    I would use NKs on people who could be evil. There's a higher likelihood of hitting a villager but hitting an elim hurts them more, same as any other vig kill. I'm guessing it's 9-3-1 or 8-4-1 right now, which does make a difference but means I won't try to hit a villager on purpose this cycle. Edit: @JNV I'm not going to be a personal assassin and if I'm going to be exed this cycle I'll do nothing and just leave the village and elims to fight it out. If I get a vaguely agreed-upon do not kill list I'll respect that.

    Protect in my hands doesn't really help me. In someone else's hands, theoretically it could protect me. Mostly though, goal #1 is to keep the game balanced between the village and elims for as long as possible, goal #2 is to interact with the game. It's not interesting for me to just do nothing and try to blend in with the crowd. I want to be a player more than an auto-balancing mechanism. Of course I've been lying the whole game. I was about to be killed for voting Stick C1 instead of going along with something easy, and revealing SK Calamity wouldn't have saved me. I am a neutral. I can't support the win-con of killing all the Corrupted Epics unless I also win by winnowing down the player list to two other people. I can't support the Corrupted Epics winning any time before v/e parity at 1-1. Now that I've had to claim, both sides can decide to kill me whenever they want and there's not much I can do about it. I'm not going to count on TUA protecting me and that can't save me twice in a row anyway. Nothing involving me happens to Epics who die, but I do get protect back if TUA dies, I just can't give it to anyone else after that. I don't know why you think Calamity doesn't make sense narratively or why I wouldn't be a neutral.

    C1 I tried to soothe Kas and it bounced to Araris, which is part of the reason why I was confident about Araris being a mutual target switcher.

    I've already claimed two actions per cycle with the power scan + soothe C1. I can use the same power in consecutive cycles it's that protection can't target the same player twice in a row.

    Self-protect is way too powerful for me since the only one I need to protect is me for the most part. As it is, protect was only useful because I could give it away.

    I gave that role to TUA, and I know because it doesn't let you self-protect. No. The giving away powers is a Calamity thing, not an Epic power. I provide insurance against losing outright to honestly both sides (kill, soothe, regular vote) it just could take a lot longer to win if I also win.

    I have a bunch of Epic powers that I can hand out. If I use any of those powers myself, they can be stolen by a thief. Giving powers away to someone does not count as a power that can be stolen. I lose if the elims outnumber while there's too many players e.g. 2 elims-1 villager, or if the village kills all the elims while there's still 3+ villagers left, so I have to make sure the game stays close. Protect isn't useful to me since I couldn't self-target with it.

    A thief can only steal a power when it's used, and giving someone an Epic power doesn't count as me using an Epic power.

    I thought they would keep quiet about it to avoid being killed, and that claiming to have scanned them as not an Epic would be a hint to do so.

    SK, need 3 or fewer players including me left alive. I outed myself last time I was an SK and wanted to try to stay undercover this time, but apparently not. There'd be no reason to drag TUA into it to protect elim!me.

    Mat wasn't an Epic either. And apparently I'm the only neutral in the game. So of the five people attacked we have Thaidakar claiming to have killed Striker and whoever he targeted, Stick claiming to have killed Experience + one other villager, and then the last death is either an elim kill or @Illwei's attack been targeted at me. If Thaidakar is telling the truth then whoever got your Gift is dead.

    I can't be killed with Epic powers. I targeted TUA because someone wanted me to and nobody else had a suggestion. I only have so many shots and wanted to be a little more judicious about which Epics I killed. My ability would not have killed TUA if they'd been an Epic.

    Why would stealing Illwei's powers have killed me? Or did you try to steal my powers to kill Illwei and it didn't work because my kill is not an Epic power? Edit: I could have survived a redirected Epic kill or some kind of remote detonation Jester role. I was thinking something that killed a random half rounded down of whoever voted for someone but if Illwei has an Epic kill role and that's why I was attacked then arsonist comes into play again.

    There's too many kills to be arsonist. Even with the duplication from Striker there's only been three cycles to prepare and light and four + one people were attacked. I do.

    Looks like a bunch of people voting for Archer died in the explosion, and then the elims killed Striker hoping to bounce. Not sure why Striker was lying about being a neutral but okay. And we still don't learn Mat and Karn's alignments. TUA is not an Epic.
