  1. There is a soft chuckle as the door swings inward, revealing a hunched figure in a tattered black robe. "Awake now, are we?" he rasped, hobbling into the room and closing the door behind him. His mouth opened wide in a pockmarked smile. "Perfect, perfect..."
  2. The monster's lunges forward towards the sound with surprising speed.
  3. The monster lets out a roar of agony as it realizes that its sight has been taken from it - then, all of a sudden, falls quiet. Its ears twitch, trying to pick up on the soft footsteps of the people still inside the lab.

  9. And galloons upon galloons of Melted Shardfork.
  10. The fire roared over the creature's scales, but didn't seem to have any effect. The green seemed to be... repelling it, somehow.
  11. Ashley burst threw the doorway just in time to see the doors to the stairwell swinging shut. She ran to follow, but when she got to the doors, she found them locked. She pulled out her key and flashed it against the pad by the side of the door, but - somewhat unsurprisingly - nothing happened. She muttered something under her breath. Well, at least they had explosives.
