Maybe I should explain how this is going to work a little bit more... So, imagine a scale of 1–10. 1 would be ultra free-form RP, (think FotT) and 10 would be just a game with no RP at all. DnD would be a 6, Sanderson Elimination would be a 7, this is going to be an 8. Maybe 8.5. I almost put it in the Forum Games category altogether. The goal was to make this as different from a traditional RP as possible. Trying to make a RP-less RP. Y’all might not even have characters. Still deciding on that.

Okay, awesome. Do all of you want to do the RP too? I thought about it more and it’s going to actually be rather hard to plan around the secret stuff.

I have decided to finally start working on this. Life has calmed down and I have more free time. If anyone would like to help, just mention me here. Not help with running it, I can do all the Narrating myself, but help setting it up. Worldbuilding and stuff. Things I could use some help on: 1. Map making 2. Loose magic system ideas 3. Map making 4. Someone to bounce backstory ideas off of 5.Oh, also Map Making. If you think you’re good at any of this, and you want to help, feel free to offer your services. I won’t reveal too much about plot or the twists I’m planning, so you should be able to help plan, and also still do the RP itself.

My personal theory is that they are a Kandra of some sort, but I do like that pulser theory. My evidence is this: The number 16, while being important Cosmere-wide, has always been extra prevalent on Scadrial. Kandra can go a very long time without needing food. Kandra cannot create hair. Sixteen is bald.

I would like to note that there’s actually 2 kinds of Moash hate in this thread, and they definitely aren’t created equal. Group 1 is all of the people who hate Moash in-world. They hate the character for all the awful things he’s done. Group 2 is all of the people who hate Moash from a writing perspective. They think he’s a flat character, not interesting. They feel like the Group 1 type hatred is fake and forced. So there are actually 2 nearly opposite opinions here, despite seeming like we’re all in agreement. At least we all know which group is right.

Yes, I think Harmony is obviously grooming Wax, but also it’s gonna be Kal. Why else would those be epigraphs in a Stormlight book? I think they’re Kal chapters even. I think Wax is going to die or otherwise become ineligible to be Harmony’s sword, and then Kal is going to step in.

Heh. This is a fun idea, but I don’t think the timeline matches up. Brandon hasn’t even absolutely canonized that W&W is in between SA 5 and 6. I think he said fairly recently that he is thinking of making it take place earlier, about during WoK. If Shallan was Rannette that would mean that the timeline has to be set in stone, but as Brandon seems to still be deciding, I think it’s pretty damning evidence that this can’t be the case. Also, I think it’s pretty obvious that Harmony’s sword is going to be Kal right? Someone who can can Protect and Kill? Who harnesses both Preservation and Ruin? That’s literally Kal’s whole thing. Surgeon vs Soldier and all that.

Yeah I realized that after. I don’t know why I thought it wasn’t. =P Doesn’t Stormlight take place hundreds, if not thousands, of years before 6th of the Dusk though? Makes me wonder how that works.

I still can’t believe that it actually happened. That was insane. Like, we’ve had WoBs about what might happen if Nightblood interacted with a Shard, but I didn’t expect for it to actually happen. Yesssss those were exactly the sort of things I wanted from this. I posted a few comments on your comments too.

While I was reading this absolute beast of a book, I wrote down thoughts as I had them. I didn’t want to restrict myself by being super detailed or organized, I just sorta rambled as I read. Hence the name. A lot of the notes are just small little things I noticed, but a lot of them are rather cool, probably deserving of their own thread eventually. I would like to stress that I wrote these all as I was reading, if you don’t understand that, a lot of the things I say don’t make any sense. Also some of the epic reveals that I totally called won’t seem as impressive. Here’s the google doc, I have it on suggest intentionally, people can sorta add their own thoughts in response to mine. I think it’s pretty obviously Gears. We haven’t seen any evidence of a 3rd Roleblocker, and that’s the only possible way Gears is village. IF YOU ROLEBLOCKED SOMEONE THE CYCLE THAT READING SURVIVED, PLEASE TELL.

I dunno about Quinn. They’re acting suspicious and their votes have been fairly erratic, but I don’t think I’m reading them as Elim. A lot of my reads kinda depend on how Gears flips, but right now I’m guessing the Elim team consists of 4 of these people, in order from most to least likely: Gears, Fadran, Sart, Aman, Vapor, TJ, Whysper. Im only really suspicious of Gears and Fadran, rest are reads based on inactivity, or just gut reads.

mmmmm Quinn does make a good point. The mysterious ‘third Roleblocker’ doesn’t seem to exist, so Gears does make a lot of sense.

So, now what? I think we vote someone else, save gears for later. Connie made a good point last cycle about what to do when Gears survives. He’s either Spiked, E-TLR, or V-TLR. If he’s E-TLR, we can basically ignore him, his ability doesn’t help the Elims, and he doesn’t count for parity. If he’s V-TLR, we should definitely not kill him, and if he’s Spiked we definitely should kill him. There’s really no way of knowing which of the three possibilities it is though. sigh It’s like, for every possible scenario, there are a ton of possible causes. It’s impossible to actually know anything. Feels like we’re just guessing at this point.

I made that same argument about Connie being a Hem in LG71, remember? The Elims might purposely attack someone else because they know they can get a free mislynch by doing so.
