darting aimlessly about the hall.
  9. Pheonix stopped at a nondescript door, smiled, then threw it open. Behind it lay an equally nondescript hallway, extending forth for a fairly long distance before ending in a door on the other side. "The Branch," Pheonix announced. "Ta-da!"
  10. Luckily for him, his prophecy was anonymous.
  11. The prophecy in question had been made by a fradulent oracle.
  12. Phoenix nodded. "If you would just step this way, please..." Deeper and deeper he led them, turning corners, checking maps, scratching his head, asking Xino for help, then leading the group in another direction. But, at last, they arrived.
  13. In moments, they faded, replaced with a hundreds of thousands of other images and thoughts. Slowly they swirled around Max, trapped in his state of stasis. "I have need of your services," said the voice. Said Fate.
  14. A voice, barely audible, echoed in his hearing. "Well," it said. "What have we here?"
  15. Many years later, in the present, the Witherlord looked up at Xinoehp. And smiled. "It's funny," he said. "Just when you think you have it all... you lose it." The words clanked around in Xinoehp's head for a second. Then, something clicked. And Xinoehp remembered.
  16. Unbeknownst to her, there were forces out there who wanted to ensure that Max would remain unfound.
  17. She had been offered another option. In her foolishness, she had taken it, believing that clinging to this flimsy world was worth anything.
  18. Suddenly she remembered that she was a ghost, and was sad. If only she could have passed on...
  19. Xinoehp struck. He struck again. Each blow caused the Witherlord to shrink back further, power dissipating in flashes of light. "You. Will. Not. Tear. Us. Down. Anymore." he snarled. With a mighty swing, a beam of light shot from the spear, pinning the Witherlord in place. "Any last words?" asked Xinoehp.
