    Ashley follows the other people through the portal. I hope time is on our side, she thought to herself. Who knows what might be happening to her colleagues at that moment? But perhaps leaving was for the best. Her lab had been mostly cut off from the outside world for a while, so perhaps she could leverage this opportunity to call for help from some of her allies.
