  1. I’d say that’s exactly what I’m doing. Playing the meta by using what I know about other people’s playstyles to judge if they are Elim or not. I doubt every single person in the game absolutely believes Connie’s no-lying policy. And that’s a good thing, it shouldn’t absolutely clear her. But I’m the one who currently has a vote on her, and I do currently believe her. This is more of a “game-meta as a whole” opinion, but I think there absolutely should be methods in-games to give hard proof that someone is Village. Almost every game I’ve ever played has had some sort of mechanic that made it impossible to ever 100% clear someone. Like, you could tell that some mechanics were added for the sole purpose of making proven villagers impossible. I think games should have ways of hard-clearing. Like Visual Tasks in Among Us. I see this as the same thing, but instead of using the game’s ruleset, I’m using a player’s personal playstyle. And again, it doesn’t even hard-clear her that much, since it’s still all based on things she’s said. But it would be enough for me personally to remove my vote.
  2. So this just happened. My brother is asleep, and I heard him mumbling in his sleep, so I went to check on him. He’s sorta mumbling and rolling around a little bit, when all of a sudden he sits straight up, looks directly at me, says “I don’t even remember what happened”, and immediately falls back over. So that’s fun.
  3. Haha yes! Remove the plot armor! Nobody is safe!
  4. Those are absolutely the same thing, but I guess you could choose to twist it that way. Alright then, let’s do this. Say “I’m a villager”. Because I believe you about the “no lying” thing. Others may not, but I currently do. So if you want me to remove my vote, just say “I’m a villager”. Without any phrasing or technicality that could possibly mean otherwise.
  5. Exhibit A: Exhibit B: Exhibit C: Connie
  6. Uhhhhhhhhhh Connie: “I’m an Elim!” Also Connie: “Btw, I’ll never lie ever. Literally ever. So I’ve essentially 10000000% confirmed I’m Elim.” Also also Connie: “So why is that sus?”
  7. Whats a Bible smuggler?
  8. I feel like that’s actually a point in the other direction. The difference between saying “I’m claiming Elim” and “I’m an Elim” seems so minute to me that’s it’s practically nonexistent. I’d forgotten that “not lying” is one of Connie’s things, but that kinda makes me even more suspicious of her. Obviously she could just, decide to start lying, so this isn’t a huge point either way, but I think it points towards Elim a bit more.
  9. To some extent, yeah, I think so. We already know metalminds can store Connection and Identity, and those are basically what Spiritwebs are made of.
  10. Guess who completely missed their 1000th post

  11. I am in favor of condensing, but I’m not really sus of Illwei.
  12. The key here is that there is a difference between your ‘Soul’ and your Spiritual Aspect. Soul- Existence is debatable. Not related to investiture in any way. If the Beyond exists, these are what go there. Will always remain un-canonized. Spiritual Aspect- Also called your Spiritweb. Composed of Investiture and Connection. Resides in the Spiritual Realm. Very important with regards to all Realmatics. Hemalurgy, Investiture Healing, Shardblade wounds, Nahel Bonds, and almost any other type of magic is related to the Spiritweb. The most confusing thing is that the Spiritual Aspect is often referred to as someone’s ‘soul’ in-world and by Brandon in WoBs.
  13. Lol, that’s just an expression. It’s supposed to be the Singer-ized version of “speak of the devil and he appears”. Which is an expression used for whenever you’re talking about someone and they coincidentally walk into the room. As for Ulim, I’m most interested in his language patterns. He and some of the Heralds (specifically Ash) seem to speak more modern-y, more casual. What’s up with that? People have guessed it’s a Braize thing, since that’s the only thing they have in common, but nothing lives on Braize except for them. So where did that manner of speaking come from before it was on Braize? My guess is Ashyn. And considering how none of the other fused speak like Ulim, I think that instead of the Heralds being related to Ulim/Braize, I think that Ulim is related to the Heralds/Ashyn.
  14. Wok: Intrigued by her backstory, but more interested in Bridge 4. Not annoyed by her at all. Wor: ohmahgosh her flashback chapters are so good. So traumatic and horrifying. O: Pretty good. RoW: Very interesting, love the testament twist and the foreshadowing that went up to it.
  15. The man grabbed a few sheets of brass from under the counter and handed them over. “You kids take care.”
  16. The man took the coins and gave a few back. “I’ll just give you a bag of powder, you can mix it in vials yourself. Easier to control portions that way, and you can carry more on you.” He hands Lilliana a cloth drawstring bag full of copper dust. “As for the metalmind, this is mainly an allomantic shop, so I don’t have any shaped bracers on me, but I could give you some plates of brass. Very pure, would hold a charge just fine, just not as convenient as a bracer or ring.”
  17. The old man walked back into the room carrying a couple of vials. “Here you go. Just like the vials Mistborn supposedly carried. Cept with even more metals. I suppose you’ll be paying?” He looked at Lilliana.
  18. Huh, Firesoul. I’ve always had questions about them. Like, ff you filled your metalmind as fast as possible, could you just walk through fire?
  19. “Not sure. Try filling it. Slowly though, don’t want anything crazy to happen.”
  20. “Hmm.” “Good idea.” I lean over the counter and notice boxes of metal plates, probably for grinding down into dust. “Over here. Everyone see if you can fill any of these.” I run my hand over all of them with no effect. “Nice to meet you Gracie.”
  21. "Daniel." I look around. "You really think all this is real? That we're on a different planet?"
  22. "Huh. Lucky indeed. I wish we knew more about how people became allomancers in Era 2. The man seemed confused when I asked for a testing vial. Does that mean that people instinctively know what their metal is when they snap? There's so much we don't know. Speaking of things I don't know, you never introduced yourself." I turn to see that someone else is here too, wearing earth clothes. "Neither did you."
  23. "Hmmm, all right." The man handed Lilliana a bag full of coins and took the aluminum. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" *** "Yes there is." I say. "Do you have any, erm, allomantic test bottles? To test if someone is an allomancer or not?" The man looks confused. "Uh, I guess I could whip something like that up." He walks into the back. "You're burning bronze?" I ask. "How'd that happen?"
  24. The man's eyes narrow slightly. "How did a child like you end up with a fortune in aluminum? I won't buy stolen goods."
